Flaque city has a very big pest problem and have called out for beast hunters. A rare species of lizard has infested the streets and sewers. They don't want to kill the rare Kragile lizards, just get rid of them. The city is paying 20,000$ per lizard. Flaque is in dire need of help and will pay anyone for bringing a lizard to town hall to be released elsewhere.
A few hunters are on a bullet train headed for Flaque. Two of which had to share a room do to a lack of rooms reserved for hunters. One, a strange out of place viking and the other a lost looking puppy. The viking had shown up first and volunteer his room for more company.

Fyria sat on the train looking out the window. The methodical "ka-thunk, ka-thunk" was kind of relaxing, and helped to clear her mind.
She had seen a poster advertising for a hunter as soon as she walked out of the building with her hunter's license in hand. At first she wondered if it was a good idea to take on something so direct so soon... but then she realized that she was penniless, and a few lizards didn't seem like so bad a foe.

Her older cabin mate watched for a while before speaking. "Ay, gally. Ya 'ff t' 'unt sume kagile 'n Flaque?" Hork spoke in thick words. He was clearly foreign and looked a little scary with his yellow eye, but he was smiling.

Startled out of her daze, she turned to look at her train companion. "Yeah," she said, smiling a toothy grin to attempt to cover up her nervousness, "are you heading there as well?"

"Tha' I be. M' name 's Hork Sholt's of th' Sholts clan. Ya sure yo're ready for a kragile?" Hork could sence her nervousness. He had no doubt in his mind that he'd catch more kragile then anyone else. Large lizards were his specialty.

"I'm Fyria. Fyria Valeden from the... woods," she said. She gave a nervous laugh. "What... what exactly are the Kragile lizards like?"

"Pleasure t' meet ya, Fyria. A kragile 's 'bout 12feet long, can run on its hine legs an th' male 'ave horn." He was talking about one big lizard. Kragile can grow up to 25ft long and weight up to 440lbs. They can even stand up and run. Hork streched and closed his eyes as he yawned.

Fyria's eyes widened a little, but she didn't seem to be any more nervous at the size of the lizards. She had been inspecting something smaller, but she had taken down a few creatures that size before she became a hunter. Then again, they weren't reptiles, She wasn't all that familiar with reptiles. But she was already getting into this; there was no turning back now.
"So... how long have you been a hunter?" she said, trying to take her mind off of them.

"Me, 17 y'ars. 'ow 'bout you Fyria?" Hork said as he stood up to take his bag down for something. His pants were made of animal hides, copying a popular style.

Fyria blushed a little and looked back out the window for a second before looking back at Hork and saying, "Two days."

Hork looked over at her with gyo. "Ah, so ya passed the secret exam 'lready." He said as he brought his bag. "Why not w' 'ork t'geather like?" Fyria was offered a partnership. It was a good chance to get in some training from a fellow beast hunter.

Fyria looked at him sideways and smiled. It was nice to be meeting someone this friendly. "Sure," she said, "I could definitely use a helping hand."

"J'st no kill'n 'em 's all I ask." He reached into his bag and pulled out a big roll of tap. "This be th' bees knees. We b'nd th' beasts w'th th's." Hork tossed the roll of tape into Fyria's lap. The end of the tape was folded back on itself so it could be unwond fast.
"I's hate kill'n an'mals. Th's yob requ're no dir'y deeds. So w' catch'em al've an spl't fidy, fidy." Hork said his a stout manner. They was no way he'd let anyone get away with hurting the kragile.
