Oh hey, that's not so bad! It still has some good stuff going for it, and you can see your style emerging!

I still have my first ever dream avatar on tektek! (look how old the link number is! It's ancient compared to today!)

I was so proud of this until I realised I couldn't layer the hair that way, and I couldn't ever afford the angelic minis (which were only about 30mil at the time!)

And that is probably the most awful production ever. I hate those reversible bracelets and I hate senseless matching. I think this was in one of those enviro threads though.

Some quests I had.

This thread makes me nostalgic, and makes me wanna hold a "dress as your newbie self" meetup!

Alright. I'll show my past. Well, what I've got of it. I deleted most of my avatars I saved on my computer a while back.

2008. My first ever properly completed avatar. Compared to most noob's avatars: This isn't so bad. I had a period where I had blue hair before this avatar, but I can't seem to find any evidence to it. My first tektek is missing: But it had blue hair. Also it had Alruna's rose in it. Which shows to you my obssession with it has been here since the beginning.

My avatar further on in the year. God knows what possessed me. I used to think this was the best avatar ever. OTL How I was dumb... I have my Devil imp plushie in this avatar, which as you can see, I still have now.

Made in late 2009. This is just before I started making my avatar look like my character. I was so obssessed with matching... I am ashamed of this. Its not that bad. But it shows just how much my style of avatar has changed.

Here is my VERY first avatar. This thing was basically a perma avatar for a full year. After I got all the items for this I just stopped trying. lol I WAS SO DUMB.

I looked like this for another six months. rofl I still have that tail.

EDIT: Check it out! I found some edits I made way back in the day. XDD (The white haired d00d is this accounts past self. *shudder* )

This was my first ever proper avatar back in 2008 after my starter look.

In the days when I was still called Aquadreamer00, I always kept a blue/aquatic theme all the time.

This was my favorite avatar during this phase. It was tekeked for me by the guild captain of a guild I was very active in during my first six months on Gaia.

When I returned after a hiatus (I had exams) the guild had died out and I decided to venture from blue and experiment. I loved angel imps and stayed as one for a while.

This avatar was created during my brief stint in the AT in the summer of 2009, just before I stumbled across the GCD for the first time.

I was really fond of those narrow starter eyes for some reason...

To this day, I still consider this avatar to be the best one I've created so far. I have no idea how I came up with this.

I have an account somewhere that I recreated this avatar on, but sadly I've forgotten the password since.

These are the last avatars I'll show you. I created Rika in October 2009. Here are the earliest incarnations of her.

This was the avatar I worked little to come up with right after joining. I didn't like the starter stuff, haha.

And then I had this avatar as my first 'real' quest.

Back then, in 2007, Jinxi's charm was priced for roughly 90,000 in the marketplace. I thought it'd be impossible for me to get, ahha.
But I managed. And then had people ask if I was cosplaying someone from a rather... Adult animé. crying ; ;

I was like that for about a year or two, then I got back into Gaia
around the time Booty Grab came out.
Loved getting rich from that!

This was my first avi back in '05 when I was shady_09. I worked so hard for it. crying
I remember I had another hair but just had to spend ALL MY GOLD for this one because I thought it looked good with the Bao. I wanted that so bad.
Later: ~ Valentine's day 2k7. I'm on the right. | Taken ~2k8. I liked trolling cyberers... actually I still do. I have more, just though those would suffice...

Nowadays, if you look up my username in the TekTek search, you'll find some not-so-old dream avis.
The smoking schoolgirl, the one standing in a pool of blood and "goth loli" were ones I actually wore. smile
