On some anime site I found, I will post the link up later, when I find it. It said that Warner Bros. were interested in remaking the DN movies in Japan with American actors. Also they mentioned that they might considered Zac Efron to play Light. I know how you guys might feel like WTF or *facepalm*. For some reason I think he could be a good Light and the craziness well or that just me. I am thinking about other actors they could choose. I have no idea how they are going to do L, and who will play him, that's the tricky part. So what do you guys think? biggrin

I heard about the whole American DN and Zac Effron thing and I actually think it'd be pretty cool. Even though I don't like Zac Effron that much he'd probably make a good Light. The only thing I'm concerned about is that you might get all his fans turning up because he's in it and it might become popular for the wrong reasons and people will only like those movies and not even know about the original Japanese one's or the anime and manga.
But other than that it doesn't sound too bad

I Think Its A Good Idea Except For Zac Efron Playing Light. I Dont Think He Could Be That Twissted And Demented At All And His Fans Will Get All Over It For The Wrong Reason. They Should Get All Less Known Actors Because Then The True DN Fans Will Be The Ones To Watch It. { Not To Mention The Friends We Drag Along } I Think It Would Be A Really Good Movie Series-Thingy If It Went To Theater Because Its So Suspensful And Wierd And People LOVE THAT! heart

It might be good. It depends on who the director is though. Need a good one to get the feeling of the anime so to speak.

if your talking about another deathnote u gotta mix all the things we love about the manga and anime into a epic face off between multiple awesome animes then make it into a movie, but L wins this time
