Hey everyone,
So as some of you may have seen, I am pulling together a ''Jumanji Meets DnD'' concept campaign. Where everything that happens is because of the roll of the dice. I'm working on 100 scenarios total that can happen (there have been slow times for this..) and I'm wanting to bring the description of these ideas here.
If you have a moment, please take a look at what I have Italicized and let me know how you would feel as a Player about them. Also in turn, how is the wording as a DM?

First written description:
The ground beneath your feet softly begins to tremble and you soon realize that something is forming from deep underground. Your sense of balance is challenged and you feel it hard to stand as the shaking becomes more intense. Looking down you begin to notice that there are cracks beginning to form near your feet and what appears to be crooked roots spring up accompanied by withered leaves as wide trunks and overgrowth abruptly and violently spring up around you. Within seconds you find yourself in a small clearing surrounded by collection of tall and sinister trees. They have taken fragments of the surrounding stationary objects that were once on the ground into the branches high up with them. Large round objects that are hard to discern as fruit cling to the branches in sparse clumps. The trunk of the trees is a dusky, macabre color that brings you discomfort, reminding you of screaming faces frozen in solitary anguish. The creaking of the swaying wide branches sound pained and moan with an unsettling sound. They seem quiet and content in looming sentient heights, satisfied with the dark ambiance they bring to your surroundings.

A plume of mist rises from the central glass piece of the game board. The mist swirls around the area and your party until a thick, blanketing fog settles upon your surroundings as far as you can see. You begin to hear a clanking from what sounds like all around you, like footsteps drawing nearer. As the form of a withered and brown figure with a suite made of bones and a helmet that is a skull of some strange ape-like creature. Through the snarling teeth of the headpiece, pair of dark, empty eyes peer out at the party. Under the crook of one arm the warrior bares a thin book with a golden book mimicking the Jumanji’s front. Accompanying it on either side is a pair of red skinned bipeds with bright green eyes and reptilian skin. Four arms on each body hold a piercing weapon of cruel making. The three look towards the party and the corpse-like being in the center steps forth and begins to speak.
