Emperor Ranloff IV stood from his seat and surveyed the contestants.
"You are all here for the same reason..." the bright orange, round, avian sovereign bellowed, squinting at the small figures and their transports below.
"You have all heard that my kind are capable of granting the wishes of any we deem worthy. Those of you who have gathered here intend to compete in the Ranloff Games, in order to prove yourselves worthy to me. Because we only hold the Ranloff Games every fifty years, it is needless to say that this is a sought after opportunity." he paced a little and raised a wing of feathers tipped deep purple.
"The Games consist of Ten difficult tasks that must be performed before any other contestant successfully does so. The first to succeed the task, wins that round. At the end of each round, all remaining contestants will be summoned back here, on Fithri, to receive their next task." The feathered ruler turned back towards the contestants.
"While fair play is encouraged, it is by no means mandatory. Each contestant may use any tools, assistance, or methods at their disposal." at this point mumbling could be heard from the onlookers.
"At this point, I would like each contestant and team of contestants to identify themselves..."

Brief Histroy- Korey is the daughter of Shakeem, a Pirate Lord on her homeworld. She's recently turned 200, marrying age for her kind, and she is to be wed to the son of a rival pirate lord. Unwilling to marry someone she didn't love she convinced both fathers to let her fly in these games and if she wins she will be free to live as she chooses. Their only condition was that her betrothed came too.
