Here the students of Ravenclaw hang out and do their homework. The entire room is covered in blue and bronze drapes. Tomes, quills and parchment scraps are everywhere. The furniture is a a wonderful shade of darkblue.

Rowan happily bounded up the steps to the Ravenclaw common room to face the door, and with it, the eagle-shaped knocker. It asked her, "What is harder to catch the faster you run?"
Roe stopped short and put her index finger to her mouth to think. "My breath!" she exclaimed happily.
"Nicely reasoned," the eagle complimented, the door opening. The girl continued on with her luggage until she reached the room she had been looking for. She dropped her trunk and her backpack in a pile and began exploring the deserted area.

Noelle walked slowly up to the doors her head buried in a book. The door asked her, "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" Without looking up from her book Noelle answered with, "A circle has no beginning." The doors swung open and she walked in. She walked into a common room and was surprised to find a girl already in there. "Hello." Noelle said as she set her trunk down on a bed. Noelle still hadn't looked up from her book.

Rowan didn't turn from the pile of quills she was inspecting. "Oh, hi. I'm Rowan, what's your name?"

"That's a pretty name." She said with a smile. "I'm Noelle." Finally she placed a bookmark in her book and looked up. "I'm so lucky to have been accepted." she said just making small talk.

"Thanks. Noelle...I like that name. It sounds familier," Rowan murmered, poking around in a drawer. She glanced at the girl with a grin. "Why is that?"

Noelle smiled. "I'm Muggle-born. My siblings have made it into hogwarts too. Well the ones that are old enough that is." she lay down on her bed and stared up at the tapestry.

Noelle laughed. "We had better. Maybe it's just the other houses over exaggerating our common room." she said with a smile.

Noelle stood up. "I would kill a Hufflepuff if that was true. No I think we do have our own library thankfully." she smiled again and looked out the window.

Noelle laughed. "I was only being sarcastic. Although some of them can get on my nerves. They are so bubbly. It almost makes me want to vomit."
