There is a long feild where about 12 targets are set up. You can practice your archery here. You can often find Children of Apollo here and well as Huntresses when they stay at camp.

Skylar walked to the archery range with her bow in hand and arrows on her back. How can this place ever be home? Skylar thought as she shot arrow after arrow. I never had a true place to call home and here when everyone is a stranger that doesn't help either. Before she knew it she had run out of arrows and had to pull them out of the target. But she shot one with a lot of power and when she pulled it out the whole target fell over. "F***. Just perfect," Skylar muttered angrily to herself. Things never seem to get better don't they. At least I don't have it as bad as that other chick, thought Skylar.

Raizya bounded over to the archery range with a borrowed bow and arrow and saw Skylar. "Hey! New girl!" she called, waving a hand above her head to get Skylar's attention.

Alex walked to the archery range, golden long bow in hand, quiver on his back. His short sword was sheathed on his back, under the quiver and with the hilt protruding over his left shoulder.. On his chest and at wast throwing knives were sheathed. On his right arm was a double bow and arrow tattoo. He drew an arrow from the quiver, set it to the string of his bow and drew the string until the fletching of the arrow touched his ear. He sighted down the shaft and released the string, sending the arrow into the center of the target he was aiming. Only then did he notice Skylar and, grinning mischievously, he sent another arrow at the wooden frame that held the target she had pulled down, hitting it just above her shoulder.

Raizya frowned when somebody almost hit Skylar, located the source, and dragged the boy responsible over to the archer to apoligiuse. "I don't know who you think you are, but at this camp, we do not almost skewer each other. Say you are sorry to her so that I can hurry up and do the same." >:0

Alex laughed when the girl told him to apologize. ""I know how things work around here," he said. "And I also know that I'm a good enough archer not to hit her." He slipped away from them, grabbing his arrow. "I'll apologize if you can beat me in a little contest. Three arrows each. Whoever gets the most arrows closest to the center wins."

Skylar turned toward Raizya. "Thanks. Don't worry about the contest. I can handle it. I may be new, but one thing that I don't need help with is kicking someone's a**. So," Skylar said as she turned her attention to the boy who tried to shoot her head off her shoulders."You said that you wanted to have a contest on who can shoot three arrows closest to the center. I accept your challenge. Tell me when you want to meet up. I'll be here. Sounds like a plan?"

"I'll let you decide the time," Alex said, grinning. "Take as much practice time as you need." He wasn't being cocky, as most people would think, but he wanted to have a challenge in the contest.

"I've seen your aim," Raizya said to Skylar. "I don't doubt it. And sorry about what happened in the Forest, I was just really worried that somebody was going to get hurt, and one of my friends did, so I freaked. So...yeah, sorry. Have fun showing up this loosah," she said quickly, running away once she had.

James Heliotrope James walked onto the archery and looked on the straw targets. He shook his head, placing a palm to his forehead. "Why didn't I stay with the trolls." he walked off, and would return dragging three half silhouette targets over on a chain from the armory. he set them up at 100, 200 and 300 yards from the firing line, and wrapped the chain around his bare and tattooed right arm. "That's better."

Raizya arrived at the range and frowned when she saw somebody had moved the targets. They were set up not for a bunch of different people, but for one person; that wasn't fair. So she took the time to drag them back to their original spots.

Skylar walked to the Archery Range and stood in front of a target, amazed at how stupid and blind she had been. She went and stood in front of the target and just sat on the grass in front of it. She knew it wasn't a good idea but she didn't care at the moment. She was too shocked with herself. " I am such and idiot!" She yelled out to herself, not caring if anyone heard her. "How could I have been so blind?! I need all the practice I can get!" Skylar got back up and walked some distance away from the target and starting practicing her shooting with as much accuracy as possible. She was shooting with such aim that the arrows nearly split each other in half as they land in the target, dead center.

"Thanks, but I am going to need a lot more practice than I have now because it completely skipped my mind that the dude, Alex, that I'm going up against in my contest is my own sibling! In the Apollo cabin! And this is not the first time he's been at this camp! I am so screwed! To think I was so confident. I'll just have to my best won't I?"
