The desert, Home to a great many things: Sand, Cacti, Dead People, Snakes, Wind, HEAT... Yeah, so apparently the desert isn't too much fun... but there ARE things hidden there... As two young individuals will soon find out.

Cynthia's steps were already heavy, as the desert seemed to have already swallowed herself, and the lycan she was with, Lloyd. With glances around she only saw sand, and felt the sun's rays on her skin. This is almost unbearable... Yet, she was hoping this day would pay off with some fun discovery. "Um, do you know where to start?"

Lloyd shook his head, searching the land around them. ""I've got the sneaking suspicion that that rock over there might have something..." He said, pointing out a large jutting stone.

Cynthia sighed, he had suspicion? "You have no clue, do you?" Still, she glanced over to the rock that was pointed out and shrugged, it was as good a start as any.

Lloyd nodded. "Great! Race you there!" Lloyd challenged playfully, dashing out across the sand with surprising speed. He only stopped when he nearly tripped over something partially buried under the sand. Curious, he went back to examine it. "Hey, Cy..." He started.

Smirking, Cynthia ran, feeling sluggish in the deep sand that seemed to rround them. However, as Lloyd almost tripped she stopped, catching her breath quickly as she asked worriedly, "You alright?"

Lloyd replied. "Yeah, I just almost tripped on something. You should come check it out..." He suggested, as he started to brush the sand surrounding it out of the way.

Curiously, Cynthia knelt beside Lloyd, helping to brush away sand. Having no clue what was just mere inches beneath them, she asked, "Any ideas what it is?"

Lloyd shook his head. "Nope, but whatever it is, it's pretty big..." He commented, as he uncovered what appeared to be the bow of a ship, stopping suddenly to jump on Cynthia, tackling her to the ground, just behind the rock. Not long after he did, a sandstorm kicked up, and blew much of the sand covering the object away, leaving a rather impressive ship in it's place.

Cynthia's eyes closed as she felt her back impact the ground. The wind would have been nice, had she been in a better position. Sitting up just slightly, she teased, "Aren't you going to buy me dinner first?" Laughing, she looked out, only to see a ship. "What. The. Hell?"

Lloyd blushed a bit at her comment, retorting with his own. "It's Movie, Dinner, Foreplay, then "Hide and go seek"..." He started before he heard her question. His eyes grew wide as he saw the ship, and wasting no time, he ran out to explore it. It was surprisingly well-kept for something buried out in the desert, it's masts still intact and not the least bit torn and tattered. Lloyd stopped at the anchor and urged for Cy to climb up it with him.

With the initial shock of surprise gone, Cynthia stood slowly. She had to brush the hair from her eyes to see properly, and let out a small laugh as she watched Lloyd's excitment. Following him, she shouted back playfully, "This is definitely worth dinner!" Holding a bright smile and interested expression, she stood beside the lycan, asking, "How...What are we going to do? I mean...it's a ship!"

Lloyd smiled, pointing up. "Easy. We climb this anchor up on deck! Then, we explore it! Just think of how much crud could be on that thing..." He said, starting to climb the chain.

Giving Lloyd a small smirk, Cynthia started to ascend the ladder. The old rope was rough on the hands, but this girl could handle it without too much difficulty. About half way up, she had a thought, poke the lycan to get his attention, "Um, don't you think the media will have a field day over this?"

Lloyd stopped his climb, pausing for a moment to consider it. To be honest, the paparazzi had completely escaped him for a while... Then it clicked. "Don't worry about it; what are the odds of anyone else being out here? This IS the desert after all..." He contested, moving up the anchor once more.
