A rather simple looking home purchased by Ghaleon's parents only just before he was born. Both of them having been muggleborn they wished to immerse themselves into the Wizarding world, and felt the old style house (Though by the looks of it, it may have very well have been an old pub) would fill the requirement they were looking for. As such Ghaleon doesn't have too much experience with muggle items.
The house itself is semi surrounded by a forest, Ghaleon's owl Dimitri often spends it's time hunting the area when home.

The house is a bit away from any muggle residence, but close enough to still get to any stores needed. It is uncommon that anyone from the nearby town shows up at the home, as the family tends to keep to itself outside family visits.

The basement is kept mostly off limits where Ghaleon's father often conducts his potion experiments (often complete botches but he still makes enough money to pay for part of the needed income).

There are three bedrooms, the Master Bedroom, Ghaleon's, and a guest room. The attic houses the few muggle items that the family has kept in it's possession.

Ghaleon's room is filled with a few variable items, as well as a desk and a wall wide shelf that houses an assortment of books.

(Will think of a more elaborate description for the house if I get the time =P)

Ghaleon Elmerast

The days passed by like usual, nothing of real interest had happened to the family during the summer so far. Ghaleon spent most of his time reading outside wile his owl hunted in the near by woods. His mother went to her job in the semi-near by city most day, and his father spent the majority of his own time down in the basement trying to come up with some new potion or elixer (Though it was a rare occasion that one worked.. and even rarer that even if it worked that it would prove to have any real practical use.) The family would often meet in the mornings and later in the evenings. While certain days on the weekend were spent together in the city at random places of interest.

Safe to say it had so far been what one may call a rather typical summer for the Elmerast family so far.

Ghaleon Elmerast

Ghaleon herd the ringing of the front door, to say it was unusual to have someone show up was like saying the desert was hot. Most likely it was just someone who got a bit lost if they'd come this far away from any of the other residences. He expected his father didn't hear anything in the basement so Ghaleon talked down the stairs from his room to see who was at the door himself.

He was rather shocked to say the least when he opened the door and saw Rosewood standing there. Though quite happy at the same time. "Rose! I didn't think I'd be seeing you again this soon." He said with a rather large smile on his face as he swung the door open more.

((Sorry for the late reply, been going rather slow and I forgot to check up the last day or two ^^ wink )

Ghaleon Elmerast

Ghaleon hugged her back and placed a kiss on her cheek. "No no, nothing as important as having you here." He said as he showed her inside, it looked rather plan as far as a wizarding home would go, there wasn't much in the way of muggle items despite his parents being muggle born. "Mom should be home soon, and dad is currently in the basement. No explosions yet today so I suppose things are going well down there so far." he said half joking, though there was a hint of seriousness in his statement as well. "I know it isn't much to look at but I'd be happy to show you around."

Ghaleon Elmerast

"Ah the explosions tend to be fairly safe, but on those rare occasions that dad has a more dangerous one mom tends to be able to help. She's a healer so yeah." Ghaleon said with a smile, as he took Rose's hand and showed her the usual odds and ends of the house. The living room was decorated to look as if it was from the 17th century, though there was a far amount of enchanted items doing random things.

Ghaleon was about to take Rose into the kitchen when there was a faint rumble and a thing veil of pink smoke covered the ground for a few mere seconds. "Well... um?" Ghaleon had a sheepish smile of his face. "That would be dad I suppose."

A few seconds later the basement door opened and out walked a man covered from head to toe (at least from the front side) in pink. He wore a pair of goggles over his eyes. Turning to both Ghaleon and Rose a smile slowly crept over his face that Ghaleon was a little worried might look a tad bit creepy to another person, or more importantly Rose.
He opened his mouth to speak.. but couldn't get a word out as a small furry face popped out of it, giving Ghaleon at least a small scare. Before Ghaleon could question what it was a chipmunk of all things ran out of his father's mouth and dashed to the nearest window. "Well... that was a side effect I hadn't exactly counted on." The man spoke, and lifted his goggles onto his forehead so that he could see better. "Ah.. Ghaleon if you could help me with the hose outside to get this dust off me?"

"Ah..sure dad sure.. but um?" Ghaleon replied and pointed to Rosewood.

"Oh! A muggle? I.. um? Oh dear.. um. Your mother tends to be better with the memory charms son, do you think you could distract her for a few minutes until your mother gets home?"

"Ah.. no dad, this is Rosewood, my..girlfriend." He said with a slight hint of embarrassment his dad was now causing him.
"Oh?... OH! Oh yes yes! Miss Rosewood, pleasure to meet you!" He was about to shake her hand but thought the better for it as he looked at his hand again. "Um? Yes.. I think perhaps I should get cleaned before a proper introduction." He said with a smile.

Ghaleon Elmerast

"Oh no, you go stay here with my boy. I won't be but a minute." He smiled and headed outside. "Oh, and call me Ethan.. Sir makes me feel about as old as I really am." He said with a light laugh at his attempt at a joke before he disappeared out the door.

"Um? Heh." Ghaleon didn't really know what to say right now. It wasn't exactly the way he'd have liked to have introduced his father. "Hopefully mom will be more... um? Sane-" He couldn't think of another word, though it seemed to fit none the less "-when you meet her." He said with a little bit of hope in his voice.

'Well Rose at least seems to be enjoying herself.' Ghaleon thought to himself with some relief. "Ah no, I'm sure my mom will love you. I also doubt she'd mistake you for a muggle." Hearing the time go off, Ghaleon walked over to the door and opened it up, not more than ten seconds later Dimitri swooped in with a loud hoot. Fluttering about until the bird found a place to perch, it blinked a few times before it spotted Rose. Blinking a few times and repositioning his head so as not to make sure it wasn't seeing things it gave a rather cheerful hoot at her. "Well, seems he hasn't forgotten you." Ghaleon said.

((GTG for now, will try to think of a good intro for Ghaleon's mom =P))

Ghaleon Elmerast

"Ah well, I more took your advice and have been trying to spend as much time as I can with him. I think it's helped a bit... but well I suppose time will tell." Ghaleon replied.

Not a moment later Ghaleon's mother Cheryl apparated herself to the front of the house, she gave her husband a look that would seem to give the impression she was about to ask him what had caused him to need to hose himself off but thought the better of it and simply opened to door. "I'm home" She called out to Ghaleon, though having just spotted him a second later with Rose right next to him.
She briefly wondered who Rose was but realized on her own quickly enough. "Oh! You look even better than the pictures!" She said with much enthusiasm in her voice, and Ghaleon began to wonder if this may turn out worse than his dad did. "Oh dear, where are my manors. I'm Cheryl Elmerast, Ghaleon's mother. I was starting to wonder if I'd get to meet you. Ghaleon really should have asked you to come over sooner." She paused briefly "Oh.. I do hope my husband didn't cause you any problems? I saw him outside and well I try not to involve myself much with his little experiments down in the basement, but I do hope he didn't cause any inconveniences for you? I remember this one time he grew an extra hand.. best not to say where of course but thankfully I was trained to handle such things. Which is odd that they would train a person in how to handle the safe removal of extra hands on a person, but well I certainly couldn't complain after putting it into use.... Oh.. sorry dear I tend to ramble a bit don't I? Tend to have to get a mile out of each breath when you have a husband that spends most of the day down in a basement though I suppose. It really is a pleasure to meet you though.. how are you? Has Ghaleon shown you around? He hasn't been fresh has he?" She said and gave Ghaleon a rather broad stare. "MOM!" Ghaleon said looking quite shocked and embarrassed.

'Dear lord Rose's parents weren't anywhere near this bad when I met them.. why did I end up with these two?' was all Ghaleon could think at that moment.

((I don't know did I play up the comedy a bit to much? I could certainly tone it down a bit for the mother at least I suppose =P))
