Shadow was drop off in front of the house. The delivery men knocked on the door for her, as she couldn't see where it was to do it herself, and then left her standing there.

Shadow moved her head side to side as if looking around but really she was listening for any sounds bouncing off of anything to get a feel for what the house was like.
