After Nero bought Lyla, he decided that it was time to go back to his home, well his apartment. Homes were too high maintenance for him and he didn’t need a big place in the first place. What was he to do with the extra room? He lived alone; well until now he lived alone. He scratched at his head, muttering about the awful hat upon his head. Yeah, he was so going to have a shower when they got home.

He led Lyla out of the slave shop, keeping his head low and looking both ways as he passed groups of people. It wasn’t that he still thought those women were following, no. He knew they had given that up, but it was other people he was careful of. People always tried to get at him and it disturbed him. With his hat on and tail away, he looked normal, but without them…he would be swarmed.

Once at the street, safe and sound. Nero hailed a taxi and hustled himself and Lyla into the car. It was a silent ride home after he told the man his address. During the ride, Nero kept his hat down low and shifted in his seat every now and then since his tail hurt and felt cramped from being tied around his waist for too long. He placed his head on the window glass and closed his eyes, tired now.

The taxi drove on and weaved through streets and around other cars as they headed home. It was silent in the cab and Nero really didn't mind it. He was tired and wanting silence and he didn't really know what to do with Lyla when they got to his apartment. They'd have to discuss sleeping arrangements and other things about his place and stuff like that.

He wasn't looking forward to that since he was seriously sleepy. Why did he have to run today? It made him groan inside as he thought back to that. But no he had a bodyguard and though she didn't look like one, he could still use her to ward off others. Or he could say that she was his girlfriend and keep some women at bay. It would limit his fun at clubs, but oh well.

The cab came to a stop at his building and the cabbie told him they arrived, though he could already tell. He could smell the scents of the place around them, the food shops that he was used to. Taking out his wallet, he paid the fare and opened the door, pulling Lyla out with him. The taxi drove away and he sighed, heading toward his building. "Hone, sweet home. Ah. We're going to have to discuss living arrangements, okay. You'll see why once we get in."

He said hi to the lobby woman once they were inside the building and continued up, going with stairs since he lived on the third flight anyways. No point in being lazy with the elevator. He took his keys out his pocket as they reached his door at the middle of the hall. He opened it and waited for her to go in first. "Not much to look at right?"

Nero shut the door behind them as they went inside his apartment. He didn't think it was much to look at since the furniture was basic and he never really had a flare to make it better than it was now. It was rare for him to bring others over and now that he had, well he was a little lost at what to do.

Absentmindedly, he took off his hat and scratched his head, his ears low on his head as he walked into the living room area, dropping the hat down on the couch. "Uh....I'll give you more than a corner...you can take the couch. There's only one room here. Mostly cause I....thought I'd be living alone for the rest of my life." He looked over to her then away as he didn't quite know what to do now that they were home.

He tapped his fingers together in an absentminded way before sitting down on the couch. "So...lets just chat. I'll tell you about why I need you and you can tell me about yourself. Sound good?"
