A nice area to relax for most campers underneath the basking sun as you see many Poseidon and Triton kids running amuck in the water. There’s a long strip of sand as waves crash into it and retreat. It’s a great spot for tanning. Rocky areas are near where lots of kids perch up top the rocks and enjoy the fair breeze that Aeolus brings in.

It was a nice, warm day at the beach. The sun was shining fairly and the seas were calm. On one of the larger of the beach rocks Sigrun sat down, her arms tucked under her head as she lay on the rock, a smile spread gently on her face. Sigrun, a natural with directions and the like, saw the beach soon after she came to camp. With no friends, no known siblings, and nothing to do Sigrun came down to enjoy some peace and quiet and the effects of the sea.
The rock Sigrun lay on was almost circular, but with a rather horozontal top perfect for resting on. It was fairly free of sand and could provide shade if one lay on the side of it. It was perfect and as soon as Sigrun saw it she claimed it as her own or at least reserved it for her use when she felt like comming and no one else was on it. Sigrun gave a contented sigh to herself and streached, her legs dangeling off the side comfortably. No boring teachers, no rules I feel like breaking.... Sigrun sighed again, This is the life!

Nathaniel walked briskly to the beach, wondering what effects a head injury had on a person when not treated properly. He hummed Chopin as he went, noticing a girl laying on a rock. As usual, he ignored her, not one to approach. He put a foot in the water and smiled, feeling at peace with himself, more than usual anyways. One of the perks of being Poseidon's son - ocean water could heal almost any injury. He walked deeper and deeper into the water until it reached his chin, in which case he swam to the bottom of the ocean, taking off his bandages as he went. Seeing as it was an injury to the head, he stayed down there for a good fifteen minutes, watching the fish and and other marine life as he tried not to move too much. The redhead swam to the surface when he felt that he was healed enough, running a hand through his untidy red hair, perfectly dry.

Paris Lee walked onto the sands of the Atlantic ocean. It's so much warmer here than in Alaska. New York is mind blowingly large, there are no stars, the sun is peony, all there is in the sky is haze and, this is the part she cant get over, it's summer and it's dark out at night. What the heck is that about? She can't even sleep because of the lack of light. If it was winter she could probably handle it more, but in summer it's just stupid. And The Aurora Borealis isn't there and that's just... Ugh!
Paris sat down on the sand and but her hands in the unfortunately warm water. I hate New York. Paris thought. I hate New York. I wanna go back to Alaska.

Before Sigrun could say "company" the beach had caught hold of two other campers. Sigrun pushed herself up and watched as a silent-yet-strong redhead went for a miacle dip in the ocean and another girl pouted and sat down on the sticky sands. Shutting her eyelids half-way, Sigrun looked at the two. The boy looked like he was in a terrible mood. He didn't stop to say anything to Sigrun but he seemed like the ocean was his home turf. Sigrun smiled to herself as she pegged the kid as a son of the sea god, Poseidon. He was healed by the sea water, came out of the water reliativly happy, and he didn't have a single droplet of water on his cloths. I seriously wish that would happen to me Sigrun thought to herself as she then turned her gaze to the other camper.
The female camper looked like the exact opposite of the redhead. She looked miserable. Nothing a little chat can't sort out... Sigrun thought as she slid a short way down the side of the rock and walked over to the blond girl, "Hey there! Why so glum?" Sigrun asked as she held her hands on her hip playfully, "You're expression says that you don't like the sunny, sunny beaches here. What's wrong?" Sigrun held out her left hand for a hand-shake, winking comically as she did so, "The name's Sigrun Fortescue. I take it you're new to camp?"

Paris heard a girl call for who she guessed was her. She looked over at the person who spoke and she smiled. "Just to opposite." Paris said with a smile. "It's not sunny enough and the water's to warm." She added, looking back in the direction of the Atlantic. Paris took Sigrun's hand in hers. "I'm Paris. And yeah." She said with smile, flashing her braces. "I'm from Alaska. Anchorage, Alaska."

Nathaniel stifled a yawn as he swam back to the shore, noticing two girls talking not too far away. Next stop: bed. He glanced upward and noticed something black flying towards. He smiled, having no doubt that it was a pegasus come to visit. The redhead settled himself on the very edge of the beach, not bothered at all by being splashed in the tide. It was ... refreshing. He heard hooves alight next to him and saw that the pegsus that had come by happened to be Aces, Nathan's favorite. He was darker than midnight and had a mane and hooves whiter than snow. The reason he had named him "Aces" was because of a white spot between his eyes that looked strangely like an ace of spades. "Yo, what up, boss?" "Ah, not much. Just came down to heal a head injury, is all." He could have sworn the pegasus chuckled. "'Course you did. No social visits for you. How'd you get hurt?" Nathaniel looked away into the water, determined not to blush. "I, ah, pinned Apollo up against the wall." Aces snorted. "Could have been a lot worse." "I know."

Sigrun whistled as she heard the girl was from somewhere so far away. Anchorage was way too far away for Sigrun to hope to visit at the moment, but from how the girl reacted to the beach it seemed like a wierd place to live. Sigrun was now under the impression that it was sunnier than the beach and colder than everywhere else she'd ever been to."Dang!" Sigrun said, laughing slightly at the thought of swimming at an Alaskan beach in snow gear, "That's quite a distance to come and I see you've a predicament on you're hands!" Taking her hand back and putting it on her waist, Sigrun looked at the ocean and then went back to Paris, "So what's it like up there in Alaska, hrm? Besides cold and bright that is!" Sigrun paused, "Oh yeah, I frogot to ask, have you been claimed by you're godly parent yet? It's always fun to ask and tell." Sigrun winked again as she sat next to Paris, "My dad's Hermes"
Although pleased to be talking to Paris Sigrun couldn't help but notice the redhead from before sitting a little ways off next to a flying horse. Okay, note to self: Kids of the sea god get lots of cool bonuses. And horses. Sigrun always wanted a horse. Sure the school where she went had a stable, but she always seemed to be mucking the stalls instead of riding the animals inside of them. Sigrun smiled and inclined her head towards the boy, "Is it just me or is he talking to the horse?"

Nathaniel didn't pay too much attention to the conversation between the two girls, contenting himself with the pegasus beside him. "What are you doing here then?" he asked after a moment, the tide smacking him in the face as he spoke. As it retreated, the light smile on the boy's face was replaced with a grimace. Aces chuckled. "Just came to check up on you. And make sure you don't go getting into trouble." Nathaniel's eyes widened as he glanced at him, the very picture of pure innocence. "What trouble could I get into?" The pegasus snorted, grounding his hoof in the sand. "Did you not just pin a god up against the wall? That's the definition of trouble." There was a moment of silence before Aces stiffened, his nose in the air, looking highly offended. "I am not a horse. I am a pegasus. There's a difference." Nathaniel cocked his head slightly, raising an eyebrow. "Who are you talking to again?" The dramaqueen, or maybe dramahorse, pointed a snowy white hoof in Sigrun's direction, refusing to say anymore.

Paris laughed at Sigrun's reaction. This girl is extremely friendly. She thought. And talkative. "Alaska is only the place to be if you can handle the cold and can sleep even if the sun is beating down on your window." Paris said in response to Sigrun's question. "And you can't be afraid of bears." She added with a smile and pushed her sandy blonde bangs out of her eyes.
When Sigrun asked her if her godly parent had claimed her, she just shook her head. "Nope." Paris said as she sat down. "And Hermes is the traveler god right? Sorry, but the only form of Greek mythology I've had was that Disney movie Hercules."
Sigrun looked to a dude standing quite a good distance away from them. When she asked her if he was talking to a horse rooked over at him. Was he? That's just weird. "Well I don't know. lets find out." Paris said with a smile. "Hey you with the pony!" Paris said loud enough for him to hear her. "Are you talking to it?"

Nathaniel glanced over at the two girls when he heard the younger of the two just randomly shout out. She seemed barely in her teens, a happy sort of girl with braces. He opened his mouth to answer when Ace began trampling the sand underfoot in rage. "I am not a pony!" Wary of the pegasus' hooves, he moved a bit away, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Aces was so touchy. After a few more moments of breathing through his nostrils, looking quite steamed, the pegasus said a quick farewell to Nathan and something about being too offended to keep up a civil conversation before flapping his snowy wings and flying off in the direction of the stables. The Australian teenager watched him leave in shocked silence for a moment before shaking his head. What a touchy creature. Not in the mood to shout, he stood, dusting himself off, and strolled towards the girls. He looked down at the younger demigod with half amusement, half annoyance. "Yes, I was. And the proper term is pegasus. They really are quite sensitive. Well, that one is at any rate." He had to bite his tongue to keep from lecturing her on the difference between a horse and a pegasus, because if he did, he would surely send the two of them to sleep from the boredom of having countless facts bouncing off their eardrums. Nathaniel allowed the ghost of a smile to play on his lips as a firey red hammer appeared above the younger girl's head. She had been claimed. "A daughter of Hephaestus. Interesting."
