If you're replaying Ocarina of Time on the 3DS (as it comes out today) share your experiences on it with us! How does it compare to the original, if you've played it before? Do you like it better, worse, about the same? Tell us why, especially for those of us who may not have or get the opportunity to play it! OoT 3D is in stores TODAY (except for Australia - those down under have to wait until the 30th). Go to your local retailer and pick up your copy, or stop by simply just to try it out!

Oh, this is definitely a good remake.
There aren't too many differences, other than the graphics have been cleaned up... and that's pretty much it. XD;;
The only downside is that the 3D hurts my eyes, so I didn't get the full experience with it and only played 2D. But I did love the fact that the use of the 3D camera allowed you to aim as if you were actually there (unless you're laying on your back in bed, doesn't tend to work if you're playing before you go to sleep).
Master Quest so far is amazing, but now with Skyward Sword's release, I've neglected the crap out of my 3DS.
So if you have the money, or impulse spending parents (like I unfortunately do) I recommend this most definitely.

My brother got the limited edition Zelda 3DS bundle for his birthday (;____; SO JEALOUS - but then I have Fi, my iPhone biggrin yeah I named it after her.....LOL). He's let me try it out and wow. I love the revamped graphics, I love how they kept the sounds and music the same, etc. The 3D is really cool when you're looking at it correctly - watching my brother play from the side is trippy because unless I'm looking right over his shoulder it's like I'm seeing three Links running around. XD
Yeah I also had weird sensations in my eyes due to the 3D. I remember reading on the box a warning that said not to play with the 3D effects on for more than 4 hours straight or something. LOL disclaimer I guess. Good thing you can turn the effect off.
SUPER MIRACLE EPIC EDIT 12/25: MY AMAZING BROTHER GOT ME THE ZELDA 3DS BUNDLE FOR CHRISTMAS OMG I am so psyched. Played 2 hours of OoT today and I am in awe. It is GLORIOUS.

I am looking forward to playing it, I heard there are a few details in scenery that they added due to the new capabilities. I just want to wait for the price to go down a little, as I don't see paying the full 50 dollars for a game a still have for the Gamecube. razz Also playing spirit tracks(though I dont think itll be a long game), pokemon, some simpler games and skyward sword so cant say Im running low in the gaming feild at the moment.

I've got to say that as a middle-generation player that started out playing Link to the Past (best game in my opinion), I didn't really get the opportunity to play the original. I finally did on an emulator and then on an N64 and needless to say, I sucked. sweatdrop But then I bought the Zelda 3DS bundle on Black Friday and...
Wow. Just wow. The game is upgraded in every way. The graphics are better, the gameplay is so much smoother... I love it. Best remake of a game ever.
(Now if they just made Majora's Mask already)

You can always buy it used! I got mine used for only $30. O: Dear Lord, I cannot wait for Majora's Mask, it's definitely my favourite out of the N64 games.

I forget where I read it, but they're going to release it, most likely because it is a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time. : D
