For the Time being... If you want to be an Akatsuki member, you are going to have to fill this out and send it to me (Henin) for approval. Keep in mind that I will be looking for originality in the sense of that your not a total copy of one of the original members with only a different name. Personality:Like a chameleon, Ryu blends in to most places and people he is forced to encounter. He tends to be passive, not bothering with mundane small talk unless it provides a benefit to gathering what he is after.
He's cold at times, and gets straight to the point, if he's looking for something, he'll ask you. In his mind, everyone else has one purpose to him, information; if you don't have what Ryu's looking for, then he deems the person useless.
With a sense of dark humor only Ryu can understand, he tends to make lighthearted comments about death and the act of killing, it's his way of coping with the fact that his task has the greatest meaning in life than everyone else. Unfortunately, this sense of humor usually comes out a murder before you can hear it.

╫Background Information╫
Ryu was born in the Hidden Mist village, raised by his mother, father, and older brother. Ryu was born a Hozuki, and was trained and treated as thus by his family. Like their forefathers, Rya and Kirage taught their children while they were young about their bloodline in order to give them the advantage of being a Hozuki.
By the age of five, his brother of ten. Ryu was constantly challenging his brother to mock battles, unfortunately Ryo had seniority over his little brother, thus more time to train his power, and defeated Ryu on every challenge he offered. This obviously became incentive for Ryu to become stronger, so he could finally defeat his big brother Hozuki vs. Hozuki.
He took up the Academy and learned the basics of being a ninja. His brother already a Gennin taking missions, made it hard for Ryu to challenge his brother, due to a tight schedule as a Gennin. He decided to do extra training behind his brother's back in hopes to gain an advantage when he challenged Ryo again, but to no avail.
His big brother was in a league of his own above Ryu, which always drove him to train harder to surpass him. Meanwhile, the parents stood with pride seeing their children grow and thrive as ninja. They taught their children well and gave them no bars to hold them back.
Ryu did all he could to become stronger, seeking extra attention from his sensei, asking for training from his father, all of this to please his desire to defeat his brother. Ryu's passion to triumph became quite the obsession as he began to cut out basic necessities in his daily routine to bulk up on training. His power struggle allowed him to graduate from the academy to take on missions as a Gennin. . .while his brother striven to become a chunnin. Ryu felt hopeless, thinking his big brother would always be a step ahead of him just because he's been around longer than he has. Through desperation, his father's assistance, and through his travels as a Gennin, he discovered a style all his own that might defeat his brother despite the fact that their abilities as a Hozuki were far apart; Kenjutsu, the art of the sword. With information about a unique sword from his father, Ryu took a mission that allowed him to trail off to find this clan sword.
Hidden in the island of his forefathers, Mukizu, Ryu would find the Hozuki Greatsword. An azure blade as big as him, used by his predecessors, nothing special but its color at first glance. This was the power that Ryu sought out, thinking this would be the weapon that will turn the tides against his brother. Obviously Ryu didn't want to challenge his brother as soon as he found this sword, it was heavy and Ryu had no idea how to use it. So he did what he had always done when times looked down, Ryo's little brother trained. He built up the strength needed to carry the sword, learned how to use it, and implemented it into a combined power of Kenjutsu and Hozuki.
Many years passed, Ryu's big brother had become a successful Chunnin, while he remained a Gennin. Finally the time had come to challenge his brother to what he considered the one battle to decide the strongest. His father spectated the battle to make sure they didn't end up killing each other. The fight took place in a large lake where the two could use their clan's power to their best extent. It was a fierce battle, Ryo had obviously become accustom to the use of his clans abilities, but Ryu had the sword, which made his style a bit more complicated to follow and put him at an advantage to his brother. Ryu caught his brother off guard and went in with the Hozuki sword to finish him off, as in literally kill him, but before he could reach his big brother, their father came in to the frame and took the shot, killing him.
Ryu, consumed by his obsession found no remorse in taking his father's life, claiming he only got in the way, and continued to pursue his big brother. His brother no longer wished to fight him at the moment and fled from him, but this memory of his little brother killing his father would remain haunted in his life forever. After the battle, Ryu was confused as to why his father took an actual physical blow instead of using the Clan's technique to deviate the shot with water. . .perhaps Kirage expected his son to yield when he threw himself in the line of fire, but Ryu didn't.
From that day forth, Ryu was a changed man, not only killing a member of his own clan, but his father no less. There was no punishment greater than death for Ryu Hozuki.
With his Mother and brother gone, there was nothing left for Ryu to do but go on with his life as a Gennin, to push up the ranks and become stronger until he finds his brother again. When asked about his family, he usually pleads amnesia or some other excuse, if anyone learned about murdering his father, they would have him executed for such a thing, and then what good would all of his training have been for? Ryu remained silent for the longest time, making sure that no one ever discovered his dark, black past.
Years passed, and Ryu rose high in the ranks as a Jounin, given missions that allowed him to travel to other Hidden villages like Cloud and Fire. His search for his brother had never been fulfilled with the busy life of a Jounin, but it allowed him to keep his mind off of it. . .for some time. It would be in one of these travels to the Hidden Cloud village that he came across a character of sorts, draped in black and red with clouds. After a few words and a small bout, Ryu was defeated by this superior, but he wouldn't die yet.
His opponent claimed himself a member of Akatsuki, and shared with Ryu the intentions of the group. The opponent told him that they knew about his past, about his craving for vengeance against his brother, and tantalized Ryu with promises of power and defeating his brother. . .which he accepted. Like his forefather, Suigetsu, he too would work for the Akatsuki for their benefit and for his own personal gain.

The Suit has a extremely hard crystal over the heart that acts as the storage container for the absorbed chakra. Be hide the crystal is a Hard drive (That's just the best way I can explain it.) that records the amount of physical energy spiritual energy and the balance of the 5 chakra natures. The suite can then try to emulate the jutsu used, however perfect as that might seem each disk can only record 5 jutsu. If a new jutsu is used and the disk is full it will not record the new jutsu, also if a jutsu is used multiple times it records it each time, And the old disk needs to be removed and a new one inserted before it can copy any new jutsu.
The suit also mimics the human body's chakra network with small strands of the crystal fiber woven into the cloth with crystal gems acting as the chakra points. Underneath the outer layer of cloth are small sized scale mail for maximum movement yet substantial defense. The inner most layer is high quality ninja cloth for both comfort and durability.
The crystals in the suite can consume the chakra contained within to grow and increase the maximum amount of chakra it can contain. Also the crystal is unaffected by poisonous chakra and it will not hurt the wearer of the suit as their chakras do not mix. Although the wearer can store his chakra into the suit he cannot latter retrieve it.
The armor absorbs all uncontained chakra within a eight and a half foot radius although the pull gets weaker the farther it from the source. Despite being able to absorb chakra from the area around it, cannot absorb chakra directly from a human (Or any being's) body. Although it can absorb chakra as soon as it leaves the body making techniques like Rasengan Genjutsu, and even gentle fist virtually worthless even clones suffer from the affects of the chakra barrier. It also cannot absorb chakra that is sealed such as in scrolls, body's, sealing jutsu, or things like the crystal itself..
The last few functions the suit can perform is use chakra to create an electromagnetic barrier repelling any magnetic metals and, push large amounts of chakra out of Half chakra points simultaneously to create a spinning barrier. Lastly it has been modified absorb energy types like heat and electricity and covert them to pure energy to be stored in the crystals.

╫Background Information╫
He is a ninja from a far off foreign land after many wars his land was united under a single clan (The clan of sun and moon or the Eclipse village for short.). The Emperor (The feudal lord who sponsored that village during the war.) of the nation picked four of the strongest shadow warriors in the land to travel to a neighboring continent to scout it out.
These four warriors arrived in the continent undetected however they quickly caught a dieses that does not exist in their land. The ninjas quickly perished as they had no immunity to the disease. The father mother and younger sister all succumbed to the illness and only the young boy survived. However at the loss of his entire family the young boy was not sadden; as his parents always adored his sister and always criticized him. His sister his perfect sister the one whose Kekkai Genkai is the strongest in the history of the clan and him whose is the weakest. By all rights he should have been next in line for head of the clan being first born, however do to his weak blood lines his sister was chosen instead.
So he does not care for their demise he is in fact happy at their deaths. Now he has a new chance at life without the dishonor of tainting the blood line. After sealing and burring their body's he trained and practiced his skills on his own. Despite his efforts he was still a mediocre ninja until one day he stubble upon the site of a battle wear eight shinbone lay dead both sides mutually destroyed. One group was from the village hidden in the snow. The boy had heard of their armors potency at repelling ninjutsu and genjutsu so he stripped them of their armor and traveled to a safe location to study it. After many years he had managed to rebuild and even improve design of the suite.
Eventually his hidden talents where discovered by the Akatsuki and after being recruited quickly rose through their ranks. He enjoys all of the freedom and power that comes with the position taking advantage to do whatever he wants with it.

In a way Yuri’s life is similar to Sakura Haruno’s, both girls were born to non-Shinobi profession families but both strived their best to get at the top of their class even if nether of them possessed any special family Jutsus or Kekkai Genkkai and eventually became great medical ninjas But unlike Sakura, Yuri turned. As a medical ninja of her village, Yuri had a horrible habit of being a klutz and often dropped equipment or tripped over nothing, during one of these incidents, Yuri was filing a few medical files when her finger brushed up against the side of the paper and cut it. Using her tongue and the roof of her mouth to apply pressure to her careless wound, Yuri was surprised to find something interesting, she liked the taste of blood, it was bitter and tasted like metal but for some reason, she liked it. As the girl quickly made the cut bigger in order to get more of the taste in her mouth, she wondered if different people’s blood tasted different from her own. With this in mind, the girl turned around and set off into the village. It was horrible, in a messily two hours, Yuri had murdered nearly all of the academy students and a few Chuinin instructors, When authority’s finally were able to catch up with the berserk jonin, They were terrified to find the once kind and caring medical-nin covered in the blood of innocent people as she licked the red stains of the palms of her hands like it was candy. Evidently a team of Jonin dispersed and was finally able to apprehend their former comrade and Yuri was sent to an elite jail for the trail of the 18 academy students she murdered and the 2 instructors, Were she was sentenced to a lifetime of prison. Yuri doesn’t remember how long she stayed their, it was probably on the line of months but one day, the prison was attacked by a group of strange people wearing black cloaks, they opened up Yuri’s cell and handed to her a long scarf with the same pattern as their black and red clouded cloaks. "We've been watching you for the last seven months, observing your skills as a Medical Ninja and we've come to a conclusion, Your skills are two advanced to have you be locked in this hell hole for the rest of your life, If your willing to become the Medic of our organization, we're willing to bust you out of this place." said one of the cloaked members. "We have a plan for this dying world and you can really be of assistance to us." with that said, Yuri silently arose to her feet. Running her fingers through her out grown hair and snickering, she took the scarf in his hands and wrapped around her neck securely "You've got yourself a deal."

• Shunshin- This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalize the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and their intended destination
• Body Replacement Technique- This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach using the Body Flicker Technique, the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.
• Jian-Chidorigatana- This technique allows the user to flow lightning chakra through their sword. This makes it nearly unblock able as the radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, if an opponent is stabbed, their body goes numb due to an electrical current which causes the muscles to go stiff, making it impossible for the opponent to move. However, it can be easily countered by other weapons that also utilize chakra flow, such as Killer Bee's swords.
• Chidori Senbon- This is one of many variations of the Chidori that uses shape transformation. It is specialized in more speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, all aimed at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases. The entire reaction will last no more than two or three seconds. If an opponent happens to be caught within the flame, the fire will be very hot and will cause third-degree burns upon contact. However, the true deadliness in this technique is the reaction. After having rapidly burned the elements within the air, the oxygen will be almost completely depleted. The opponent will then suffocate and Zhao can use this moment to follow with another attack. The fire produced will be blue in color, because of the increased temperature. In the presence of Fuuton chakra, the flames will have a farther range and will, additionally, completely burn the Fuuton chakra. Fuuton attacks B-ranked or lower will be completely neutralized in a resulting large explosion. Fuuton attacks A-Ranked and higher will have a slightly dampened effect. In the presence of Suiton chakra, the flames will have a slightly dampened range but will be able to neutralize some of the effects of the attack. Suiton attacks B-Ranked or lower will have reduced damage and range. Suiton attacks A-Ranked and higher will hardly be affected.
Taijutsu
•Denkou Kami no Nigiri Kobushi- [Fist of the Lightning God] -
A Taijutsu created by the Xiao clan in using and incorporating the Raijin Bachi, the style in unique to the Xiao as it is a style create for the soul use of the Zhao's clan. Denkou Kami no Nigiri Kobushi uses a style similar to mixed martial arts taking forms from Muay Thai, Northern Shoalin martial arts, Kyokushin Karate, and Aikido. Creating a system that uses quick powerful blows, retreats and aerial attacks, as well as attacking joints. While doing these attacks they utilize the Raijin Bachi to stun the opponent and continue pounding the opponent until they are dead or can no longer attack.
Nin-kenjutsu
Jiki Oni (Magnetic Ogre)-By bending the magnetic polarity by altering his Raiton chakra, he can use the magnetic forces to make his attacks stronger against other materials. By polarizing his enemy's weapon (Ideally in close-combat, probably by clashing weapons.. or through touch)... not only can he virtually control their sword and sword-arm (assuming a metallic weapon).. He can force strong attraction. Then, it depends on the angle of the blades. If ''more straight'' than the enemy's.. which may be offset by a few degrees... he can cleave right through. Similarly, and preferably by exerting a good amount of chakra . He can force a random number of particles within the sword to polarize... Not all of them, just about half... and to a positive charge. Theoretically, that would make the blade weaker by repelling against its crystalline structure..essentially ripping the blade itself apart, down to the guard (if it has one) to the hilt

Zhao invented this jutsu after watching Hekkenda Fukurou, mistaking his Burēdobin (Blade Bond) for a magnetism style jutsu, seeing that his could be effective he decided to make something that would be effective in combat. Realizing the jutsu's devastating power he has quickly employed the technique into his repertoire

Description: By employing the use of Neton - Combustion, Zhao can release white flames at selected areas over the entirety of his body. After forming the necessary handsigns, Zhao can use Neton chakra to form patches of pure white flames over selected areas of his body. For example, if attempting to land a Taijutsu strike, the man could cover his fist with Neton chakra in order to produce a more powerful punch. This technique can also be used for defensive maneuvers. If an opponent is about to land a strike, Zhao can cover that selected area with white flames. The flames will in no way deter the attack, but they will burn the opponent upon contact. Direct contact results in third-degree and second-degree burns. Second-degree burns are felt at a maximum range of six inches. Any range beyond six inches may or may not sustain burns, but will likely sustain red patchiness depending upon proximity to the attack. With this technique Zhao can cover up to six areas at any given moment. The maximum size of the patches of flames are twelve inches by twelve inches. Patches of flames may be combined to produce larger patches. This technique is not meant for sustained fire patches. Rather, it is meant for patches to be formed, released, and then formed again depending upon the particular situation. Sustaining the patches can and very well may burn the user. This technique can be used for a maximum of ten posts before needing to be reactivated
Raiton no Yoroi- By wrapping his body in a layer of lightning chakra, the user can electrically stimulate a shinobi's nervous system and speed up the shinobi's neural synapses to react faster to danger and push one's physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing him/her to gain tremendous raw speed and monstrous power. This armor, combined with taijutsu, allows the shinobi to utilize nintaijutsu.
While using this technique their reflexes are comparable to that of Konoha's Yellow Flash, making it difficult, even for the Sharingan, to keep up with them.
By combining this armor with the Body Flicker Technique, they can even dodge an Uchiha's Amaterasu at a split second, as well as attacks at point blank range. The armor also increases their defense, drastically reducing, if not completely negating, damage from incoming attacks as even a direct Chidori from Sasuke was barely able to pierce the jutsu. In addition, the armor seems to increase the strength of the user. Protection from the friction and G-force is due to the fact that his outer body, and cells are coated in high frequency chakra. The energy generated will clash with the friction and G-force, thus protecting him from harm of both friction and the crushing damage of G-force.
Speed : [224,000 mph/3,700 miles per second] This does not change with the use of the HR method only the strength and the ability to negate ninjutsu and genjutsu, if hit by a punch covered in this jutsu ones chakra is disrupted for 3 turns/posts before one can use justu. Ranshinshō- By converting their chakra into electricity and striking the enemy, the shinobi is able to disrupt the signals that are sent from the brain to the opponent's nervous system in order to function. For example, if someone tried to move their right arm, a different part of the body would move in the way they wanted their right arm to move. However, the victim can partially overcome the technique if they manage to relearn the connection between their brain and their limbs, though such feat however is not an easy one, and takes a high amount of concentration and intelligence.
Raika Hōken - [Crushing Fist of Majestic Lightning] -
Hand seals - [Ram, Dragon, Dog, Boar, Serpent]
A taijutsu move that requires hand seals, Raika Hoken is one of the Xiao clan's taijutsu's that utilize both their Raijin Bachi and Ration nature chakra to create a devastating hand to hand move. By flowing Raiton nature chakra into the electric organs within his body increasing the voltage to 10,000 volts at 20 amperes creating a more devastating attack, this attack usually takes the form of redirecting the force of the opponents attack away from him and then sending a punch directly to the chest near the heart, or even the head or throat often sending the enemy stumbling away, it can even kill or send an opponent to their knees in a single strike. This Taijutsu is at its strongest when the Xiao clanner has reached Jounin level of skill.
Byakuraishō - [White Lightning Palm] -
Hand seals - [Horse, Monkey, Tiger, Ox]
A similar taijutsu like Rika Hoken which directs the Raiton nature chakra to his electric glands increasing the voltage to 10,000 volts, 20 amps the attack is often used in open hand to hand combat, but when the enemy is caught off guard often grabbing the head of the opponent and sending the electrical current to the brain in a similar manner of the Electric chair which produces 2,000 volts of an alternating current, the Byakuraisho sends 10,000 volts at 10 ampheres of electricity usually directly into the head of the victim immediately frying the brain it is a deadly attack that if the opponent is caught will kill them.
Inner Crushing Strike- A Inner Power technique in which the practitioner circulates Chakra through his body, and releases it through his fist at the same time he extends his hand and makes contact with the opponents body, which increases the oscillation of vibrations though the kinetic energy produced from the momentum and power of the hit. With this skill one is able to vibrate the fluids in the body, or even the bone marrow, destroying the inside of the opponents through powerful vibrations
Lightning Steps: Inner power techniques utilized by circulating chakra to the ankle and synchronizing the flow of chakra with the physical movement of stepping, to initiate a foot technique. They consists of five different basic moves:
Jin: Draws you closer to your opponent.
Tweh: A technique which allows rapid movement to retreat or create distance between user and opponent.
Hweh: Allows the user to avoid the opponents attack and gaze.
Kyuk: Attacks your opponent, however this skill cannot be employed in any way the user desires, Kyuk allows the user to read or analyses an opponent's foot technique and to change its movement to neutralist the opponent.
Hwan: Is a secret technique which affects an opponent's mind and will power, creating the effect of the user being in multiple places at once, most probably by moving fast enough to create an after image of the user previous movement.
Kinjutsu
Heaven's Riches- This is a technique passed down through the Xiao clan's main house, due to its need for the users to be at a young age to learn. This jutsu requires an immense amount of time and meditation to be complete, the technique must be performed again after it is used. Heaven's Riches utilizes imagery through meditation, this jutsu is used to purify chakra to create a more powerful reaction in jutsu, thus making even low level jutsu more powerful through the use of handseals is still needed for each jutsu. The purified chakra can be used to limit the use of chakra saving chakra so as to keep more in reserves.
The reason for this technique being a kinjutsu is the age limit, and the dangerous strain it puts on the body. One must start at the age of five to begin their physical, spiritual, and mental training as well as the need to adapt their charkra pathways and tenketsu. Once one has reached 13 their chakra pathways have been enriched and adapted to the technique, thus allowing them to utilize the full focus of it's power. The danger of this technique is that if one has not trained since the determined age their chakra pathway and tenketsu have matured, the side effect being if one were to employ this their chakra center and tenketsu would be destroyed causing death.

Affiliate techniques-
Fist of Reverse Lightning- Utilizing the purified chakra, one gathers the purified chakra, and generates a purified raiton jutsu around their fist. This technique is used at close quarters utilizing the Xiao's style of fighting, by hitting the enemy with this jutsu they disrupt the flow of chakra in the body for a duration [5 turns/posts each hit]. If this attack is used at the epicenter of chakra flow the one is left without the use of chakra for [10 turns/posts each hit] leaving them without any means to use jutsu and it also stuns the body for [1 turn/post each hit].
Lightning Flash- Using the purifying technique of Heaven's Riches, one can generate a powerful blast of purified Raiton chakra. Using a set of hand seals, one gathers the purified Raiton chakra at three points around either left or right hand, the user can then choose to either strike the opponent to permanently damage the chakra center of their opponent, shutting off chakra flow throughout the body, or to release it with it a sixteen foot blast radius around the user. This technique if used as a blast can disrupt oncoming jutsu negating them and anyone caught with in the blast radius before the electricity seeps in to the ground is incapable of using jutsu for 5 turns/ posts.
[Draw back- If this technique is used one cannot use it for five days five post (IC days), and it takes another five to use the arm used in junction with the jutsu.]

Personality : He is still a determined individual, almost to a fault, but he is much more cautious now that he is a Jounin. Xiao Zhao will do nearly anything for the sake of his goals. Zhao, much like when he was young, thrives under pressure and still pushes against his destiny. He has maintained his strength in counters. He will analyze his opponents and find their weaknesses and their strengths. Once his has identified them properly he capitalizing on one and attempts to counter the other. Unlike most shinobi who merely follow orders, he is one to question the orders of his superiors if he deems necessary. Zhao is capable of making necessary changes in strategies and tactics, to better accommodate the overall success of the mission.
He attempts to read a book or some type of literature. Zhao has trained himself to rapidly absorb information and analyze it quickly. He has a very good memory, if not quite photographic, and can pull up data from a variety of sources for his use. Zhao has also reduced his thinking from being quite so linear. He can also see the "gray area" of things and can now wrap his mind around more complex and complicated issues.

Zhao was born into the main house of the Xiao clan as so he is treated like royalty within the clan, as the son of the head he is destined to control the inner workings of the clan from financial to the more private matters within the clan. After graduating the academy he has been training for missions and as such hoping to gain more strength.
Three years after his ascension into the rank of Jounin, he betrayed Kumogakure, first removing all those who held any emotional attachment to him. His primary reason for betraying both Kumo and his clan was that they lacked imagination, their ideal system seemed dull and void of any interest. Zhao dreamed of being unfettered by the logic of his clan's, and Kumo's society. He wanted to see the world in his own way, his dream aspired to be far more higher than just a shinobi of Kumo.
The world is his oyster, his very being wants to see what changes he could bring to the world of shinobi, thus he sought out a way to free himself from the restraints of duty and logic. An idea came upon him when he was reading a report, the Akatsuki a group of powerful outlaws, free from the chains of laws and societies ways. He openly left the village making a scene one would not forget, bodies lay strewn about both inside and outside of the village, this open display of hostility baffled the other members of the village. One could say that he was bound to leave both his clan and village, his mind was always strange to others his speech, his body language and even ideals where far from the norm. He viewed himself as a free individual, not obligated to his clan or Kumo, he saw both as stepping stones to obtaining his freedom.
One could blame it upon his upbringing, his very existence in the clan and the village was always under much scrutiny, like a cage bird he wished to be free, and when the opportunity and the means presented themselves he took it. Always forced to act as envoy of both the Xiao clan and the village of Kumogakure, and to exists as the pride of the Xiao clan excelling in martial prowess and the shinobi arts. One could say he is greedy seeking more than fame but infamy. It was not the need to be feared, but the need to be legendary through any means, and to be unrestrained by the restrictions that the village places on its shinobi.

•Clone Great Explosion - This technique is used to create a Shadow Clone that can be detonated. This clone looks like a normal shadow clone, which allows the user to get the clone close to the target without them expecting anything besides a normal attack or the target might even close in willingly to try to attack the clone. Using multiple tricks and diversionary tactics to disguise the nature of the clone can make this technique more likely to be effective.
• Chidori - This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces.
As shown against Killer B, Chidori can also be used to simply give the opponent a large electrical shock without impaling them.
• Chidori Nagashi - By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defence. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the Lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves," making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. This attack can also be channelled through the ground to increase the range of the attack.
• Chidori Senbon - This is one of many variations of the Chidori that uses shape transformation. It is specialised in more speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, all aimed at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases. It can become even more effective by using it together with the Sharingan, allowing the user to precisely shoot for the enemy's vital points.
• Chidori Eisō - The original Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses Shape Transformation to form the original Chidori into a spear/blade-shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks with a maximum range of 10 meters. Although it's less powerful than the Chidori, its increased range means there is less of a risk to the user. It also has the advantage of being able to be used for surprise attacks and capturing. When the enemy's body is pierced, the user can alter the spear's shape into multiple additional blades, increasing the number of wounds. The blade can also be swung in order to cut things as well as cause fatal injuries.
•Kirin - Kirin is an extremely powerful, one-shot, lightning technique. The user draws lightning directly from thunder clouds to supplement the power of his strike and controls it with chakra. Due to the technique using natural lightning, which reaches the ground in 1/1000th of a second, it is one of the most powerful lightning techniques. However, the preparation time required also decreases the technique's efficiency; if there are no active thunder clouds the user must create them by using fire techniques to produce the necessary storm conditions.
Once a lightning source has been acquired, shaping and guiding the lightning to the target requires very little chakra. In addition, usage seems to destroy the thunder clouds as the sky cleared up of clouds after use. As such, this technique can only be used once in a fight. The technique can completely annihilate a mountain.
• Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique - A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and expelled from the mouth in a massive orb of roaring flame or as a continuous flamethrower. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface.
• Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique - The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.
• Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique - This technique creates a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.
• Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique - The user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body and changes it into a dragon-shaped fireball. The user then skillfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. Even outside of the attack range, its power and reliability are stressed. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an upward movement of air currents which in turn can give rise to thunder clouds. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession and anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes.
Genjutsu
• Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique - Firstly, this technique requires the use of the Sharingan. The opponent is caught in the illusionary world created by the user, and the victim will be tormented with the sensation of having spikes driven through their limbs, taking away their body's freedom. At the same time, the physical pain accompanying the illusion reveals the greatest use this technique has is primarily for torture.
• Demonic Illusion: Burning Paper Body - This genjutsu requires the Sharingan and eye contact to be activated. The illusion traps the victim in a dark empty space where their body is made of paper that burns from toe to head while the user is watching. The technique will make it harder for the target to move properly.
• Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change - The user decrypts a genjutsu that has been applied onto them and casts back a technique with identical effects onto the opponent. It's a form of illusion reversal, but in order to instantly read through a technique and cast it in return, the Sharingan's power is necessary. As genjutsu is initially used to confuse the enemy, this technique, which sends it right back to its caster, deals a high amount of mental damage, more than anything else.

•Ephemeral - The user activates this technique by simply pointing at his target. When the technique was used on Naruto Uzumaki, crows flocked from Itachi and turned into shuriken that bombarded him, and then attempted to put him to sleep. When he resisted the sleep command, Naruto then experienced the sensation of his body parts turning into his closest friends who then tortured him psychologically.
• Dusk Crow Genjutsu - This unknown genjutsu can trap a victim in an illusion with no eye contact, similar to Ephemeral. The genjutsu traps the victim in a torrent of crows, leaving them at the user's mercy.
