Another idea I'm tossing in here for all the guild to see.
The RPR does only group roleplays, but there's a huge market for 1x1 roleplays. For those who don't know what that is, that's when there's only two roleplayers in the thread, and they back and forth, completely controlling the settings and working as many characters as they need or want to.
In the Barton Forum, most of these roleplayers like to go to the Invitation Only subforum. They like it because it's a bit more private - not as many people go there, because you can't just pick out a story there and hop in, it's against the rules.
So I was thinking, who would be interested in a 1x1 directory here in the RPR? It would basically be a list of users in the guild who are interested in finding a roleplay partner.... kinda like the classifieds. Their roleplays could have a special [ONE] tag, or.... maybe..... go in the empty forum?
This is seriously just an idea I'm tossing out into the air. There's a poll up top, and if I have between 5 and 10 people (at least) tell me that they explicitly want this, and would like to have 1x1 roleplays in the RPR.... Well, then, I'll see what I can do for you guys.

I think it would be nice. The problem with having big groups in one RP is that...some people take forever to reply, or don't reply at all, and, therefore, make it harder (or impossible) for others to reply. >.>

I've got no complaints there, and would be fine assigning one of the unused subforums to be a 1x1 area, we could set up a thread either here, or a sticky in the main area for ads/offers of 1x1 RPs.
The Refuge is open to all RPs, but I will admit most go for larger groups . . . sweatdrop

Almost all the roleplays in the RPR are meant for large groups - Knights is actually one of the smallest roleplays I've ever been in.
I think though, if we can offer a second type of experience for people, that might draw the crowds back in.

I like group roleplays better because of "the more the merrier" and "two heads are better than one" type-concepts. But I also occasionally like the faster-pace of the one-on-one RPs. I would use a directory if you put one up!
