This Route has a few pokemon like Pidgey and Ratatta. Trainers tend to hang around here so if you want to battle then go out and win some! To the south is Pallet Town.

As Ruby followed down the path of Route 1 she stopped and looked up at the Zorua sleeping on the top of her head. "Zorua, wake up." She said as she picked up the tiny fox-like creature from her head. "Time to train. Let's see if we can find anyone around." She said, looking around for any trainers or random pokemon.

 Lyra walked down the path of route one madder then a hatter, or maybe as mad as a hatter. "Andrew!" She screamed with such rage that it most likely would make a child cry. She turned behind her to see five pokeballs on the ground. "Holy--" She picked them up and looked at her bag. There in the right corner was a hole. "Pokemon crap." She put the pokeballs into her pocket and continued screaming looking for Andrew, her so-called "brother'. The mare thought made her was to vomit.

 As Ruby continued to walk around the path she heard someone yelling. Damn... I wonder what's going on... She thought. "Zorua, come here." She said grabbing the mischievous little pokemon. "Shhh...I can see someone." She looked from behind a tree and saw a girl picking up five pokeballs on the ground, then put them in her pocket. Weird...aren't people around this part supposed to have one starter pokemon? She questioned as she saw her walking away. I guess it wouldn't hurt to follow... She thought quietly following the girl

Lyra snickered in annoyance, the girl/boy wasn't doing a very good job at keeping quiet. She could use one of her new pokemon to scare the girl or boy, what ever the person was. 'Nah, if I can fine Andrew maybe he will take care of he...she...it..' She thought.

Andrew hopped down and said"sorry about the'sibling' thing but my mind went blank and i blurted it out"He noticed that she looked about to vomit if he said the family thing again
His joltik leaped out of the tree and landed on his head

"Zorua, stop making noise I want to know what's going on." Ruby whispered trying to keep her pokemon quirt as she saw the girl meet up with a boy. What the hell is going on...

Lyra sighed at the kid. Why did the boss let him join? She thought coldly, before thinking bout exposing the hiding person. She threw a pokeball in the air and out came Pignite. "P-Chan, Ember on the bushes." Then she called out another Pokemon, a squirtle. "Use water gun after P-Chan." She said coldly.

"Oh crap!" Ruby yelled jumping out of the bushes as they were lit on fire. As soon as she did she was hit with the water gun. "Damn...Whatever, where did you get those other pokemon? I'm very curious since they people around here have one starter." Ruby said now soaking wet. "Well it looks like Zorua will be getting a battle after all...

Lyra looked at Andrew and smiled, " Just don't mess it up like the last." She said, then turned to Ruby. "I travel a lot little girl, it shouldn't matter to you how I got my pokemon." She said in the coldest tone she could.

Zorua got caught up in the web. Okay...what was it again... oh yeah. Joltiks are bug/electrics... She thought trying to plan the next move. "Damn...Zorua, faint attack!" Ruby yelled. "Zorua!"
