My name? Dear, you should already know that my name is Khaos.

My names? Isn't one enough? In any case, I have been addressed as Khaos, the gap, the chasm, Khaeos, Chaos, and Chaeus many times in my long lifetime.

Although often described as otherwise, I am male. People try to call me a 'she' to make less (or on occasion more) of my love of Cosmos. However, for all of you, I am a male.

At this time, I prefer the form a 6'1" male. I have black hair, occasionally with a violet highlight. The color of purple has always appealed to me. I often wear a black button-down Oxford shirt, black slacks, and black oxford shoes. Sometimes, I decide to wear a violet waistcoat, buttoned closed. I keep my eyes an intense violet, the color that has long been my symbol. I keep my hair at about chin-length, and it often goes down, and flips wherever. If I must go deeper into appearances, I am very pale, and quite lean. I love deceiving appearances. People think I'm weak...I'm far from it. As the first being, I am also considered the most powerful. Sleep has given me strength and rest. Renewed, I have powers I never expected, and my smug expressions speaks of it.

I am the god of the lower atmostphere. I keep the gap between heaven and earth, and I am the one who created all of the primeval gods and goddesses. Therefore, I am the one who created the world.

Pardon. I have no parents, to be completely blunt. I was the original of the gods, and that makes me quite the parent and grandparent, and such. I was the grand creator, as it's called, so I have quite the dysfunctional family...

Although people claim that Pontos and Gaia are my siblings, I have none. You see, I created the land and the sea, so they are my children. To wrap this up, no. No siblings.

I am not entirely sure if asexual reproduction could be considered siring children, but if it is the case, I have sired Gaia, Erebus, Tartarus, Cosmos, and Nyx. Contrary to popular belief, Pontos is the child of Gaia, not myself. Therefore, I shall not be listing my grandchildren. There are simply too many to list.

There was a time long ago where I felt love for a goddess. It was when I had created the most perfect creature that had ever existed, Cosmos. I fell in love with her, and we were together for a long time. At least, until the Olympian rule began. The Titans had created humankind, and I had cast my darkness over the world at the request of Kronos so he could keep mankind in the dark of what was happening. However, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon decided that they would prefer the praise of mankind as opposed to their fear, and so they manipulated Cosmos to believe that I was evil, and she created four gems that would each hold a part of me. Cosmos has one herself, which holds my light. Hades held my darkness, Zeus my body, and Poseidon my sympathy. Breaking my darkness free of Hades...perhaps I do not love Cosmos anymore. She has simply added to my anger.

I hold personal grudges against very few in the world. However, the ones that turned my love with Cosmos sour are certainly on my dark side. Naturally, I speak of Poseidon, Zeus, and Hades. I am not entirely sure about this one, however, I believe that I have sired a hatred against my once-love, Cosmos, as well, for she believed them and her love for me was no longer as pure as she prided herself in being.

I have always enjoyed darkness in any form, as well as messing with people's emotions. Darkness gives me a solid form nowadays, and the emotions that I enjoy seeing are so easy to bring to surface. I also enjoy classical music from the old days of Greece, when men played the lyre to quiet a beast, or to serenade a woman. My children are quite dear to me, and finally, I still harbor some form of happiness at seeing Cosmos' light.

At this time, I dislike seeing the gems of Cosmos that hold my essence, the light of the world that tears my shape apart, and demigods. Demigods are foolish, but not so easy to mess with as normal humans. Unfortunately, they are trained against he manipulation that a god can throw in their face so easily. In any case, I also dislike being unable to draw upon my true form, as I haven't my body, and lastly, keeping my playful demeanor. As much as it appeals to anyone of my place to keep themselves pleasant, it is quite annoying to hold a smile in the face of everything that tends to be thrown at you.

I do not have much of a personality, anymore. Unless you consider my playful facade something that's a personality trait, anyhow. I always try to have a smile, and it is quite difficult to anger me, for I am quite passive. It is difficult for me to sympathize with humans, making me quite apathetic in the face of their misery. I am constantly amused by the stupid things that humanity feels and does. I am also very behind in the times, and confused by the advances that have been made in the last two thousand years. I have not been keeping up. I am also called twisted with how I work. Is it twisted to destroy everything in your way? I suppose it depends on how it ends and who triumphs. Isn't that how history is written? Not based on morals, but on success.

Ah. Things I have done. Well, as previously claimed, I created everything. I created the creators, and was the first to exist. I do not quite remember how I came to be. Maybe I always was. I only know that there was nothing before Khaos. I created Cosmos, and I fell in love. However, this was not to be. Gaia and Ouranos had children, Ouranos was usurped and Kronos took the throne as ruler. Then he asked me to cover the world in darkness. That was simple enough, and I did. The mortals ran scared, hiding where they could. I did not pay attention to this. Kronos fell, and it was demanded of me that I remove my dark cover from the world, but I refused. At that time, they convinced the only one I had ever loved romantically to seal me away. I was split into four parts, encased in the gems of Cosmos, and handed to four gods. The three brothers of Kronos held parts of me, and Cosmos the last part. However, my darkness was content to wait. Finally, I broke free of the onyx gem that held my darkness and of Hades. Walking amongst the shadows, I studied and learned. Finally, I decided to claim Olympus as my own. I made my way there, but the beautiful marble made me quite interested in destroying it instead. I razed half of it to the ground on the way to the throne room. I threw the Olympians from their thrones and proceeded with my plan of covering the world in darkness...

Hm. A song that I like? From today's time? Well, I suppose it would be a song that I heard when walking by somewhere playing what they call a movie with moving little hand-drawings. I think it's called "I Am Prince Charmless" from that little movie 'The Secret of Anastasia.'
