Okay, not many know what a LSO cookie is let alone how to get rid of them. Hiryo knows but for sake of saving time I am going to post about this little boogers here. For those who do not know what a LSO is, it is basically a flash cookie a.k.a super cookie and one you can NOT delete or remove by cleaning your web history or disk clean up. These cache cookies come from Adobe Macromedia- a rather disgraceful thing it is. these tracer cookies go on your pc and you can not remove them by normal means. And even more so they are NOT needed PERIOD. They do not make logs or anything else. Mainly to track and send data back and forth. They get stored on your pc without you knowing it. =/ You can change the macromedia settings here http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html Now that I got that out of the way. If you want to know more of these bad boys, google them up a bit and you will see. Now for the following Hiryo will tell you how to stop these LSOs from being stored on your PC and how to remove them. They DO impact PC internet performance. Very minut but they do. And take hard drive space.

Ah.... the evil LSOs..... Now how do we get rid of this nasty things eh? Well, the best way is to actually stop them from being added to your CPU in the first place. But no matter what you can not block or stop all of them because some go into hidden directories and paths not of the internet folders compacted on your pc.... So... We will stop most of them at first. Also if you are a Internet Explorer user please stop using it and get Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, or Pale Moon. Okay... For Mozilla users such as Firefox and Pale Moon this will make things better. Considering they are indeed better then Chrome. First off is using the right add ons to stop these LSOs... The main add on you would want it is BetterPrivacy. It is a add on that deletes all LSOs that go into the macromedia folder BUT you need to set the settings of it first. After installing this wonderful add on open up your add ons and open up betterprivacy. then go to options&help. There you can change the settings for this. Make the delete flash cookies on exit circle marked. Next option is delete flash cookies on start. have it checked. Next is delete flash cookies by timer. Have it checked. The box next to it no. Put the timer to one second. have the delete flashplayer default cookie box checked along with deleting the empty folders. Do NOT check the box for notifications. This impacts pc performance. Check the auto delete DOMs and the disable ping tracking. There. You are done with this add on. ^_^ That should set you up to delete most LSOs you get. But.. not all. Using Ccleaner can also remove these LSOs. it is a free program that is actually very good to have. But if you are a Pale Moon user Ccleaner does not work for you. You need the add on Click&Clean. It is the same thing as Ccleaner. I will later at another time post another segment here about LSOs. For now this should do. if you have any questions please feel free to post in this forum or PM me. ^_^
