Differing from most conventional classrooms, the location of the Chakra Manipulation Class is a bit out of the way of the main Academy, a large expanse that has several chakratrees within pots at the sides, and a large blackboard at the back. Though there are enough chairs and tables to seat a good sized class, the sheer size of the room leaves plenty of space for students to move around and practice their skills. Set just before the blackboard is a slight podium, allowing the instructor to be seen even by students at the back of the room. Though there are cupboards filled with books and scrolls, the class rarely uses them, the teacher's unusual methods being taught in preference to generic theory, though students are encouraged to learn on their own when they have the time.
At the back of the room, on either side of the entrance, lie two strange metal constructs, composed of a rare chakra absorbing metal and used by the students for any target practice they may need to make, as the attacks that hit it are locked away by the metal, which slowly releases it into the atmosphere, feeding the chakratrees. For the purposes of Shape Transformation, with the students learning how to form chakra, powdered chakratree bark is thrown into the air, the powder being drawn to the chakra as it is moved, making even the weak creations of genin visible to the human eye.
Though the teacher is pretty lenient when it comes to rules, anyone who forces her to demonstrate twice due to a lack of attention will receive another demonstration, generally showing a practical application that ends in the student picking themselves up off the floor.
