Hello and welcome to The Movie Watcher Zone again and like I said before I apologize for not doing a Green Lantern review I got caught off track, but I did see it and did not like it at all. so tonight I am going to be doing 2 reviews and the first one is Michael Bay's Transformers Dark of the Moon. The first Transformers I enjoyed a lot and it had a lot of hope to make a couple of sequel's, but the bad part was the second one Revenge of the Fallen was just so painful with too much action, product placement, and just rarely any plot at all kind of like a Duke Nukem game. Even Michael Bay admitted that his film was awful and he did promise to make it better and I held him to that when I saw it last night so does this one pull off and made it the best Transformer''s movie?

The answer is no he did not. I will give it credit that this movie is a lot better than the second one, but this one was still so awful and it makes me hate Michael Bay even more than I already do next to George Lucas and M. Night Shyamalan. This was also sometimes painful to watch which I will explain why in just a little bit. It did have some good stuff instead of Optimus unlike the second one where he was the only best part of the movie. So let's talk about all of the stuff that went wrong with the movie.

The first thing he did was while he did work on trying to have a story into it and not all action it is just the opposite of what he did and that is have way too much plot and some less action that it even made it tiring to watch half the time. the problem he had with it is that he doesn't know the right balance of story and action like he did with the first movie and if he had that balance than this movie would of been amazing. Another thing that got me a bit ticked was that you rarely see and battle between the Autobot's and Decepticon's in this whole entire movie it was just mostly the humans battling against the Decepticon's really and I thought it was Transformers and not Battle: Los Angeles where the humans would fight the alien robots. If I am gonna see a battle I expect it to mostly be Autobot's and Decepticon's. The biggest thing that did piss me off was that there was little no no of certain characters such as Megatron, Starscream, and Shockwave which really did get me angry since I thought Shockwave was going to be one of the main villains along with them, but no you get Sentinel Prime as the main villain along with some guy that really didn't explain that well. You only see all three of these characters for like less than 15 minutes out of a over two and a half hour movie and that is just messed up. Megatron was suppose to be the leader of the Decepticon's and he got reduced to just being a lackey and someone who dies in a few minutes just like Starscream. The thing about those two is that Starscream and Megatron normally do fight one another in most of the Transformers shows and in this one they are still close together and they both died very quickly and Starscream didn't die by Megatron so again it was just lame. Also I gotta get this off my chest when the hell is Bumble Bee going to get his voice fixed, I mean they did it around the end of the first movie and somehow it is still broken!? Also the fact that this movie did have a little bit of too much comedy in there around the first half of the movie which you mostly saw in the second one and I tried so hard not to leave. Also the story of not having Unicron involved was a disappointment. One more thing that got me a little pissed was that Shia LaBeouf is just god awful in this movie he is just this whiny little b***h that just wants to feel important since he feels that he did a lot in the last two movies which he really didn't and all of the scenes of him looking for a job was really unneeded and I would of cut that first forty five minutes of Shia LaBeouf being this very annoying and useless character and all of the comedy scenes were just painful also, but I am happy they got rid of those two stereotype Autobots from the last piece of garbage.

Spoiler warning

Well now that I got the ranting off of my chest I did like a few things in this movie and that's not really saying something. Again Optimus Prime was still the best character in this entire movie, he is always amazing to watch specially in the second movie where he was just this awesome bad-a** and he still shows that in this and one and at the end you think he would feel bad for killing Sentinel at the end, but no he just told him he betrayed himself and just shot him right there, he is awesome to watch and will always be the best Autobot. The only epic part of this whole entire movie was the last half hour to forty five minutes of the film during that last big battle you see in the movie. this one not only had great action, but it did have some type of drama that would see in a war movie and this one worked so perfect with it which I am not going to give away as it is the only thing worth seeing.

My final sum up is that this movie is just as bad as the second one, but a little bit better and not by much. Michael Bay should really just stop making Transformers. If this was known as the last movie than this seriously needs a reboot ASAP.
