Ami and Alex's lonely mansion (come in!)

The Palmer Mansion, one of the most beautiful lots in Western Scotland, but only one of the many Chang family estates. Everyday, it basks in the gentle sunlight, and overlooks the gorgeous private beach. It contains numerous rooms, a golf course, horse stables, an arcade, a garden, movie theatre, bowling alley, an indoor skating rink, a gym, and is full of magical artifacts. Magical enchantments protect it from burglers or muggles who would freak out if they saw a house elf apparating or a birdbath cleaning itself. It has everything anyone could want, but there has never been any joy or love. The only people who lived there were a couple house elves, and Ami when she came back from boarding school. Alex usually spent summer vacation at the Falcon Estate near Durmstrang. Her parents, always busy with their very successsful luxury magical items company, have never even seen the house before. Perhaps some visitors would bring light to the dark?

Ami's Room(s)
The entire room is made out of clear crystal, but you can only see out of the room, for a magical enchantment prevents anybody from seeing in for privacy reasons. From inside the room, a magical illusion makes it seem like you are in a cool, snowy forest. Another magical enchantment prevents anyone not welcome by the owner to enter. Upstairs is a bed with a charm placed on it that makes you more relaxed and comfortable. Next to it is a sofa in front of a wizarding television that is able to receive all channels. Downstairs is another couch that sits in front of an advanced galaxy projecting system that allows you to explore our solar system.

Alex's room
The entire room gives out a clean but mysterious vibe. There isn't a single thing out of place, but it seems eerily empty. The walls are black, but the room itself is full of light from the huge windows overlooking the gorgeous seaside. to the left of the room is a king-sized white bed with a fresh change of clothes laid neatly on top. Hanging from the ceiling are a group of abstract lights that hang at different lengths. There's a boho-chic rug on the floor that heavily contrasts with the entire modern, black-and-white theme because of it's earthly tones, but it looked magnificent juxtaposed against the whit floor. Alex had never stayed in it before, so everything's brand new.

On the grounds, there is a pond the color of jade. In the middle of that pond is an island-like pool . You get to it by a houseelf apparating with you to the center, where you arrive at a place shaded by a tent and a barrier spell which allows it to remain cool and refreshing. There are a couple of seats and a table. There will always be a houseelf or two waiting to wait on your every need. When you are finally ready to dive into the pool, the houseelves snap their fingers and POP you'll instantly be dressed in the latest, most fashionable bathing suits. The four pools surrounding the tent are the prettiest color of aquamarine. There is a different enchantment in each quarter. The first one is filled with the most magnificent fish that are usually only found in coral reefs. The second one has two dolphins that swim along with you. The third quartile has an enchantment that allows you to swim in it without dying of hypothermia. The fourth section has an enchantment that when you say a color, the water will change into that color, illuminating the sparkling and cool pool.

Kitchen

The kitchen is flawless, not a thing out of place. It has a lime green-silver-white theme that makes you think one word, modern. The walls and are silvery-white, and they reflect the light streaming in from the large windows. To the left are three chartreuse magical refrigerators enchanted by a cooling charm which makes it stay at just the right temperature. Plus, it automatically grocery shops for you, and chooses only the best and healthiest ingredients for the house-elves to cook with. The entire house is, of course, powered by magic, so there is no reason to worry about power outages. In the center is a wizarding microwave. Muggle microwaves take too much time and sometimes things over heat or underheat. This one just ZAPS the food into the preferred temperature. The right wall is has many white cabinets, a couple grey stoves, and other cooking appliances. In the center of the room is a long, green, oval-shaped glass table. It is split sideways by a piece of glass. On both sides are the most comfortable chairs you will ever sit on. You almost never see the house-elves cooking because the wonderful equipment plus the house-elve's magic make cooking a breeze.

Zoe Dylan.........Third year

Zoe, who had walked out of the joke shop, had tried apparating to her home in Brighton but she was still had her mind set on the two wizardry siblings she met outside the quality quidditch supplies. Thus, when she opened her eyes, Zoe found herself on a top of a gigantic rock by a seashore. confused What the...Loosing her balance Zoe fell 10 feet down to the sea with a loud splash. However, surprisingly, she did not get hurt from the fall. It was like wind carried her down slowly to the water. But unfortunately, water was not that kind to her. Achchooo! Zoe Shivered as she reached the shore with a bruise in her right foot from a sharp rock. She look up and blinked. A big mansion stood tall, right up the rocky sea shore she was shivering in. Where the heck am I?!! ninja

A loud splashing sound interrupted the dinner the Chang siblings were having in the kitchen. It must have been a magical being, for the enchantments on the house prevented muggles from coming near. Alex, being the fearless one, immediately took out his wand, ready to blow the intruder to pieces if he had to. Ami, not wanting to let him go alone, also picked up her wand. Her brother had given her a couple lessons on dangerous curses...this was the time to test them out! The two creeped silently onto the private beach, hearts pounding. Suddenly, they spotted a dark shadow standing in the water. "Confringo!" yelled Ami, thinking it was a banshee. "Expecto Patronum!" shouted Alex, thinking it was a dementor.

(Hey! Oh...I'm leaving for xinjiang tomorrow...a remote place in western china where terrorists like to hide so im not going to reply for like....two weeks...maybe... ill try to get internet access. Oh, and you'll probably want to use protego...or else you'll erupt into flames if Ami aimed correctly.)

Zoe Dylan.........Third year

Lost in a strange beach, soaked from head to feet, not to mention the hurting bruise, Zoe limped a little along the rocky shore. She stopped dead seeing two dark figures emerging, more like creeping towards her. She raised her wand arm, her Mahogani wand clenched in it's fist, not to curse but to ask for some help. At the very moment the two figures shouted as one Confringo! Expecto Patronum! eek Zoe did not have time to think she bellowed the first spell that came to her mind. ProTego!! Zoe could not see what was the patronus like. The flames erupted from confringo charm were frightening. The shield charm Zoe used was saving her neck, but not for long. She took a deep breath and jumped behind a huge boulder shouting expelliarmus! It was rather dark and hard to aim.She was not sure if she hit them.

Alex's eagle patronus dissapeared as his wand flew out of his hand. The witch who cast that must have been rather good at disarming spells, he thought. Ami ran to the thing that was now collapsed behind a huge rock, with Alex right behind her. Instead of seeing an evil wizard assassin, they saw a very battered Zoe. Alex almost had a heart-attack right then, and Ami immediately helped her friend up. He grabbed his wand and muttered "Episkey." Now that she was healed, a house-elf apparated them inside the house and got them all cleaned up. They also gave her some clothes from the new Chanel collection. "It's great to see you again!" exclaimed Alex. "We really didn't mean to almost kill you....sorry about that, it's just that we rarely get any visitors." He smiled. "Since you're here, do you want to spend the night? We have may guests rooms to choose from, and you can use your muggle...cellypho thingy to contact your parents. It's already very dark. What do you say?"

Zoe Dylan.........Third year

Zoe, now all healed and cleaned up, sat on a comfy sofa in Changs' big mansion, still rocking back and forth in confusion. I don't know how I get here. I was just trying to apparate home. I think you two popped up in my head just then. sweatdrop I should practice more before trying apparating again. She said looking up at the Changs. You two are unbelievably paranoid!! Good thing I'm good at the shielding charm. Zoe barked remembering the scary flames.

However Zoe stood up as she nodded to Alex's suggestion. It's cell phone. She said suppressing a giggle. But I'm afraid it wont work here. The air has too much magic in your home. I'll try my twin mirror. So she got out a handsome mirror out of her side bag and yelled at it. MOM....DAD....... ZEN....ZACH...... anybody there!! Just then two identical muggle boys around 16, appeared in the mirror. ZOE! They exclaimed in relief. Weren't you told to come straight home from that Leaky Bucket or something?. Asked a furious Zach. It's Leaky cauldron. Zoe snapped. Listen Zen, Zach.... So Zoe began. She explained everything happened (edited in to a much innocent version of course). Tell mom and dad, I'll come home, first thing tomorrow morning. She waved good night to her brothers and turned to Changs stuffing the mirror back to her bag. Nice place you got!

"Yeah, Thanks. I guess it is, but the one in Hong Kong is nicer..." mused Ami. Their converation was interrupted by a red letter delivered by a brown speckled owl flying through the open window. It was dropped on Alex's lap, where it opened up and started talking. "To Mr. Alexander Chang and Ms. Amanda Chang. We, the Ministry of Magic, have detected that you have used magic underaged. Your guardians have been notified of this, and will deal with this problem immediately. " It then shredded itself into little pieces, which floated onto the ground. "Oh no! I've completely forgotten!" exclaimed Ami. They then heard a faint pop and the front door open.

*there was a terrorist attack near where i was staying so im temporarily at a hotel...yippee*

Zoe Dylan.........Third year

Zoe bit her lip as she listened to the howler. How could I forget!! She mumbled doing a violent face-palm. Any time now, they'll be sending me one. This underage restriction is a pain in the neck. Zoe said to the two Changs. What do you think will happen to us. a hearing?!

As the front door opened Zoe walked towards the living with the Changs, hoping against hope that they'll just be dealt lightly. A hooded figure stood talking to one of the Changs' house elves. Is that a Ministry representative? Zoe mouthed to Ami

Really? Terrorists? that's nasty. Anyways good to hv u back .

omg im sooooooooo sorry for not replying in a long time...its a really long story involving stupid relatives, a missed flight, and a very angry border policeman



Ami froze when she saw the hooded figure. Alex immediately took action. He grabbed Zoe’s hand and dragged her upstairs to his room. “Stay here and don’t make a sound.” he whispered. Then, he quickly slid down the staircase and sprinted to the entrance to join his sister, blurting out strings of profanity with each step. The hooded figure waved her wand, and the entire hall became illuminated by a warm glow. She took off her cloak and revealed a tall and thin woman in her mid-thirties wearing a midnight blue ball-gown, glittering sapphires, and the newest pair of Jimmy Choos (lolz I just love the name.) Long, silky hair the color of ebony cascaded just past her shoulders. Her skin was flawless, not a wrinkle in sight, despite her getting on in her years. Her big black eyes seem to stare right at you, as if she could read your thoughts. But if beauty was only skin deep, she’d be horrifyingly ugly. “Hello mother.” mumbled Ami and Alex.
