A small group comprised of Jack, Namida, Audrey, Leraldo, and Kani escape a zombie horde leaving behind their camp and their new friend Nick. Although this is hardly the first loss the group had encountered since The End, it's still felt among the crew.
Now comes the matter of finding a suitable new place to set up camp, and hopefully new survivors.

Kani wakes up and yawns, "Ugh, I needed that. My neck's been hurting since forever."

 Leraldo stretches his arms and hops out of the truck. He looks around the clearing in the forest that Namida found and nods his head. " This as good a place as any. Let's set up camp." Leraldo finds a few bedrolls in Nick's truck and tosses them onto the nearby ground. " Nick was a little too good at this survival stuff."

Audrey afraid to actually say anything watched them wondering who this Nick guy was and why he wasn't here

Leraldo stops setting up camp for a while and pauses. " Audrey, you've been quiet for a while now. You alright?"

Audrey almost jumps at the sound of her name her eyes widen but she quickly returns to her normal expression "y-yeah just thinking...you need help?" she says barely above a mumble

Kani stops and sits down, "I want my life back. I can't live like this anymore. I just want to go back."

" Sure, Audrey. Just set up these other bedrolls and we'll be set." Leraldo looks over to Kani. " What was you life like before... whatever happened happened?"

Audrey nods obediently as she does what he says looking around her as she does so jumping at any loud noise as she listens to their conversation

 Namida got out of the truck, stretching. A bright light flashed, blinding everyone momentarily. A black cat appeared in her place. She meowed and then padded towards a tree. Namida climbed the tree and kept a look out, making sure no one was approaching while the others set up camp.

" Stange..." Leraldo lies down on one of the bedrolls and looks up at Namida. " If you see or hear anything, just let us know. We should probably scout for food, we're running out. Have uh... Have any of you been hunting before?"

Audrey heard him say hunting "Hunting?" she said remembering how she used to go

Leraldo goes into the truck and sets up his holster with his pistol and the M16. " We passed a lot of deer during the last 15 minutes of the drive, shouldn't be that long of a walk." Nick grabs Audrey's sniper and hands it to her. " But just to be safe, we should probably stick together."
