The forest....there was something, different about it. And Maraia wasn't sure if she liked this sort of different or not. She flew low over it, skimming the tree tops as her large silver feathered wings were stretched out to thier full extension the in the gluide. Ever now and then she would have to flap and regain some altitude but that was no matter. In the center there was....Maraia flew higher still, unblinking golden eyes widening in suprise as she cought the size of the...there was a town in the middle of this odd forest. The real question was, if people are strange enough to make thier villaige so deeply within this wood, would they be open minded enough...
The young chissiri woman gained more altitude, looking over the town carefully from a safe distance. A young man on one of the rooftops seemed the only danger at this time of night, and he held no distance weapons. Silver wings backstroked as Maraia stopped, then flapped lazily whilst she hovered. Her slender figure was one that appeared very close to human like, and indeed the Chissiri were not remarkable different when it came to the body, though the wings were definitely a defining difference. Her ebony hair, tied back in a braid to keep it out of the way in the high winds of flying, contrasted greatly with her pale skin, that now shone paler still in the light of the nearly full moon.
She wore doe skin breeches and a loose cream colored tunic as well as soft leather boots and the leather shoulder bag that held all else she traveled with. Her head cocked slightly to the right as she sent a tiny tendril of thought towards the man on the roof, see if he would be safe to talk to, or if he was just as closed minded as nearly every other blasted human.

Tyasha looked at the doors, locked with a large wooden cross "damn..locked out again.." he said as he looked at the sky, his meduim hair moving slightly with the breeze, his white shirt moving slightly. He only had one thought, whould he die out here in the cold? he picked up by a female vampiress, be turned and start his life a new with her, that was only one of his many fantasys. Tyasha was dreamer, he wanted to see life from a vampires veiw. He only wanted to know how they felt, it would be so amasing. Tyasha looked down again and moaned "only if.." he asked himself what if he were found. He cought a glimpse of a light sivery thing above the forest, and he stood and dusted off as he watched it in grace, so delecate, an angel?

A small smile pulled at the edges of Maraia's lips as she found the mind she touched was as open to new and strange things as a dragon to a new peice of gold for it's hoard. Given, she'd never really seen a dragon, but the analogy held. Lower she let herself drift, though still above the trees and rooftops. Closer to this mind that so called for something new. He could help her.
~Young man, will you meet me just inside the forest? I wish to speak with you, but cannot do so within the town.~ she called gently to his mind, wishing not to startle him into alarming action. More particularly wishing him not to become fearfull and rouse the town with weapons to defend from the Non-Human. Being attacked would considerably set back her goals.

Tyasha looked at her softlyand said lightly "she..spoke to..me.." he let his mouth turn into a gaping smile. Tyasha jumped off the roof quietly and ran into the forrest and looked for the beutiful sight once again. He walked to a large tree and sat beside it, holding a kikori leaf, he slowly nibbled on it, thats what it was for, it was a minty flavored leaf. He watched the trees move witht he breeze of the wind from her wings and he slowly said "were are you..my angel.."

Maraia smiled, his awe was quite clear even as seh peered only into the outer edges of his mind. 'ah well, it's not exactly what I need, but it'll help. The Chissiri suddenly dove down towards the trees, pulling up to land in the upper branches of the one he waited at. silver wings pulled in close as she climbed the rest of the way down. Landing lightly in a crouch, she grinned impishly up at the young man before straitening. ~Thankyou for your cooperation. You wouldn't how hard it's been to get someone to just talk for a minuite~ she spoke again into his mind, though more cheerfully this time as she was almost sure he wouldn't turn on her. Her wings stretched, then rustled as they relaxed from the last few hours of steady flight.

Tyasha smiled "your.." he said as he was breathtaken, "amasing." he said as he took away his awe and replaced it with maturity "can..I..touch..them.." he said as he walked up to her, no fear at all in him.. ((g2g))

Maraia's smile turned to one of compliance while mentally, she rolled her eyes. Leave it to a Human to be so awed by something so simple as wings. 'Then again, I keep forgetting they're not an every day thing for these people.' One wing extended and Maraia looked at it amusedly. ~I suppose so, but be gentle, they're rather sensative.~ she replied, just as cheerful. The young woman couldn't help but be pleased by such attention, despite the mild foolishness of it from her point of view. Provided, she was a silverwing but....ah, it's harmless, let him be happy.
The truly remarkable thing about this man, not counting his seeming infatuation with her wings, was his mind. If Maraia had not sworn never to intrude on another's mind without permission, she might very well have looked deeper into his. The creativity and well...openness of it simply intruiged her. He was the first she'd ever met like that. Even a few mages had not been so....she couldn't describe it with words.

Tyasha beemed at the seems with happyness as he slowly stroked her wings, and watched the light shine off of them. He smiled as he looked at her, and made a comment that he was tought never to make about people "do..you..speak..?" He looked down "im..sorry..that was rude.." he said as he looked down.

Maraia chuckled -alowed-. ~It's perfectly understandable, and as for your answer...It's both a yes and a no. I can't speak Human, and I doubt you speak Chissiri so I use mind speach.~ she replied simply, her wings shivering somewhat under his touch.

Tyasha smiled "can you teach me?" he said as he smiled, he had known alot of languages. He smiled as he rubbed her wings and asked "are..you cold?" he said as he brimmed, he was happy not to be alone at a time like this, it made him upset to see himself alone on a curfew..

*She walks amongst the thick trees, her eyes glowing crimson in the light of the full moon. She stays hidden in the shadows, observing in complete silence the winged being and human, blending into the shadow's of the moonlight hitting the trees, only her glowing crimson eyes breaking through the blackness. A bat fluttered above in the trees, and she raised a hand, allowing it to hang upside down from her long, pale finger, as she mentally put it's mind at ease to sleep. She continued to watch the strangers, not stalking them nor hunting them, simply observing their every motion with intensity.*

The chissiri woman sighed, shaking her head. ~No, I'm not cold. Like I said, they're just sensative. And as to the teaching....No. Chissiri if quite dificult to learn if you havn't grown up with it, and I'm not even sure a human mouch can pronounce it. That and if you were ever cought speaking it by one who knew us...well we'd both be in a sea of trouble.~ she chuckled ruefully. ~I could probably teach you mindspeach, you might be capable of that....but not Chissiri.~ unblinking golden eyes watched the human closely with intrest, though apprehension at his suggestion was also apperent.
