Personality:Jade is rather enigmatic. He is sarcastic and witty, perhaps even to the point of cruelty. Jade has a snide, sarcastic response to even the most serious subjects, and loves to tease his companionsJade's sarcastic and harsh words are often well-founded, and he uses them to express his often disapproving opinions. Other than amusement, Jade rarely shows any sign of his emotions. However, occasionally he loses his composure and his emotions burst out. The subject of fomicry in particular is a sore spot for Jade, as it reminds him of his past sins,Fomicry is the replication of mass through the use of fonons,an energy based atom that was founded on his homeland,Perhaps because he is very adept at masking his deepest thoughts and feelings, Jade is often able to see through others when they try to hide things.espite often being able to see the secrets of others, Jade does not reveal their secrets until the time is right.Jade always seems to be several steps ahead of the rest of the party. He hardly ever appears shocked, and always has a complex and lengthy explanation behind many of the events that stun the party. He appears to enjoy pushing the group in the right direction, letting them think they are filling in the gaps of what they experienced, when he might have discovered the answer long before the question appeared.

Unlike any teacher before her, Professor Nebilim shared an important bond with her students, and treated them like the children she never had. If there was something bothering them, she would step in and try to help.
After the arrival of Jade Curtiss as a young boy, Professor Nebilim felt the boy´s twisted mind of a mad scientist with no ability to distinguish the guilt or the pleasure of taking a life for smaller it was. She changed his heart however, and put him to develop his Fomicry methods towards a better cause.
All was happiness, until the night when Jade attempted to use a fonic arte using a forbidden Art and it got out of control. The resulting explosion saw Professor Nebilim catching alight and almost dying. took the wounded Professor to the outskirts of the Town, where Jade decided to use Fomicry to save the life of his beloved professor by using the process in a Fonic Arte.
The result was a success, but with a slight error from the stage of Fomicry research. The Replica Nebilim was a monster, on the hunt to satisfy her hunger for Light and Dark Fonons
The first thing she did was to go in a killing rampage by taking the life of several Fonists in the region, to devour their First and Sixth Fonons. Following these events, the Empire declared a state of emergency in which its Army went all out against the rampaging monster. it was finally subdued and was hidden form public eye.
Tales of the abyss
Tales of the Abyss takes place on Auldrant, a planet composed of elementary particles called Fonons. For much of Auldrant's history, only six fonons were known to exist, representing the elements of Shadow, Earth, Wind, Water, Fire and Light; but eventually a seventh fonon, Sound, is discovered. Its discovery brings great chaos: using this newest Seventh Fonon allows one to read the future. One such Seventh Fonist, Yulia Jue, puts in place a future for the world for thousands of years to come, with the promise of unlimited prosperity at its end. This prophecy of the future's set path becomes known as the "Score" and is documented on "Fonstones" scattered throughout the world. The nations of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear and Malkuth have fought over the fragments of these tablets for generations, each uncovering them and hoping to discover the future before the other. Meanwhile, a holy order emerges dedicated to the reading of the Score and the keeping of the peace. This "Order of Lorelei" is headed by a Fon Master and maintains both religious/political and military branches. Finally, the Score and its promise of prosperity lead to a dangerous complacency within the general population of Auldrant; the slaughter of an entire people living on the island of Hod and the destruction of that landmass are countenanced because it was predicted in the Score.
