PERSONALITY⇛Nozomi is a woman of many things. She is not only greedy, and willing do many things to obtain riches and extravagant goodies. She is also cunning. Always working her noggin to make a few extra coin here and there. She is a woman determined to obtain the finest in things by doing what ever she sees possible. That includes charging those who need medical assistance, one of her most favorite things to do. Which indeed, could make her seem a bit sadistic and cold of heart.
Though she is all those things. Nozomi is good at what she does, including properly healing those who had paid her price. This includes minor enemies if they were indeed willing to suck in their pride and accept her fee - Though most never do. And though she is indeed a greedy woman, she can be flexible at times depending on her mood and who was in front of her. She isn't after all completely unable to reason with, even though she seems stubborn, bossy and hates bartering unless it is in her favor.
Along with all those flaws she can be a very noble woman, in her own sense. Only preying on those she deemed stupid enough to fall for her tricks, making the person agree rather then tacking it. After all, though stealing is a quick and easy way to obtain the lovely things in life, it always ended up costing more than the product that had been taken, and she hates to think of such prices. As such, she became a hard worker and a driven young lady. She believes in having to get your hands dirty when the time comes, and when there are no other options available.
She does have a few quirks that can give her scheming mind away. The most obvious being her pointer finger tapping some part of her face as she thinks of ways to obtain an objective or money.
BIOGRAPHY⇛ Nozomi didn't start off as a tainted soul. Not in the least. She started off as a innocent child who did what she was told, no questions asked, and having a mother who cared deeply for her and did everything she could to try and keep her daughter happy, even without the help of her biological father.
At a early age Nozomi understood the value of money, and understood it could be at times a desperate thing to grasp as she watched her mother struggle through life just trying to put some food on the table, let alone buy new things for her daughter - the clothes on both their backs were hand downs from those who pitied them. She did what she could at such a young age to help out, helping out her neighbors whom not only gave her some coin but some stories as well. That was when she heard of her mother's greatness as a medical ninja, and decided she wanted to be one too.
Being a child who idolized her mother, she did all she could to follow in her mother's footsteps. Nozomi was truly a medical prodigy, a lot like many before her, even surpassing her mother's own great skills - much to the aging woman's delight. She quickly moved from Academy student to Genin, all the while watching her mother grow sick.
The day her mother died was the day her team was told they were going to compete in the Chunin exams. Being a child of obedience, she didn't question her mother about her illness and instead tried to help make her life easier. She also hadn't been one to question her mother's odd jobs, only to find out on the woman's death bed that she had whored herself to make some sort of living for them. Her dying words to her only child being 'Do better then what I did.' Which caused Nozomi to grow to assume the reason the reason of her mother's death was the stress that came along with money. This was her first step towards being who she is today.
She had been promoted from Genin to Chunin with ease, her drive to prove herself to her now deceased mother making it easier for her to climb the ranks. Taking on any job that was given to her without as much as a disapproving look, and executing them with minimal loss or harm to the team that she could manage. Saving and hoarding her money for bigger and better things only sparing the coin needed on necessities for the time being.
It wasn't until after she had been promoted as a Jonin did her greed start fully showing. She began doing what she could for money while not on missions, such as weaseling drunken ninja from their mission savings in bets and simple gambles she knew she had the upper hand in. Then the time had come when she had been presented with a option - she had been battling a man who had noticed her eying a sparkly jewel on his necklace, a smirk plaguing his lips as he offered it to her in exchange for her to say he had gotten away, explaining to her how it was easily worth more than what she was going to get paid for completing the mission. After a quick thought, she agreed to his proposal, the seed of being disloyal to her village, and the seed of greed, sprouting. After that her mission success rate began to plummet, though her riches and cache of nice things increased exponentially.
Soon after being confronted with her success rate, and with minor evidence that she had been bargaining with the 'enemy' she fled the instant she could, leaving behind everything but what was on her back and the money she had saved. She set out on a search for power, because with power came money and riches. And thus she sought out and joined Tasogare, being their medic and treasurer. She is now the person she had actually been hiding all those years, and without any regrets.
APPEARANCE⇛ Nozomi is a thin but curvy woman in her own right, standing at the height of 5'3" with angled features. Choppy white/silver hair and steady cadet blue eyes that matches her pale snow white complexion all to well. She generally wears plain but elegant, in it's own way; short kimono inspired cloths. And the only form of jewelry is the jewel from her first bribe which sits at the center of her chest.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES⇛ Due to her petite physical attributes she is weak against hand to hand combat, even though she is rather agile and stubborn. She is also weak against decent bribes, and would walk away from a fight or heal a enemy when offered enough money and her own safety. She likes to fight at mid to long rage distances with poison tipped senbon, shining the most when it comes to poisons and most things medical.
