.....Mona stood outside the cabin. She didn't really have much of a plan, but Cabin 10 was next to Cabin 8, so she supposed after visiting the honorary cabin of Artemis they'd go to see the Athena kids in 6, then the Demeter kids in 4, and eventually they'd get to the other end of the U that the main cabins were arranged in before going to either the lake or the second wing of cabins...or the forest. That sounded like a good idea. From hunters to forest. That could give Cinder a chance to meet other campers without invading their cabin space, and would probably give Ken the chance to show his new friend something wickedly cool. "This is an honorary cabin," said Mona. "It represents the Olympian Artemis, maiden huntress. Artemis has no children, so it's usually empty. But when Artemis's hunters visit camp, they stay here."

Ah, a light flickers in the ruined city

Now, the burned-down sky sinks to the bottom of the water

Following the others into the honorary cabin, Ken took a moment to sigh. As an honorary cabin, it was more clean and well-kept than the others, and its silver hue was rather beautiful to stare at. How could he not be amazed by it? Cinder still looked a little curious though; he walked beside him, looking at the giant statue in front of them. "Well . . . this cabin isn't always bare. Sometimes Artemis' huntresses stop by and visit for a little while. Besides, even if gods or goddesses don't have children, they still have cabins as a monument for them. Like Zeus' wife Hera . . ."

God, why was he rambling? His chest began to pick up its speed at the thought of it, keeping his gaze on the statue. "Ah, I apologize . . . I didn't mean to ramble like that . . ."

That was a question Ken had never heard anyone ask before. It was interesting, honestly, perhaps because most people didn't come to camp knowing a bit of mythology like Cinder had. But Ken shook his head in response, "Oh no. Apollo has quite a few children of his own. He hasn't sworn to remain a virgin as his sister had, hence why Artemis has her own group of huntresses. They've sworn off men and falling in love in exchange of immortality which is spent serving under her. Does that make sense?" he had inquired, looking at the newcomer.

"Well, let's see . . ." Ken had started, looking out at the door. Truth be told, he had never really thought that far into this trip. Heck, he had never even expected this random person to just come in and change whatever plans he may have had for later! But it wasn't an entirely bad thing, for the man was far nicer than he predicted, and not to mention pretty adorable . . . Dammit! he told himself, his chest skipping a beat. I'm not going to be thinking like this!

"You don't have to keep looking at the cabins if you choose not to. There's really no more vital ones that you have to see," he looked at the door, thinking of the different possibilities in his head. "but there is still more to the camp than just cabins . . . we have a lake, strawberry fields and so on if you want to look around at the camp itself instead of the cabins."

Well, that wasn't too bad of an idea. After all, you could see a lot in the forest, and Ken could maybe even teach Cinder about the ways of fighting. Even though the son of Aphrodite wasn't too fond of fighting beasts, everyone had to do it at some point. Ken knew this, and no one can escape fighting, no matter how much they might not like it. But he was still hoping that he would encounter a building before another beast.

And that reminded him . . . "That sounds like a great idea . . . but there are quite a few beasts there. Entering the woods unarmed is rather dangerous, so it would be best if you grabbed a weapon first. You did say you left a sword in Thalia's Pine, didn't you? I think we should grab it first before entering the forest."

Of course, Ken had decided to make Cinder's safety his top concern. He was a new camper, and Ken wouldn't forgive himself if something were to happen to him. Especially if it earned Cinder another visit to the Infirmary.
