Apparently, the makers of Final Combat are saying that Valve STOLE their idea. Here's something a Steam user translated on the forums of the website. Quote: "Truly it can be said, with most certainty that final combat is above any valve creation. Valve, being threatened by the success of Final Combat, due to it's quality characters, cartoon weapons, and superior map design, elected to steal our hard work, and made the second fortresses of teams in an attempt to force their very sad players to purchase golden unlockables, to open metal boxes. But, it is a happy day, for soon our original, superior product shall eclipse this lower work utterly." excuse me while i go have a fit.

Nu! The Final Combat people are wrong! D: Valve, I know, is original and the honest people would never steal an idea from China. >_> I mean really, you don't see Square Enix stealing Sora or Cloud from anything. They made a contract with Disney to feature Disney characters in the Kingdom Hearts series, but the rest is pure imagination.
I don't think China makes very many video games, do they? .__.

Well, no s**t they're lying through their asses.
If plagiarizing is sure to result in flamewars, then you must steal! Sun Tzu said that, and I think he knows a little more about Chinese Game Industries than you do, pal, because he invented them, and then he perfected them so no living man could sue him in the court of honor!
