The air was crisp and bone chillingly cold as Lily Evans stepped out into the winter morning. Soon it would be time for the students to leave for Christmas and Hogwarts would be deserted. For now however Lily was making the best of being surrounded by the magic that was the school. She did love Hogwarts grounds in the winter.
Speaking of winter, she realized she was covered with snow. She shook the accumulated snow flakes out of her fiery hair and brushed them off her winter robes. She was hoping to run into Severus before the others woke up and she wanted to look somewhat presentable.
