Zero finds herself at a dark and very creep shrine. Once, long ago, this shrine used to be beautiful and well known. Now, it lays in ruins, forgotten. There have been stories about spirits luring in young people, and having then never returning. The protector of Ryugen Shrine is desperate and has enlisted Zero and Akito to help get rid of the restless spirits. Can they do it. And was does Zero's past have to do with the spirits and the giant red Sakura tree that had taken bloom smack in the middle of the shrine? They're going to find out.

Zero stood in front of Ryugen shrine, in full armor, her sword on her back. She had no idea of how she ended up here. And she was getting a very creepy vibe from the place. 'Maybe I should call Akito...this place is creeping me out." she thought.

"Hey, Akito." Zero replied. "And I don't know. I was thinking about you a mintue ago and here you are." she said. "Anyway, what do you think of this shrine?" she asked, looking at him.

"Boring, eh. What would you do if I told you that the shirne is haunted?" Zero replied, tilting her head to the side. "Let's go in and see." she added, grabbing his hand and heading to the shrine gates.

"Ah, don't be such a downer, Akito." Zero said, locking her arm with his. "Oh, you're finally here!" came a voice from inside the shirne. Out came a priestess, running towards them. "You must be the exorcists I called for." she said, looking at them both. "Um...I think you got the wrong people..." Zero started to say, but was cut off by a deep, bone-chilling moan.

"Then what would make it more exciting?" Zero asked, eyeing the Sakura tree that stood in the middle of the shrine. The petals were red. How strange. She felt a connection to the tree somehow.

"I knew you would say that." Zero repliedm shaking her head. "Well, you may get oine soon enough." she replied. The preistess told what had happen, begged them to defeat the ghosts then ran off to who knows where.

"You can stay here if you like while I'll go explore." Zero said just as something came flying out of the shrine, embedding itself inside the tree beside her. "What the...?!" she said, removing a ceremonial dagger from the trunk. "Hey, Akito. what do you make of this dagger?" she askedm turning to him.
