Vissarion Ivanski Track, a basic class. Many students were running themselves to death. You had the unfit, lazy teens in the very back, already giving up on running and just walking. Then there were the normal kids that could keep their own, or at least until class was over. They ran at a good pace, but exhaustion was clearly printed on their face. After that there were the atheletes, people who lived for this stuff. They were way ahead of the pack and pushed themselves past too far. And though they were fast, there was one man in front of even them: young blonde haired man with an eyepatch over his right eye. The man had a cold expression on his face and didn't seem to care about the world around him.

Alice was running, her pace was good. She was ahead of everybody as usual. She had ear buds in her ears.She was listening to violin music, she already finished hr laps but she wanted to see how long she can go. Soon after ten laps, she stopped and sat on the bench, she looked up at the sky. She smiled a bit.

 The blonde man finished running around the track and ran towards the bleachers. He ran up the steps quickly and sat in the middle and top of the bleachers, picking up the water bottle he left there. Sighing, the Russian sat down and drank some water, thinking of the new things he could do in a place that wasn't in Russia.

The boy noticied a girl looking at him for a while. She was cute, but she might be German, too, and those were something a Soviet like him couldn't stand. "You need something?" he asked, having a Russian accent.

"Viss?" Vissarion raised an eyebrow. "What is Viss?" he asked. "What is nickname?" He didn't even hear the word 'nickname' in Russia. Was this an American insult? The young man's confusion only raised his caution against the girl.

It took a few minutes for Vissarion to fully understand what Alice was saying since he was still learning English. "I prefer Vissarion. Name is great honor in Motherland." he said rather proudly and actually smiled when he talked about his name.

Vissarion quickly looked at Alice when she spoke Russian. She cannot be Russian if she doesn't know about Vissarion, he thought then noticed her watch, instantly understanding. "Vam ne nuzhen perevodchik, ya v poryadke izucheniya angliĭskogo yazyka. Provoditʹ vremya? Vy hotite, chtoby povesitʹ?" he said back in Russian. It was nice to be able to speak normally every now and then. (Translation: You do not need a translator, I am fine learning English... Hanging out? You want to be hanged?)
