The living room is the part you see right away when you come in through the door. The kitchen is right next to the living room and is easily the biggest, most well-kept area of the house since Mayli is in there every day cooking. Mayli's bedroom is the biggest, and well-decorated one. But it's only because she's the one with the actual job. Zori`s is down the hall and is very reminiscent of her room back at home. Probably because most of the furniture is from her old house, since she couldn't afford much new furniture since Mayli spent so much money on the kitchen. They have one small bathroom in between the bedrooms.

Luckily for Zori it was summer, and even luckier, there were no chores. The sisters cleaned after themselves and themselves only. You made a mess, you pick it up. There really were no exceptions. Zori made her bed, fed Timothy, and went to the living room to watch TV. There was nothing on at six in the morning on a weekday, so she ended up just watching the news, which was full of fluff and extremely uneventful, boring things. Just like the entire town was. "Why is there nothing to dooooo?" She groaned to herself, rolling her head back to rest on the sofa and closing her eyes. She hasn't been this bored in years. Her iPod and laptop, her only means of entertainment, were charging, and she really was at a loss at what to do. At least back at the farming town you could ride cows and stuff. Nirvani had none of that fun, or at least not legally.
When Zori's bored, she eats. This wasn't any different. She got boring old tortilla chips from the boring old pantry, sat back down on the boring old sofa, and watched the boring old news on the boring old TV. Oh, what a life. A random guy from the street could jump in front of her and start belly dancing, and she would welcome it as a way to keep herself interested. Maybe she should go for a run. Nah, she'll just wait and hope someone in Nirvani can belly dance and is interested in doing it for free.

"You know," Mayli brought over the blender and then started peeling the banana. "I got up early hoping to be able to make you something for breakfast, why do you keep getting up earlier?" She expected no reply. So she sighed as she measured out the supplies and dumped them into the blender. Her eyes were downcast as she made the smoothie without thinking. She pressed the button and the contents swirled in a mass of pink. What was she doing here? She loved to cook, but there was something missing in her life... She needed a boyfriend again, of that she was certain. Mayli half smiled at the thought of someone to love her, but only half because the rest of her feelings were busy thinking about how even though they have been living there for at least 2 days, she knew no one. She looked up at her sister once again as she poured the drink into two cups.
"Have you met anyone yet?" she said as she walked over putting her sister's cup on the coffee table in front of her.

Smooooothie. Zori watched as her sister make the 'breakfast' item in a blender. She was pretty sure smoothies weren't meant for breakfast. But, neither were tortilla chips. Although she knew Mayli would be making her some, she continued to nibble on the stale chips they brought with them on the boat. "Apparently you didn't get up early enough." She really should stop mumbling. "I never went to sleep, cause the timezones are all funky!" Not sleeping was kind of a thing for her, but she was pretty sure she fell asleep in the middle of the night when she was making a journal out of boredom. Yes, making. She was quite the crafty one, literally and metaphorically. "But it's alright, it takes a lot of dedication to wake up earlier than me. I don't blame you. I wish I could sleep in."
Usually she would not drink thins she deemed 'health drinks' but this seemed alright, since it had sugar in it. Anything with sugar was bad for you, but everything has sugar because your body needs it to live! "Psh, no. They'll probably be as boring as the town." She took a sip of her smoothie, set it down with neutral feelings about it, and leaned back against the sofa. "Sigh. I'll probably go out to the mall later today. Wait, THEY DON'T HAVE ONE." The girl was looking forward to exploring the town and the surrounding areas, and finding as much good about the town as possible, but for now she could be grumpy. Plus, she just liked to talk. "In all seriousness, I'll probably set out for the beach in a couple hours. Maybe I'll stumble across someone. I have to wait for my iPod to charge, though. You going anywhere?"

The beach eh? Mayli thought of it, the sound was very appealing, she was dying to try on her new bathing suit... But she had just started and felt embarrassed to go out in public, especially the beach where potentially hot males could be sunbathing... But she shook it off and decided that she would just grab a cute pair of shorts and a short cut-T. "I'll come to the beach with you, just let me change" Mayli chugged the last of the smoothie, she hated wasting food if at all possible. After putting the glass in the sink she ran into her bedroom, excited. This was her chance to meet some new people. And MAYBE one of them might be THE one... Giggling a happy tune Mayli spent the next 20 minutes trying to plan the perfect beach wear to meet her true love.. She decided on the top of her bathing suit, a two piece all black with red little hearts all over at random. For pants she grabbed a dark pair of jean shorts.

"I said in a couple hours, but now works too..." Zori said, but her sister was already gone, ignorant in her own bliss. She was too excited to meet someone. Apparently she didn't have friends at home she could text, like Zori did. Maybe that was why she was so desperate for friends. She turned sideways and sprawled herself on the sofa, one hand on the smoothie. Ew, it was already getting warm... there's nothing worse than a warm smoothie. Already in the kitchen with an idea, she lined another glass with foil and poured the warm smoothie in, then stuck it in the empty freezer. They would have to go grocery shopping soon. But, she would have a nice popsicle upon their return.
Bathing suits were not something Zori thought were really important, since for her whole life no one had a pool and it took a seven hour drive to get to any sort of beach. She didn't realize that since this was an island, she would be spending a lot of time around water. There was only one swim suit in her dresser, and it was a plain white, so she put it on. It took her around a minute and thirty seconds to strip completely and put the bikini on. It was a little small, but it would work. She'd get another one later. After topping herself off with a Dunder Mifflin shirt and shorts, she was all set to go.
Maybe she would get a tan because boy was she pale. The SPF 100 sunscreen she grabbed probably wouldn't help, but the last thing she wanted was a burn. "I'm ready when you are," Zori shouted through the thin walls. She knew it would be at least half an hour before they left, since Mayli takes forever to get changed.

Tears filled her eyes as the memories of this betrayal filled her thoughts. But quickly she rubbed her eyes as she heard her sister yell from down the hall. She couldn't let her sister see her like this. Mayli hadn't told anyone the real reason why she wanted to move, or even what happened. She wanted to stay strong for her little sis. Even though Zori was strong minded and independent, Mayli knew that she also needed someone to laugh at, because she saw deep down how sad Zori was. So years ago when Zori was brought back from boarding school, Mayli made an oath to always be there for Zori in what ever way she could. It was a little dramatic of a statement, and if Zori ever heard Mayli thinking like this, she would never hear the end of it. But it gave Mayli some sort of meaning for life and that's all she really needed at this point.
"Almost ready!"Mayli called back to her sister as she finished up putting on the powdered cover up and grabbed her purse.She double checked to make sure her wallet was in there, they would have to go grocery shopping after the beach, and it'd be horrible to leave that behind. With one final look back on her room, she took a deep breath in and put on her best smile, and walked out to greet her sister.

Another new human in her list. These girls hadn't been too long on the island, but they were an intriguing pair. For two who internally had mixed feelings about each other, they sure complimented each other very well. The eldest was a little... fluffy, but Iris encouraged that. It wouldn't be very fun if she was always down-to-earth. Though some people did find it annoying, Iris found it quite lovely. But she was scatterbrained herself so what could you expect? This home didn't post any threat to Iris' self or time, so she moved quickly enough, remembering she had other homes to visit of course. The bedroom was well decorated and well kept. It was... so bright~ Iris stopped at the desk that held a computer and left a letter addressed to Mayli White and a green Popsicle on a plate next to it. Now the letter was quite artistic itself, as the whole message was written to form an odd shape, this one wasn’t so odd actually, it was just her name Mayli. Of course instead of clean lines, it was words! Well this one was done~ Or so she thought... apparently fairy cold next to a computer caused it to crackle... Uh oh... Well she was leaving before she knew if it was damaged or not!

Such a curious little person I see. It's fun to watch you Mayli, after all you've been out and about a few more times than some people! I want to see what else you have going on in your mind~ It must be so fun in there! Could it be clouds and rainbows and puffs galore? Or maybe it's quite the opposite of the cheery expression you present and it's actually depressing, sad, but a bit poetic? So many possibilities~ Maybe you could help me get some insight? Come visit me~ We can talk and I'll be helpful and you'll be sweet and more!

 Where was next? Why, the White household! Hyacinth hovered her way through the lush frontyard and right in through a window, noticing to her own disbelief that Iris had managed to come in before she! How odd.. But, well, that was Hyacinth's fault for not doing her schedule properly! She would have to straighten that out later - for now, she went straight on to Zori's bedroom, already poofing in a jar the size of the regular jam-jar's one would find within a supermarket, the top with holes poked through as, within the object, was several dozens of fireflies. She entered the teenagers room and set the jar down on the desk, leaving a letter addressed to Zori White written in neat cursive. After assuring herself that it was all neat and visible for the girl, she left the home to continue in her duties.
" I do not know you, Zori, and I doubt you are aware of myself either. However foolish that would be, I digress. Zori, I shall remain short in what I have to say to you. I have looked over your life and I am rather.. displeased. You see, I have spotted so much potential – so much diligence, respect, and things of that like within you – before you suddenly dropped into any other degenerate on this island! Was it really just your parents you were trying to impress with all that hardwork before? It's pathetic that you can't do something for yourself! Do you really have such a low expectations that your laziness is the sole thing you can accomplish when there is no one there to prod you in the correct direction?! Go find yourself a job, STUDY, and do it for yourself! There is no better satisfaction than a job that benefits your personal being rather than done for a small chance at approval! You will earn your approval with time and effort, Zori, and I guarantee it will earn you more than some cheap make up could ever bring.
I would have given you a pack of rats, Zori, but since you are new.. I am giving you a chance. Come speak to me if you need advice and, trust me, you are in definite need of advice."
