To make it fair, Capture the Flag is a bit of a game.

First of all, when I announce that there will be a new game, the first cabin that applies will play as the leading cabin against the winner of the last game. Winners will be announced in the first post of each game below everything. Other teams will sign up EVENLY under the two leading teams. All of this is announced in the OOC thread. Finally, I will start a new thread in this subforum.

You will NOT be godmoding. We are going to have a dice-game. You will roll the 100-sided dice. Everything is a 50-50 chance. If you get above the amount of 50, you have cleared that obstacle. Here are the chances you take:

Less Than 50:
Finding an Opponent (ALWAYS; NPC Battle)
Allowing Someone Across Zephony Creek
Allowing Someone to Your Flag
Allowing Someone By You With Your Flag
Allowing Someone Back Across Zephony Creek

More Than 50:
Getting Across Zephony Creek
Finding the Flag
Getting the Flag
Getting Back Across Zephony Creek

You MUST roll the 100-sided dice before anything. You arrive at Zephony Creek; roll the dice before you can cross. Your next post is you crossing and heading toward the flag. You MAY NOT post again until 3 other campers have posted.

NPC Battles


When you roll less than 50, you are encountered by an NPC from the opposite team. NPC's are Non-Player Characters, which means you control them and they control you. You MUST go back and edit your post after your dice roll. Each NPC has 100 HP, and you may ONLY use a 20-sided die against them. It takes time, and you need to take time. You may not post again in your battle until another three posts have been made. When your battle ends, you switch back to the 100-sided die and continue on your way. You may NOT blow through everything before rolling your dice.

Those with the Flag: You may STILL get into an NPC battle. You have to wait for the guards of the flag to post that they haven't noticed you when you found it, and that they haven't stopped you when you get it. Once you're in the clear, you must go back to Zephony Creek, which means you can still get into an NPC battle. If you get into an NPC battle, YOU HAVE LOST THE FLAG. Your teammates can come in and grab it, but if no one on your team across Zephony Creek has managed to take the flag by the time your battle has ended, YOU HAVE TO GO BACK.

Team Cooperation


Not EVERYONE is going to be finding the flag and taking it back. Only ONE person can take the flag back. If they encounter a battle, you may take the flag IF you roll above 50 on a 100-sided die. Not everyone is going to be crossing Zephony Creek. There will be campers staying behind to guard their half of the forest. Organize this all together with your team in the OOC thread, titled "#1 Capture the Flag Red/Blue Team Planning".
