Erebus

God of Darkness

This cabin is dark, to say the least. It is a normal log house that always seems to be filled with shadows. The sunlight makes it look abnormal, so heavy black curtains are usually drawn to kick out the sunlight. Bright colors are doused with darker colors as soon as they come in, but the natural color returns when outside the cabin.

Child of Darkness. Daughter of Erebus.

Snow stood in front of the Erebus cabin, her new home. She had her silver bow in her hand. Her grip on it loosened as she lowered her guard. The satyr was telling the truth. She felt safe here, more then she has anywhere else. It was a security she lacked for the many years of her life. She'll still sleep with a knife under her pillow, but that may soon change the longer she stays here. The child of Erebus stood at her place for a moment, examining the cabin. It looked so dark and sinister, but welcoming. She's been afraid of the dark for as long as she could remember. Somehow that fear didn't reach her now. Who would have thought one of her greatest fears would make her feel at home? With a sigh she walked up to the front door.

The interior of the cabin was much darker then Snow anticipated. It was pitch-black as if no light had ever entered the rooms. Any normal person would have to feel around to navigate there way through the darkness. Snow could see perfectly fine. In fact, she saw better then she could in the sunlight. Her eyes could pick up every single crack in the wood of the floors and walls, every speck of dust that floated in the air or lay on the floor. Snow must be the first person to step into here. There was a thin layer of dust covering everything. Well, now she knew what she could do to waste away her spare time. She dropped her bags onto the floor and plopped into a nearby chair. Her silver eyes surveyed the empty cabin with a sense of familiarity. She could get used to living here.

Now that this was her home she might as well get oriented with the rest of the camp. She walked over to the black duffel bag she brought with her and pulled out a clean white dress cut just above the knees. It was the usual dress she wore when in the comfort of her home. She thought it appropriate to wear it now since she officially moved in. Once the dress was pulled over her head she grabbed her bow and quiver and walked out into the sunlight.

The sudden burst of light nearly burned her eyes. She had to waste a few minutes blinking to readjust her sight. Was that going to happen every time she stepped out of the cabin? Perhaps, it was something she had to get used to. Once she could handle the sun's bright light she looked around at the other cabins. "Where to go now..." She whispered to herself.
