This is the camp for Artemis' huntresses, the large group of ten-thirteen-year-olds who have turned their back on men in favor of living forever. The camp is efficient, and takes minutes to set up and then minutes to pack. There are tents for girls to share, depending on their smaller group within the hunters, and the wolves that act as the scent dogs sleep near the tent. On a rainy night, they sleep within. The camp is most often in a clearing where, for the course of the night, the moon can watch over them. Current Captain: Anna Marie Salion

She grumbled and pushed the animal's snout away gently, "What is it, Morrigan? Something wrong?" The girl rolled over and tried to go back to sleep, but opened her eyes when Morrigan pawed at her and said, "No, just thought you had some dried meat on you. I like it, it's a nice treat." Melony chuckled and sat up, bumping her forehead affectionately against her Guardian's, "No, I don't have any. At least not on my person. And it's called Beef Jerky, for future reference." Morrigan huffed and gave what could be taken as a shrug, "It's still just dried and spiced meat. Regardless of the name you humans gave it."Melony chuckled again and wiggled out from under the wolf (Morrigan had a habit of laying on nearly on top of her. The Huntress had gotten used to it over the years.), grabbing her small bag and pulling out the bag of jerky, "Here, my dear, go crazy." She said and opened the bag for the wolf. Morrigan gave a sharp fanged smile, nodding her head, "Thank you, child." She proceeded to shove her muzzle into the bag and scarf down the rest of the food. Melony watched her with amused and loving eyes, like a sister would watch a sister. Or how a daughter would watch her mother. That's really what the wolf had been to her, a mother. Not that Artemis wasn't, of course, but Morrigan held a special place in Melony's heart. After she'd saved her life and sworn her oath to protect Melony at all costs, the wolf had acted more like a friend and sister than a protector. Melony had been in this camp for close to ninety three years, and never had she found a better friend. She loved her sisters, true enough, but still.... There was something about that wolf. Melony packed up her things, taking a deep breath of the forest air (for it had been a nice, clear night, and they had slept under the stars), then she motioned for Morrigan to follow and she headed out into the forest, taking out her sketchpad and finding a nice, sunny spot to sit. She spoke to Morrigan in her perpetually soft voice as she drew the forest around her. After years and years of drawing, she never got bored. Most people would have, but not Melony. It was something, like Morrigan, she would never grow to dislike. Something that her love for would only grow stronger. As she sketched, she kept an ear out to the camp, just in case Artemis decided to move today. They never stayed in one place for the same amount of time as the last, and sometimes it would seem (at least to Melony) that they would pack up and move randomly. But then, she supposed that Artemis had some divine plan for them, or she just liked to stay on the move. And Melony didn't mind that. In fact, she quite enjoyed it. well ι тooĸ α wαlĸ αroυɴd тнe world тo eαѕe мy тroυвled мιɴd ι leғт мy вody lyιɴɢ ѕoмewнere ιɴ тнe ѕαɴdѕ oғ тιмe вυт ι wαтcнed тнe world ғloαт тo тнe dαrĸ ѕιde oғ тнe (мooɴ) ι ғeel тнere ιѕ [ɴoтнιɴɢ] ι cαɴ do..... ___________αятємιѕ' нυηтяєѕѕ

The o l d e s t living huntress, The s e c o n d child born in the Colonies, V i r g i n a Dare's cousin, and a S i o u x Indian abcdefghijklmnopSarah Mae sat in the crook of an oak tree near the Huntress camp, lost in thought. She was thinking. Nothing in particular, just her life. About the Colony that she was born into, Her family in the Sioux, in the Muskogee, and the white man. Yes, she was raised as a Muskogee, but when you have 400 years to discover your heritage you learn a lot more than you would in a normal lifetime. Anyway, Ehawee was just thinking about her life. Simple things like the last 5 decades, and bigger things like the South African Slaughter. A chill shot up the girl's spine. South Africa. That was something she will never forget. Altose great hunters that were lost. Alexandria and Anastasia the Russians, Dena the Alabama Indian, Elizabeth the French, Jia Li the Japanese, and Virginia Dare her cousin. Dear gods she missed Virginia. 322 years, 6 months, 11 days later, and not once as she seen her cousin's or best friends souls. But of course, she'd need to find a child of Hades or Thanatos to do that. There was also Zoe. She was the only one to survive the South African Slaughter other than Sarah. And now, Sarah was all alone. Just her and Lady Artemis.
Than her thoughts drifted to the lead hunter, some 15 year old punk named Anna Salion. You would think that the head huntress would be the 468 year old that became a maiden not because a of one pig, but because she was recruited by Virginia and Artemis both. And some one who was raised to be a hunter! Sarah Mae was raised with the land, by the land, and known nothing but the land. She's seen the world in it's prime and its worst. And, in case you haven't heard it enough, Sarah Mae was 465 years old!
"Ehawee," Sarah Mae nearly fell out of the tree with this high, childlike word. And she did. Right into the arms of a small girl, no more than ten, with skin the color of milk chocolate and the most curly hair you will ever see. "Lady Artemis--" said the girl getting clumsily out of Artemis's arms. "Forgive me, Mistress. You needed me?" The goddess laughed at her. Like a mother would be a child after that child has done something idiotic. "No, my child, forgive me. I should not of scared you while in a tree. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you to take the huntresses to the half-blood camp. The girls need a little socialization and a few new recruits wouldn't hurt." "Yes, my lady." 'Yes!' Was all Sarah Mae thought She loved going to Camp Half-Blood! Plus they always have to pass the place were her colony and tribe was all those centuries ago. It gave her a chance to pay her respects to her family and Virginia.
  [[Kinda sucky. I'll do better.]]

☭Ѧnna Ӎarie Ϩalion➸ Anna woke up to the sounds of chirping birds. For some reason no matter where they went, there were birds that always comforted Anna. Just their songs had her comforted knowing though her life has change, music was there. You are everything I need to see / Smile and sunlight makes her way to me / Love incarnate looking into me / Breaths of moonlight washing over me / Can I show you what you are for me? / Angel of mine, can I thank you? / You have saved me time and time again / Angel, I must confess / It's you that always gives me strength / And I don't know where I'd be without you She sung to herself as she got up and went outside. She smiled at the wolves as she climbed a tree.

Melony paused in her drawing as she began to hear movement in the camp. Looking to Morrigan she gave a silent question with her eyes, Do you suppose we're moving today? The wolf simply nodded and licked her cheek, "I do. Let's get back before the others think you'v deserted them." Melony chuckled and stood, brushing off her pants and sliding her sketchbook back into her bag, "Now why on Earth would I ever do that? It's not as if I have anywhere else to go. Besides, I love it here. It's home." Her voice held just the slightest hint of her native, lilting accent. Sounding almost like a 1850's Southern Belle, her country accent was all she really had left of her past, aside from Morrigan and the yellowed, aged photo of her dad. The two headed back towards camp, chuckling as they pushed and shoved one another. It wasn't uncommon for them to horseplay and wrestle, usually to the worry of the other Huntresses. But it was nothing different from two cubs playing, although Melony and Morrigan were usually more aggressive. Neither ever truly hurt each other, but they often came out with some scratches and bruises. This was sure to turn out to be one such incident. Even though she was over ninety years old, and Morrigan was thousands, the two never turned down a match from the other. And such a match was put into session when Morrigan swiped playfully in front of Melony's feet and attempted to trip her up. Melony laughed and jumped onto her back, and so the fight began. The two rolled through the grass, biting and shoving and slapping, mock growls turning to fits of giggles. When they hit the hill that would take them down towards camp they stopped, staring at one another in challenge. Then Melony growled and launched herself at the wolf, sending both of them tumbling down the hill and landing in a tangled heap at the bottom, out of breath and laughing. Some of the other Huntresses gazed at the two in amusement, while some looked in agitation. But Melony couldn't care less what most of the others thought of her. She was having fun, and that's all there was to it. Even though she was relatively old, she still had that spark that could label her almost like a child. She shoved Morrigan off of her and bumped her forehead against the wolf's, "You crazy dog. Can't believe you jumped me." Morrigan laughed and pounced on her young charge again, "Me? Wasn't it you just sent us down the hill?"well ι тooĸ α wαlĸ αroυɴd тнe world тo eαѕe мy тroυвled мιɴd ι leғт мy вody lyιɴɢ ѕoмewнere ιɴ тнe ѕαɴdѕ oғ тιмe вυт ι wαтcнed тнe world ғloαт тo тнe dαrĸ ѕιde oғ тнe (мooɴ) ι ғeel тнere ιѕ [ɴoтнιɴɢ] ι cαɴ do..... ___________αятємιѕ' нυηтяєѕѕ

☭Ѧnna Ӎarie Ϩalion➸ Anna decided to shoot some archery for practice. So she hopped down from her tree and headed back to her tent. There she grabbed her bow and arrows. She thne headed back to her tree, and started to drawback the string. Then she turned around a pointed her bow at one of the girls. Susan! What have I told you about sneaking up on me? The girl yelped. I'm sorry, Anna. Anna smiled and told her it was alright. Anna had no temper really and held only a few grudges.

Melony laughed again and shoved her friend off of her, standing up and brushing off her pants. She looked around briefly and spotted Ehaw- Er, Sarah Mae (Melony had known her before she was Sarah) and the Lady Artemis. Without further ado she trotted over, boots thumping quietly on the soft ground as she called out in her gentle voice, "Sarah Mae! Lady Artemis! Good morning to you!" She stepped up to them and bowed to each, respectful of Artemis' divinity and Sarah Mae's age. Morrigan did the same, saying in her smooth, quiet voice, "Good day to you both." Melony straightened from her bow and smiled into both of their eyes. She truly loved them both, although Sarah Mae hardly ever showed any affection back, but that was just the way she was. Melony supposed when you lived for so long, you saw things that would make you a tad bitter. Not that Melony thought the elder Huntress was bitter... Alright, who was she kidding, she thought she was a little bitter. She looked at the Lady Artemis as she straightened her jacket and picked a few leaves out of her mass of blonde curls, "So, where to today, mi'lady? Down to the river? Or perhaps across the fields?" well ι тooĸ α wαlĸ αroυɴd тнe world тo eαѕe мy тroυвled мιɴd ι leғт мy вody lyιɴɢ ѕoмewнere ιɴ тнe ѕαɴdѕ oғ тιмe вυт ι wαтcнed тнe world ғloαт тo тнe dαrĸ ѕιde oғ тнe (мooɴ) ι ғeel тнere ιѕ [ɴoтнιɴɢ] ι cαɴ do..... ___________αятємιѕ' нυηтяєѕѕ

☭Ѧnna Ӎarie Ϩalion➸ Anna had enough with target practice, so she set her bow upon her back, and headed out to the fields. She weaved through the tall grass, it tickling her skin, so she giggled as she walked. She spotted Melony, Sarah Mae and Artemis. Lady Artemis, Sarah Mae, and Melony. How are you three today? She asked, bowing to Artemis for her divinity, then to Melony and Sarah Mae for their ages. She trusted her life to these three and she respected them for that. Plus they were like her family.
