To whomever this apartment is assigned,
This is your own place. Do with it as you wish, but you must stick to the general floorplan [as exemplified by the pics in the "About the Complex" sticky]. You may have guests over and you may move in with other residents. Keep in mind, however, that every apartment on the first and second floors has only one bedroom. The third floor contains apartments with two bedrooms. You may move to the third floor at any time though one of the management must be notified first.

Again, feel free to personalize your apartment and alter it as you see fit.
Have fun!

~Deirdre

The Apartment:
The apartment is rather neat, with the exception of a few cameras and random papers lying around. The pictures originally there are now inhabiting her closet - in their place are movie posters for obscure foreign romance films and experimental films that the meer mortal could not understand without a Mensa I.Q. or a lot of drugs. The television is covered in a mix of Oscar classics, experimental films, and DVDs of other film student's work. The kitchen looks almost abandoned, with the exception of a few pots that still have remains of ramen and pastas. There's a laundry hamper near the kitchen counter. It's there because it's conviently close to the door, so the resident doesn't have to walk so far to drop off her laundry.

The Resident:
Chadron Harris is 5'1'', with platinuim blonde hair and purple-esque eyes. She is biologically a female, but Chadron doesn't believe in gender as a defenition, nor does she believe she is entirely female [I will refer to Chadron as female, however]. She normally wears t-shirts bought from the art students at the school, meaning that her shirts usually have nothing more than a random symbol or picture on them. She rotates between khakis and black pants. Her main shoes are a pair of boots her great-uncle wore during his time in the Air Force, though she also has a pair of sneakers. She is normally found writing on the typewriter she inherited or fiddling with the camera for her next project.

Chadron turned and saw the girl enter her apartment. Damn, how long had she left the door open? The camera equipment had been heavy and bulky, but she didn't think she'd have been so excited as to leave the door open. But she sighed. It was a neighbor. Just a curious neighbor poking her head in to say hello. Nicely dressed, too. And the dye job was quite interesting. Chadron stood up, still holding the two lenses, and smiled, nodding towards the girl.

"Hi." She said, brushing back her hair out of her eyes, "Good to meet you. Sorry I didn't respond immediately," Chadron placed the lenses on the side table and walked forward, "I've got some camera equipment to put together." Chadron stuck out her hand, attempting to be friendly.

"Hi, I'm Chadron." She said. "I just moved here. Good to meet you."

Axi looked at Chadron and smiled. She was so sweet, she hoped to become great friends with her. She didn't really know anyone else in the building, it was nice to finally have a sweet neighbor. She nodded, "Mm, yes its always nice to meet the people you live closest to, hehe." She said giggling slightly, she pushed her glasses further up on her nose then they were, she didn't find time running in from the rain outside.

"Its my pleasure, I've been meaning to atleast meet someone in this building heh, just havent gotten around to it, until now." She said smiling slightly.

Axi smiled sweetly at Chadron. She bit her lip slightly looking into Chadron's eyes. "D.. Do you mind if I come in?" She said softly. She held her hands together in front of her.

"Oh, of course, come in." Chadron stepped sideways and opened the door a bit wider, offering for Axi to come in. "Sorry, the apartment's a mess - I'm usually not expecting guests." Chadron eyed the camera equipment on the table, the storyboards on the counter, pieces of script and film everywhere. Damn. She really did need to clean. Hopefully Axi wouldn't notice - or would write it off as silly college student stuff. How old was she? The blush made her look younger. Hopefully she wasn't too young, but still, it was hard to guess. Axi was what Chadron's great uncle would have called a "Dolly Lolita."

"Would you like some tea or something?" Chadron said, attempting to be friendly in spite of the chaos in her apartment. "I've got some green tea somewhere, but I've also got some mix sampler thing that came in my 'Welcome to College' bag." The mess. Oh god, when Axi left, Chadron silently swore she'd clean up. Then it wouldn't be so bad to leave the door open by accident.

"Mm, thank you, but I'm just fine, want me to help you clean up?" She said smiling over her shoulder at Chadron. She didn't mind it, her apartment looked the same way when she moved in, heck there is probably still sound wires hanging around.

She picked up some of the camera equipment on the table as she sat down, looking around the room seeing all the camera equipment. "Mm, a photographer, this could be fun." She thought to herself as she blushed and smiled at Chadron.

Axi pushed her hair back as she sat down on a chair next to the table, she moved it a bit so she could see Chadron, where she was atleast. She looked over at her again and smiled. "How are you liking your new apartment so far?" She asked leaning back into the chair slightly.

"You're too kind." Chadron said, smiling as she moved into the apartment and picked up the lenses she'd been holding, placing them in a soft case sitting on the hamper. "I was never much of a housekeeper. I hardly ever cleaned my room. My great-uncle, Uncle Richie, used to say, 'Chadron, this room is so messy that I could build a trench in here and stay safe until the end of the war.' Heh. I guess that's not that funny, but it's what he used to say whenever I didn't pick up my room."

Chadron placed the camera in the middle of the table, squaring it up with the rolls of film around it, the undeveloped film on the right, the new film on the left. Heh. Old Uncle Richie. What a hoot, the baudy vet. He would have loved the apartment, though he would have probably cracked a bad war joke upon its current state. That was his way, wasn't it?

"How are you liking the new apartment so far?"

"Oh, the apartment?" Chadron said, coming to her senses. "It's nice. It's close to the university, so I get to sleep in before I have to catch the bus."

Axi blushed and smiled at Chadron as she commented. She giggled at Chadron's joke as their eyes met for an instance. "I'm not much of a housekeeper either now that I think about it." She said almost laughing.

Axi laid her head down on the table, hoping Chadron wouldnt mind. She yawned slightly as she watched her smiling and biting her lip gently. She took her hair out of its ponytail and let it fall freely.

She took her glasses off and placed them next to Chadron's camera, yawning just slightly as she continued to watch Chadron move about.

"Well thats good," She blushed a little "what university do you goto?" She asked, she grew a tad curious.

Chadron smiled. Axi. Nice chick. Geez, how young WAS she? Certainly if she was her age, she'd go to Morgain University. But of course, perhaps she went to Charleson College - occasionally she saw kids from there wandering about, and some looked even younger than Axi.

"I go to Morgain. It's about a thirty minute walk from here. Kinda big, but they have a great art department. I'm studying film and photography - god only knows where I'll use it, but who knows." Chadron said, turning. Axi had her head on the table, with her hair falling freely and hanging in sleepy, calm waves. Cute. Chadron sat down on the sofa, took a film cannister, and started loading it with film.

"So, do you go to school around here?" Chadron asked, clicking in the canister.

"I don't currently goto school." She said as she blushed, her life was dedicated to her music right now. She placed her arms up on the table and looked at Chadron sitting on the couch and smiled a bit.

She smiled as she closed her eyes slightly still focused on Chadron. She started to think about how much fun they could have, photography and all.

"I wonder if they have a music program there." She said lightly as she sat up, running her hand through her hair.

"Oh yeah." Chadron finished loading the camera and clicked the camera shut. "It's not a great one, but they've created some good talent. The main teacher there is Margurite - cute chick, most amazing musician. Rocks the guitar like a convict splits rocks. She's a total b***h if you're not a musician, though."

Chadron twisted around on the couch, hiding behind its back. Slowly, she rose up, little by little, until her eyes showed above the couch. She saw Axi, with her eyes slightly closed, looking at her. The camera was showing slightly above the couch, too, where its eyes would have been if it had any.

"I'll bet you I'll show her a thing or two on the bass." She giggled thinking about it, she wondered if she could even apply, if she could even get in.

She smiled, she wanted to take Chadron to her apartment, they could have a lot of fun there, taking pictures and playing music, she could probably even teach Chadron since she had 2 other guitars there, other then her bass.

Axi blushed at Chadron as she pointed the camera at her, she stretched, her brunette hair with green tips flowing as wind lightly blows through the window.
