Kaito was a warrior class angle created by his Deity and served as one of the Elite Seven for thousands of years until he mistakenly allowed a demon to live after coming in contact with one. Angelic laws stated that any angel who came in contact with a demon was to kill it or suffer dire consequences. Because of his actions his Deity sentenced him to death by beheading by one of the other Elites but before they could carry out his sentence Kaito fled from the heavens becoming a fallen angel. He lived amongst humans for years until he heard rumors of a school for those with "special" abilities, people like him in a way. After some extensive research he was finally able to locate and enroll in the school which is where he stays now.
