Ah, but the ones in my link have been handpicked by fans for their great writing, originality, and just overall greatness. I've read about half of them already, there is no disappointment in there so far. smile

Marquise S Mindfang heylookitsmrvolcano you could always get a TVTropes account and post it up. Nah, It's fine. Haha, and I just read "You're a Wizard, Eri" on fanfiction.net, that was great. Wish it would update in more than two months though XD my personal favorite one-chapter story would have to be White Blank Page. It's just beautifully written and an interesting take on Jack Noir and the Black Queen.

None of these rec lists contain The Serendipity Gospels, all other alternate-verse fics go home.
Er, I really like The Serendipity Gospels. It's a what-if-Sburb-never-happened setting where the trolls have reached adulthood and are sent offworld for various caste-related jobs. The story is from the perspective of Terezi and Gamzee, who are stuck working together for plot reasons, but it's got really cool dynamics between a bunch of the other trolls with a big heaping side of troll society drama. Deceit and badass poker-faces, and plot twists galore. Also, there's illustrations to go with it.
And for less lengthy plot, more instant cuteness, I will buy you the flower shop and you will never be lonely (teal deer) is easily the best fluffy pale oneshot I've read in 5evar.

x Tavros Nitram x ooohhh have any of you ever read Of Honey and Clementines? I know this is an old post but... I'm totally in love with that story as well as A Lesson in Striding... I really hope we get more updates!
