I'm nervous today because I have a big test tomorrow morning.. >.<;; and than hopefully things will fall into place with this whole college stuff.
And I'm stressing out because my boss told me yesterday that I have to give him at least 25 to 30 hours of work time this winter or he'll have to find a replacement for me... (good luck with that stare ) I have no idea what my class scheduled is going to look like, but someone from my work told him I was going full time. SO he was pretty much telling me that if I go full time to school that I need to find another job (if possible) because he doesn't want to pay me for 10 hours.... screw him. I'll only work Bonnie's (my bf mom) days off then he can suck it. Anyway.. I was sorta almost fired yesterday and I thought I'd be ok with it, but they way he said it bugged me a lot.
Thanks for reading and that is what's up with me sweatdrop . ps I need to find a really cheap place to live out by the school this spring if not sooner. I don't know if I want to deal with driving back and forth...

You problems are greater than mine, but here is what I am worried about:
HIGH SCHOOL.
Its coming. Its freaking me out a little. This next year is when everything counts, and my dad says that if I don't do well enough I'll never get a good job. And he keeps muttering about "wasted potential'...my past teachers all say my middle name is potential. cry

not to rain on anyones parade, but how well you do in high school has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on job prospects. i exist as living proof of that.
however you should do as well as you can anyway because schooling gets considerably more expensive or considerably harder depending on what you do after it.

yeah I agree don't stress about little stuff. You will do amazing all through high school and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! When I got out of high school I didn't go straight to college, I started a job.... that really doesn't require a college graduate, let alone a high school diploma. So you will be able to find a job out there somewhere. oh and I got accepted at SMCC this morning!

congrats!!! lol
well, school can get stressful but if you really put your mind to it, it can be something enjoyable. Im in a little pickle myself about school. I decided to go off with a guy that has a 2 year old girl and im a keeper lol but i really want to go to a college back at home. If i do go to it, itd be too far for me and him to be together. He is trying to get me to go to a colege near where he lives but, my parents wont be there to help support me.

Wow that's tough. Is there a way your parents could send you money? And what about FAFSA? (Financial Aid For Student Assistance) If you have it where your from. Not sure if it works for all states.

its all good. Im going home this saturday. So im gonna be getting ready with supplies and stuff for school. Im excited to start it. Though my boyfriend is feeling the opposite way :l

Right! They have to understand that education is necessary and that if they are nervous of us meeting other guys, they really need to trust and know that we are going there just to learn ... and party lol

BWAHAHAHAHA I dropped outta Highschool and became a Mad Genius!! I personally don't think they teach you anything except how to regurgitate useless information onto a dumb test so they can categorize you and label you. If you truly want to learn anything do it of your own interest and initiative!! Although having that dumb piece of paper for getting all the way through the gauntlet will be useful in some minor respects. heart
