Here there are trees and benches. It's the center of the city. You can take your dog for a walk here, breathe in some fresh air, jog and run. There are water fountains and little bridges. Small play areas for children. It's the normal hang-out for pre-teens. There is also a small lake in the center of it. You aren't allowed to swim in it but you can feed the ducks.

Siren walked along the seats of the benches, all placed in a convienent line. She sang her song to herself to work out the bugs and smooth over the notes, getting a feel for it until she came to a bench that was beside a tree whose branches were shorter than most. She reached for the branch that hovered over the bench and jumped, swinging herself into the branches to settle herself in a nook in the truck. This was her favorite place to sit, think, and sing; the coffee house was for writing and drinking.

 Raven padded slowly from a grove of trees. Running the tips of her fingers against the sharp barks of the trees, she hummed a wordless song under her breath. Blinking, she heard the throaty meow of Buyo and allowed a small grin to paste over her features. Although she didn't see the cat, she heard him ahead, probably a couple feet or two. "Down Buyo, down. Hey Cloud, when are you going to stop jogging? By the sound of it, you're breathing pretty hard." She murmured with raised brows. "When you stop singing and humming that girly crap, I'll stop." He snapped in irritation. Cloud's heartbeat drummed against his ribs, as if threatening to explode from his chest. His ears and temples pounded as he took sharp, short breaths in and out. The rhythmic beat of his breathing broken when he nearly crashed over Buyo, the forsaken cat Raven adored. Narrowing his eyes into a glare, he scowled darkly as he brushed imaginary dust off his baggy pants and tank top. "Get a leash on that thing already." He muttered while throwing himself back on pace. Buyo mewled lazily for Raven, which further deepened his foul mood. She just had to bring the cat.

Siren leaned forward in her tree, peering through the leaves to see two people emerge from a grove further on. Squinting, she saw a little black, "Cat. They must be chasing it," she reasoned. Satisfied with her answer for what they were doing, she settled back against the truck and proceeded to forget them for an ant crawling across her knee. I wonder if I could get a song out of this, she mused.

Raven didn't notice as Buyo wandered farther and father away. She was fixated on a particular tree as she rubbed her fingers on the bark, leaves and trunk. As she persisted to annoy Cloud, Buyo bounced further and further away. The tom cat crouched, pouncing on each passing shadow with a growl or snarl. After a few leaps and bounds, the ebony cat yowled in what could be considered as annoyance. Perking it's ears, the young tom stealthily stalked towards the tree where Siren was, intent on investigating the new scent he sniffed from a wind's breeze.

A yowl broke Siren of her reverie. Curious, she shifted in her nook until she could peer down to the ground to see the black cat from earlier. She smiled to herself as she watched him attack the trees' misleading ghosts, becoming more interested when he started coming her way. "Cat, you are going the wrong way. Your friends are back there," she informed him.

Buyo meowed in alarm at the sudden attention he wasn't expecting. Dropping onto his haunches, he flattened his ears to his skull and tilted his head to the side, as if contemplating his response. In the end, the cat twisted his head to gaze behind him, before flicking his tail tip. Bunching his hind legs behind him, he launched onto the trunk of the tree and easily climbed until he reached her. Twitching his nose, he blinked, and growled playfully.

Siren moved back to allow the cat room to climb up and mimicked his growl, blinking back at him. "What, you want to play, puss? I've got time," she said, holding out a cautious hand to the creature, silently asking permission to pet him.

Buyo purred, bristling his fur as he unsheathed his claws. Digging his claws into the trunk of the tree, he waved his tail to and fro. At the hand, Buyo reached out and poked it with his paw, careful not to slash the flesh of her hand.

Siren shrugged and retracted her hand, taking it as a rebuff. "At least you are polite. My own cats wouldn't hesitate to scratch or bite, and they've known me their entire lives," chatted the girl conversationaly. She propped her elbow against her knee and rested her head in her palm to watch Buyo. "Wonder what your name is. Too bad I don't speak cat."

Buyo meowed in return, dipping his head as if to say, You poor soul. Buyo took a few steps closer, balancing with ease as he heard Raven and Cloud continue their bickering. Rolling his eyes, the cat purred as it rubbed it's forehead on the girl's chin.

Siren smiled and rubbed his ears, tuning out the sound of voices. "Well aren't you cute?" she murmered to him, admiring the cat's sleek frame. Reaching out an arm, she caught a leaf between her fingers and tugged it off the branch. She wiggled it against the trunk of the tree, trying to catch his attention with the makeshift toy.

Buyo snapped his head towards the leaf, body tense. Dropping into a crouch, he waggled his haunches. Rumbling a sort of throaty half growl half purr, he stared attentively at the leaf.

Siren grinned at the cat's response. She gave the leaf a twitch, a wiggle, then snapped it to another area on the trunk. Twisting her fingers, she made it dance and spin to entice Buyo to attack.

 Jake climbed a tree and sat there looking at the sky. He sighed and yawned and leaned back relaxing.
