Hermes The Messenger of the gods and the god of thieves and travelers. Symbol: Caduceus
The Hermes cabin is of average size and stores random trophies from the pickpocket sons of Hermes. It is made of wood, and inside is an assortment of beds, cots, hammocks, and others sleep on the floor. It is not as crowded as it once was, but there are still many children of the god.

Ace really was quite nice, if a bit shy, and she really hadn't wanted to leave. But she had been wondering if she'd looked a bit clingy, which was why she had accepted his offer to be taken back to her cabin. The daughter of Hermes sighed as she looked around her cabin. It was cruel, really, having to live here after being in Hades' cabin. Maybe she could ask Chiron if she could fix the cabin up a bit. Lucky sighed and threw her bag under her bed, collapsing on the top as she fell asleep on her stomach. + +"Everything I tell you will be a lie; get over it." ══════════════|══════════════ “The truth is rarely pure and never simple, especially in my case.”

☆═━┈lucky grace┈━═☆ ══════════════|══════════════☆═━┈daughter of hermes┈━═☆ + +Lucky dreamed about fire. The white hot flames licked her body as she stood in the remains of her home in Boston, just barely able to keep from screaming. And then she saw a woman, in a stance to mirror her own. She had long black hair and midnight eyes, with skin paler than the moon. It was Lucky's mother. She gave her daughter a sad smile before she disintegrated into ashes, the flames smothering her remains. And then the flames around Lucky grew hotter than anyone could possibly stand and the dream blacked out.
Lucky awoke, jerking upright, gasping for breath. Her neck felt uncomfortably hot. Her hand went to grip her locket but she pulled back when she felt a white hot pain. Instantly alert, Lucky began trying all kinds of means to take the locket off. Nothing worked, but she slowly realized that the pain would lessen around her throat when she faced a line of minor cabins. On a hunch, Lucky grabbed her bag and went to who knows which cabin, guided by the heated pain from her locket. + +"Everything I tell you will be a lie; get over it." ══════════════|══════════════ “The truth is rarely pure and never simple, especially in my case.”

「 And the s o n g b i r d s are singing↘↘ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLike they know the ›› score& I love you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I love you xxxxxxxx& xxxxxxxx I love you xxxxxxxx& xxxxxxxx Like n e v e r before ─. ღThe first to walk through the door to the Hermes cabin was her baby Winter. Okay she wan't really walking, she was moving her feet and everything but Aster was holding her up by her hands and following her. Winter was doing a wonderful job learning how to walk for a pre-mmie. Give it a few more weeks and she'll be running around her grandfather's ranch with the horses! Note to self: Aster thought picking up her baby and tickling her belly. Call Dad.
Dad will not believe any of this. He will not believe that woman he had a child with was a goddess. Probably not a powerful one, though from what she's heard. Which was good. Aster didn't need a powerful mother, or even one at all. From what her step-mother taught her. Elizabeth kicked Aster out of the house that's been in the family for generations all because she was 19 and pregnant. Aster remember that day clearly. She was siting on the couch across from her father's recliner. Her father was siting in the chair and Elizabeth on the arm, and told them she was pregnant. Her father was fine with it, but Elizabeth didn't think a 'baby with out two parents was not fit to live under this roof.' That's not what you said when you met me back when I was in 8th grade, sweetheart.
Aster kissed her daughters for head and in her high voice, she showed Winter the cabin. "This is our new home until mommy get's claimed, Winter." She said to her, and Winter looked at the place with fascination. There were a few people in here, and most of them went about with what they were doing, others had a look on their face that asked why there was a baby here. Then and there did the reality that Kenny (Winter's father) was a god! She fell in love with a god and that god fell in love with her! And Winter would be more god than anyone here! Winter has half god mother and a full god father. This... This was not happening! There was no way in hell that the boy who stood six feet tall, was scrawny, and had bleach blonde, with soft blue eyes that she met her senior year of high school was a god. Who was Kenny, really? He can't be any of the really big ones, or could he? She just recently moved on from Kenny, and knowing that she could run into him again someday is mind blowing.
A god. Who would of thought?
"Where do you want mommy for now sleep, baby?" Aster asked her daughter. Chiron, the activities director, said that Winter would sleep in a playpen in the Big house's main room until Aster got claimed and if the cabin had a lot of people in it she could still stay in there. That didn't bother her though. Just she had to walk quite a sizable distance to get to her daughter and feed her each morning. But that was besides the point. It was mid-day and she still needed to find a place to sleep.

Sage strode into her cabin with a purpose, but what it was she didn't know. She'd been out all day at the strawberry fields, trying to convince one of the daughters of Demeter to teach her to make a potent wine to bribe one of the sons of Dionysus. She had figured that he would g for something like that instead of money because, well, let's face it, the kids of the God of Partying love a good drink. She wished that that girl hadn't have had such a high moral code. That made things difficult for Sage. Even though she was a great manipulator, she couldn't change a person's views of alcohol. She sighed as one of her many siblings rushed out and bumped into er. These kids never learned to stay out of people's way. It was then that she realized her purpose was just to sleep. She was tired as all get out and just wanted to lay down and take a nap.
And that's when she noticed the woman with the baby. She groaned inwardly, but couldn't hold back the slightly disappointed, "Oh, it's a child...." She didn't even bother trying to cover up her words, they were already out, but she did smile kindly at the woman and her little baby girl, "Are you a sibling of mine, or just some poor, unclaimed soul?" She frowned, then glanced down, "Or perhaps it is the little one who is unclaimed or my sibling?" That would be.... Strange. Mostly everyone in this cabin was at least old enough to talk. And to have a sibling that as a baby, and her mother here.... Eh, Sage figured she would deal with it if it came up. If not, all the better for her. In her opinion, Hermes had too many kids. He really needed to check his libido. Or just stop traveling so much.
As she watched the woman and baby with only slightly curious eyes, she thought about what it would be like for the kid to be raised in the camp. Sage herself had been here for eight, almost nine, years and had pretty much been raised here. It was better than the outside world, she'd have to say, but it was hard when the kids teased her for not having been claimed. Most were claimed a week or two after they arrived, but Sage had just been claimed about a month ago. She mentally rolled her eyes as she thought of her great misfortune. She'd been hoping to get out of the Hermes cabin, only to find out that he was her dad. Well, at least she held some small bit of authority over the unclaimed kids. Not only was she honored with being claimed, but she had years of experience in the camp that she could use to kind of push them around. Not that she bullied them, but they definitely moved when she said move.
Speaking of years of experience, Sage found herself wondering how old this lady actually was. She didn't seem very, but she was old enough to have a kid... But then that wasn't saying much either, if you step back and take a look at society today. And so, never one to hold back a question she asked, "How old are you, anyways? No offense, but you don't seem old enough to have a child." ƒєєʅɪɲʛ ƅɾơƙєɲƅʌɾєʅɣ ɦơʅɗɪɲʛ ơɲ ƅυƭ ƭɦєɾє'ƨ ʝυƨƭ ƨơɱєƭɦɪɲʛ ƨơ [ƨƭɾơɲʛ] ƨơɱєɯɦєɾє ɪɲƨɪɗє ɱє ʌɲɗ ɪ ʌɱ ɗơɯɲ ƅυƭ ɪ'ʅʅ ʛєƭ υƥ ʌʛʌɪɲ ɗơɲ'ƭ ƈơυɲƭ ɱє ơυƭ ʝυƨƭ ɣєƭ.

At first she thought it was a claiming for winter, but the goddess of harvest was a female. "Me?" She said without meaning to looking up at the sign. Now she really needed to call her father! The goddess of harvest was Demeter, right? Of course it was! What would her father say? He'd probably be surprised... But, what about Elizabeth? She hated when she talked to her dad and, even though she had no proof and didn't believe her when she told him, but Aster thinks she tapes the phone lines.
Just as the symbol faded, another woman walked through the door. She looked about her age, maybe a bit younger. But she could tell by her line of sight and look on her face that her baby was on her mind. And the phrase to follow just proved her right. "I don't believe so," Aster said returning a bit of that smile that she so kindly gave her. "Unless your a daughter of Demeter too." That last little bit sounded so stupid. Of coarse she wasn't a daughter of Demeter. Would she be in here alone if she was? When the woman asked if it was Winter who was unclaimed she couldn't help but look at her baby sadly. "I don't know who Winter's dad is." Who would of thought that just saying that one simple phrase would make a mother feel so bad about herself? She knew her father once, Aster knew him as Kenneth James Moore, a man just a month younger than her, got into Missouri University on a Basketball scholarship, and died from a heart attack before she could even tell him she was pregnant. But since coming here, she didn't really know anything anymore.
Winter was starting to fuss in her mothers arms. The little girl was waiving her arms around and was trying to get out of her mothers arms. She wanted to go and explore the cabin. Aster couldn't help but let her baby down. But she also didn't want her crawling off. Keeping a close eye on her daughter, She returned back to the conversation. "I'm twenty-one." Aster said, switching her gaze from Winter to the girl. "I know I was a little too young, but I don't regret it one bit." She spoke with a look of seriousness. But at the end of her little speech, she gave her a smile. Looking back at Winter, her baby got up rather clumsily and leaned on the woman she was talking to's legs bouncing up and down and laughing. "She wants you to pick her up." Aster informed her. For a baby, Winter had a great judge of character. If Winter approved of somebody, that somebody was probably a good person.

Sage's eyes lit up slightly, A daughter of Demeter? What a good stroke of luck. Maybe this one will teach me... No, probably not. She's got a kid, so she's probably too much of a good person. With a chuckle at her own antics, Sage shook her head, "No, I'm afraid not. The man who this cabin's named after is my father. The great Hermes, father of many children. Although not nearly as much as Zeus." Even though the man didn't have that many children now a'days, he still had more than any god or goddess has ever had. Sage was secretly thankful that the God of Thunder hadn't been her dad. She would have been powerful, no doubt, but she also would have been the butt of a lot of, 'Your father's a man-hoe and you're his twelve millionth child' jokes. She should know, she'd made a few of those jokes herself.
When the woman seemed ashamed to not know who the father of her baby was, Sage smiled reassuringly at the woman, "Hey, don't look so down on yourself. It's not your fault the baby's dad was a god and decided to leave." She stopped suddenly, wincing slightly and clearing her throat, "Ah... Umm.... Sorry. That was a little harsh." Sage hadn't meant to be mean about it. She had every intention of easing the woman's mind. Unfortunately, it had came out wrong. She'd meant to say something along the lines of, 'It's happened to all of us.' But then.... She realized then that there was no nice way to say that. Everyone had issues about their parent, or their child's parent, in this woman's case, and it was hard to talk about those problems without hitting a soft spot.
She watched the woman sit the baby on the ground, where it began to explore a short distance form it's mother. Sage smiled softly at the child. She'd never really been a huge fan of babies, but they were awfully cute. Sage turned her attention back to the mother and nodded, "And you shouldn't regret it. It may not have been planned, but you got something wonderful out of it." She looked down as the little girl grabbed hold of her leg and giggled. With a bemused sigh Sage bent down and picked the baby up, cradling her gently and chuckling, "You know, I wasn't going to pick you up. But you're just so damned cute that I couldn't resist. Really, now, who can say no to a child?" She spoke to the baby in her normal voice, not bothering to use that annoying baby talk voice that people adapted when talking to the very young or very old. Sage spoke as if talking to someone her own age, she figured that the babies understood it just as well, and she figured that they were smarter than people made them out to be. With one last smile at the baby, the daughter of Hermes looked back to the mother and grinned, "Well, whatever anyone says, you did good, mama. You'v got a bright little girl." She paused for a moment, then chuckled again, "By the way, my name's Sage. Sage Skythian." ƒєєʅɪɲʛ ƅɾơƙєɲƅʌɾєʅɣ ɦơʅɗɪɲʛ ơɲ ƅυƭ ƭɦєɾє'ƨ ʝυƨƭ ƨơɱєƭɦɪɲʛ ƨơ [ƨƭɾơɲʛ] ƨơɱєɯɦєɾє ɪɲƨɪɗє ɱє ʌɲɗ ɪ ʌɱ ɗơɯɲ ƅυƭ ɪ'ʅʅ ʛєƭ υƥ ʌʛʌɪɲ ɗơɲ'ƭ ƈơυɲƭ ɱє ơυƭ ʝυƨƭ ɣєƭ.

Probably the camp clown, but her humor was a more intelligent humor. This girl was probably going to be a person too keep around both her and her baby. I sound like a mom. The young mother thought. Yeah she was a mom, but some of the things she said reminded her intensely of something her friends mother's would of said, or maybe what her mother would of said. She didn't know what it was, but becoming a mom, or a parent in general, makes something change in your brain. It makes you more mature, more self conscious. A child gives you something to live for.
Anyway, Aster gave a chuckle at what the teenager said. She knew quite a lot when it came to the Ancient Greeks and some Romans, but being here every second it felt like being back in that small class room in her Junior year with Forrest (who was apparently her 'protector' or something) to her right and her best friend, Lea, to her left. That class was her very last hour of the day, so as soon as that bell rang to go home she'd get in that trusty Ford truck and take that three mile drive back to that ranch ride one of the four horses that they owned. With the other sentence that she heard her say about Kenny it kind of felt like grounding her for a week, then giving her a ice cream cone. It hurt, but it also didn't. Aster couldn't help but laugh at what she said after that. She was making an awkward apology, and, tell her if she's being mean, but that was kind of funny. "It's okay," Aster said with a smile. "Believe me when I say that I've had far worse things said to me about her father. Most of it done by my own step-mother." Elizabeth was a witch. Enough said.
She didn't quite know what to say when she responded to her not regretting choosing to keep Winter, so she just smiled. Showing off those perfectly straight and white teeth that three years in braces and the wonder of dentistry had given her. When the teenager picked up her baby and started talking to her she couldn't help but smile. And Winter seemed to like her. Winter was waving her arms around, laughing, her hazel eyes wide and staring around. She looked like her father, but with her grandfather's brown hair and eyes."Thanks. She was premature, but she's coming along very, very well." Aster said looking at her daughter, who was looking everywhere. "I'm Aster Brooks. And that's Winter." She added, making eye contact with Sage.

Sage smiled as she rocked the child in her arms, watching her little face. She glanced at the mother and realized this may be on, or rather two, of the best friends that she'd ever make. If her mischievous (and sometimes moderately criminal) ways didn't get in the way. Not that she did it on purpose or anything, it was in her nature to steal and trick. She tried to be as honest as possible, and she didn't trick anyone who didn't deserve it. And she never stole from the people she liked. She had decided that she definitely liked these two. There was something about them that was so.... Comfortable. It was like just being around them relaxed her usually hyper mind.
She sighed mentally at her strange analyzes of the two, then chuckled when Aster laughed at her awkward apology, "Step parents are the worst. Never had any myself, I'm adopted, you see, but I knew a few kids who absolutely despised their step parents." Her own foster parents had always been kind, and she was actually rather close to them. Especially her 'mother'. The woman was always so nice, and, even though Sage wasn't really her daughter, she was always treated as one.
When the baby started to wiggle and laugh, Sage laughed with her and re positioned her in her arms, "Energetic little thing aren't you? I can see you being wonderful at capture the flag when you grow up. Word to the wise, get on the Athena kids' team. You'r less likely to get caught in a trap." Which was true. Either that or with the Hermes or Hephaestus kids. When Aster told Sage their names she smiled into the woman's eyes, "Aster and Winter. Has a nice ring to it." She touched the baby's soft hair gently, then said to the mother, "What's it like, having a kid? Is it nice? Or..." She trailed off, then smiled sheepishly, "Uh, you know what, excuse me. I ask too many questions sometimes." She liked to know, to learn, and that little character trait always came back to bite her in the butt. She tended to pry too much. ƒєєʅɪɲʛ ƅɾơƙєɲƅʌɾєʅɣ ɦơʅɗɪɲʛ ơɲ ƅυƭ ƭɦєɾє'ƨ ʝυƨƭ ƨơɱєƭɦɪɲʛ ƨơ [ƨƭɾơɲʛ] ƨơɱєɯɦєɾє ɪɲƨɪɗє ɱє ʌɲɗ ɪ ʌɱ ɗơɯɲ ƅυƭ ɪ'ʅʅ ʛєƭ υƥ ʌʛʌɪɲ ɗơɲ'ƭ ƈơυɲƭ ɱє ơυƭ ʝυƨƭ ɣєƭ.

Aster began with a small smile. "One of my best guy friends through high school had the best step father in the world. Took him hunting and fishing and basically acted as his dad." It's times like this when she didn't go to a high school in Wyoming with about 73 people in her entire class. She sounded like you regular hill billy! But she also kinda was. "The truth is undeniable" She can remember the old, leathery junior year philosophy teacher saying that first day of school.
Wait, did Sage just say she was adopted? Oh god. That must of been horrible. Aster's never known an adopted child, but Elizabeth used to be a case worker and she heard it was hard on the kids it the didn't have the emotionally flexibility. Was Sage one of those kids that Elizabeth would go on and on about when she wasn't being a witch? No. Sage looked too strong willed to be that child crying her self to sleep at an orphanage... Or was she?
Aster laughed as she watched her daughter wiggle in Sage's arms. Winter liked her. It took forever to for her to let Forrest, her protector and good friend, hold her, hid from the presence of the Activities director, and started crying when Mr. D walked it. Maybe it was because of the fact those three people weren't human? But that makes no since! Winter was more god than any other camper here. Was she just strange or was it a little gift that she had? Oh It didn't matter. Mr. D didn't seem like a nice person anyway.
Anyway, Aster couldn't help but keep smiling when Sage started giving Winter advice on a game that she wouldn't be able to play for about nine, ten years. Yup. Sage was going to be nice to keep Winter around.
"Oh, It's okay. I don't mind all the questions. And yes. It is very nice. Some times Winter can be a little head ache, but in the end you still love your child with all your heart and soul." She said looking at her daughter with a smile. "She looks like her father. Just with my father's coloring." This was true. Winter had the smile, eyes, head shape, and even the hands of her father. While she had the brown hair, hazel eyes, and light olive skin of her grandfather. Aster always wanted a daughter that looked like her, but still, Winter is perfect.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxMy name is Damian WintersAnd I'm the....xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx• Son of Hermes• Messenger of the godsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx God of ThievesxxxxxxxxTraveling and Pranks Walking into his own cabin was in truth a bit of a boring experience each time he did it. But you had to if you wanted to ever sleep.
When he had reached the cabin door itself, he could hear what sounded like two females conversing with one another over something or another. Might as well join in. If the knowledge was true, then he'd have no problems with introductions since his father was the god of hospitality. Though that could be all a lie since his father had left him and his mother alone. Great. Now Damian was pissed off again. " I hate him..." thought Damian just barely placing his hand on the door before it fell to the side. Did he really hate his own father? Yes! Of course! Considering what he did to Damian and not to mention his mother!
Positives..He had to think of positives. At least he must've inherited his looks from his father? Not to mention being a jack of all trades...But still that wasn't enough to replace a father's love. That aside, it wasn't enough to fill the void of having no male figure there when he was needed. Regardless of this, it was time to make a good impression on his siblings. Opening the door revealed two females, and a baby? Well considering what he had seen in the forest this wasn't too much of a surprise. But a surprise none the less in any case. Walking into the cabin he spoke to which ever one would be his sibling; though both in general. " Hey." spoke Damian with a light wave.

Sage chuckled lightly, "Alright, not all are horrid, but a vast majority. Or, you know, at least half." She really only knew about horrid step-parents. All her friends had ever talked about was how much they hated their step parent and wanted them to leave. What they didn't know was the pain of not actually having parents, even though your foster parents were wonderful and kind. But still, there was a hole somewhere inside Sage where she felt her mother would fill, but at the same time she knew it would probably never go away. She'd never know her mother, never know what happened to the woman who her foster parents say was wonderful.
And by now she couldn't help but to wonder if they were lying. They seemed sincere, truly, but it was always easy for adults to lie to children. They hardly even thought about it sometimes. Like when a kid asked if they could grow up to be president one day, adults, parents even, always say yes, but they never truly mean it. Those first grade teachers never actually think the kids in their classes will grow up to be astronauts or NFL stars. They don't think past that year, the next month's paycheck. And so what made her foster parents any different? They said her mother was wonderful, just to keep her happy. How could a wonderful woman give up her daughter for adoption?
Just realizing the bitter expression that had came onto her face, Sage blinked rapidly and looked down at the child in her arms, then sighed and the dark frown faded to be replaced by her usual good humored smirk, "Got lost in myself there, Winter dear. Sorry if I scared you." She looked back to the mother, "I can see the truth in your eyes there, you love her more than life itself. I admire that."
She glanced up when she heard footsteps at the door, then saw one of her brothers step in. Oh, what was his name again? For someone who'd been here nine years, she'd seen so many kids come and go that she hardly remembered all of their names. Damian. That was this particular one. She nodded to him, smiling, "What's up, bro?" ƒєєʅɪɲʛ ƅɾơƙєɲƅʌɾєʅɣ ɦơʅɗɪɲʛ ơɲ ƅυƭ ƭɦєɾє'ƨ ʝυƨƭ ƨơɱєƭɦɪɲʛ ƨơ [ƨƭɾơɲʛ] ƨơɱєɯɦєɾє ɪɲƨɪɗє ɱє ʌɲɗ ɪ ʌɱ ɗơɯɲ ƅυƭ ɪ'ʅʅ ʛєƭ υƥ ʌʛʌɪɲ ɗơɲ'ƭ ƈơυɲƭ ɱє ơυƭ ʝυƨƭ ɣєƭ.

△Alexandra Morgan△ ▲Daughter of Hermes▲ ▽Not all those who wander are lost▽ Alex stood in front of her fathers cabin looking at every little detail. She noticed that it was the most normal cabin and also the dirtiest. She wondered of it would be crowded in there and she thought that maybe it was but she liked that. She wanted to meet her brothers and sisters, people who understood how she felt and maybe they could help her become a better thief. She smiled and opened the cabin door. She saw some people there and smiled. She walked to one of the bunks that didn't look like it was occupied and put her stuff down and looked around the room, spotting expensive items just laying there and Alex thought that maybe that wasn't a good idea. She once again smiled and sat down on her bed
