Before Starting Your Quest If you're thinking about starting a quest, there are a few things you should know first.
-Know the storyline before you even think about applying. A storyline is what will generally happen during the quest, where you will go, what obstacles you will face, etc. Don't rush into it blindly, or else it might be a failure of a quest.
-Make the quest practical. You can't make a quest where you have to go to the center of the earth to kill some lava monster. That's un-doable, and won't be accepted.
-When you're thinking of the storyline, don't plan on making it longer than a couple weeks to complete it. At the moment, we only allow three quests at a time, so others may be waiting their turn after you. It would be unfair to make them wait a year for you to finish your quest.

During Your Quest To apply for a quest, go to the sticky called "Quest Suggestions." More details are in that thread. Once your quest is accepted, there are some rules that need to be upheld. -The quest prophecy and list of campers attending will be the first post in your quest thread.
-The quest will start and end at Half-Blood Hill.
-Gods are allowed to post in the thread, whether they wish to help or hurt the quest. The only campers allowed to post are those attending.
-Seeing as it is a quest, and not regular roleplaying, the standards are much higher. Each person posting in the quest thread must write at least 275 - 300 words. Failure to do this and the username breaking this rule will have their character kicked off, with another asked to take their place.
-The quest author, who is also the quest leader, is the storyteller of the quest. All members contribute to the story, but the author thinks of major events that will happen. If a member wishes for something to happen that could effect the storyline, please consult the quest author first.
**All members of the quest are allowed to post in regular roleplaying forums while on the quest. However, their posts may not mention anything that will/has happened on the quest until it has completely finished. If you have any questions, you may ask them here.
