Welcome to the Strawberry Fields. Many Demeter children hang around here and enjoy the scenery along with the sickly sweet scent of the ripe strawberries. It’s a good place to relax and clear your mind as you lay in the grass, watching the clouds passing by. Flowers are blossoming as if it’s forever spring in the fields. It's a rather nice place - though there is the occasional Dionysus child trying to party every now and then.

They might not have been big enough for the Demeter and Dionysus campers to pick yet, but they were some of the biggest she'd ever seen. She abruptly picked one and stuffed it in her mouth, chewing thoughtfully. The daughter of Hermes plucked another strawberry, tossing it from one hand to the other. "Let's talk about you; I really do talk a lot sometimes. Tell me about yourself; you seem quite interesting."

Umm...I have a friend in New York, he's the one who brought me here. I like Egyptian myth and culture a lot more than any others, really...I read a lot, and I love National Geographic magazine, though I play video games too, sometimes. Obviously not here because there's no gaming areas, really...And...I don't really know what else there is. I found a fascination in the band Sonohra, which is Italian. Obviously, I like it for its name," he commented, chuckling a bit as he thought about it. "'Salvami' is my favorite song of theirs."╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗

She found the funny little quirks like about loving the National Geographic Magazines cute in its own way. She honestly didn't know how he could like it; the channel on TV put her to sleep. Lucky cocked her head at the name of the song. "Save me? Hm, I should listen to them one day. And you don't give yourself enough credit - you are interesting." After a moment, she asked curiously, "Can you tell me about your friend in New York? What's he like?" +

My money was all stolen from me in my first day when I was waiting for Blaine and his family at the airport. After he and I met, everything got better, for the most part. He taught me city life and made me mostly untouchable because he's friends with everyone." Ace paused, thinking about it. "The past few years have been fun, I think. It's a very busy life in the city, and when there were school trips, I could see some areas of the country. +Lucky winced when Ace mentioned something about being robbed. A person really had to be careful with loot in the US. She smiled. "I'm happy that you like it here. And I suppose it can be beautiful if you go to all the right places." Lucky had her share of sightseeing when she had been on the run. She'd been in every single state, and each one did have their own attractions. But she had found herself in some very nasty places as well, places that really shouldn't be described to someone new to the country. +

Lady GooGoo is a good singer, but I prefer her without the voice filters," he said, completely unaware just how off he was on the names. He never really knew, because he wasn't acquainted with the music. "But there is one American song that I love more than anything, and it's from a movie called Quest for Camelot! It's a cute little cartoon about the daughter of a knight of the round table, and Excalibur is stolen from King Arthur, so she goes on a quest to save Excalibur. She meets this blind boy and his song is my absolute favorite," Ace replied, completely perked up and happy. "I used to sing it to myself because I always felt that way. Once I actually went to the top of the Empire State Building to sing it. That was fun. No one heard me but Blaine."╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗

He reminded her of a small child just discovering how big the world really was. He really was quite cute when he got all excited. The daughter of Hermes fought the urge to say "aww" as he talked about the song from Quest for Camelot. "I remember that movie. I think I watched it in L.A. once. Would you sing it for me?" she asked hopefully. She'd forgotten the song and she wished to keep Ace in the mood he was in. +

You are not to roam in this forgotten place. Just the likes of me are welcome here. Everything breathes, and I know each breath. For me it means life...for others it's death. It's perfectly balanced, perfectly planned. More than enough for this man..." Ace stopped, looking at her. "That's the first phrase. I felt more like that in Sonohra, though I am getting the urge to find a way to the Underworld and explore it singing that. It would be so cool, until I trip on my face and get a concussion," he joked. He pulled his MP3 player from his pocket, never having been rich enough for a Zune or iPod. He checked the songs, and found it, playing "I Stand Alone" by Bryan White and handing the other earphone to Lucky. The daughter of Hermes had also secretly wanted to visit the Underworld since she knew of its existence. It was one of the two places she hadn't been to yet. Well, that and the moon. She took the MP3 Player and inserted the earphones. A warm feeling spread through her body, the kind she always got when she heard something inspirational. "It's a lovely song," Lucky said with a smile, handing Ace back his MP3 and earphones. +

Bad habits die hard." She stretched, looking around. "I was actually thinking of exploring some more. Care to join me? I promise you won't get caught." She never got caught. Lucky has gotten entire cities to evacuate, and no one had ever realized it was because of the work of one mischievous teenage girl. +
