Master Healers
These rats have learned all they can about healing others.
There are an unlimited number of Master Healers, but the positions are mostly only held by Elders or adults that has proven themselves.
Journeyrat Healers
These rats have learned much about the art of healing, though not everything.
There are an unlimited number of Journeyrats. Positions are generally held by adults and teens. Particularly gifted adolescents may become Journeyrats.
Apprentice Healers
These rats are just beginning to learn about healing.
There are an unlimited number of Apparentices. Generally adolescents, though dedicated children may become Apprentices.
Other Leaders
These rats are generally adults and elders that have not learned the healing arts, but they are considered leaders and can assist in bringing new members into the colony.
Security
Generally male, security rats are always on the look out for troublemakers. They uphold the colony's rule of "Don't bite us and we won't bite you."
Recruiters
Can be either gender, starting from teens. These rats venture away from the colony to bring in more members, generally healers and security types. It is not unknown for a recruiter to bring in whole litters of newborns that have been abandoned.
Members
Any other member of Safe Haven. Any rat may choose to become a healer at any stage of life, however unless the rat has prior knowledge, he or she will begin at Apparentice rank.
