Right now I'm having one of the worst depression cycles I've had in months. I just want to lie in bed and scream until I go hoarse and then cry myself to sleep.
Two years ago my last boyfriend and I broke up. That literally almost killed me.... We've remained friends since then, but I've never completely gotten over the fact that he doesn't love me anymore.
Part of me even accuses him of being a liar.
Just like all couples do he once told me "my love for you will never fade" <-- (exact words) ...and, just like every naive, lovestruck girl, back then I believed it.
Tonight, Valentines eve of all nights, I had a breakdown, but now I've started thinking... how am I going to get over him? Two ******** years have gone by and I still feel the same way I did when we were still together.
I don't want to give him up as a friend. Despite the semi-harsh breakup, we're still really good friends, but I think if I ever want to get rid of these wretched feelings I'm going to need to.
......God, I hate depression. =_=;;

Dwelling on s**t really ******** sucks. I am a professional dweller... Um.. I'm not really good at this sort of thing, so I know that anything I'll say with probably just make you feel worse. confused I think that the only way to "get over" someone, is to find someone else. Easier said than done, I know. But, meh. Like I said, I'm really shitty at this... *Hug*

Wow... I'm not sure I can be of any help to you in your situation, but I'll try my very best. If it were me, I would try talking to this guy. I mean, if you're really close. If this friendship is more of a hi in the hallway thing, then maybe don't talk to him. But you can't keep it inside. I know from experience that keeping things locked up is the worst thing a person can do, especially a depressed person.

Not many people would even suspect that we're each other's Ex's, considering most people don't remain friends after they break up... but anyways... I've talked to him about it before too. =/ He always says look on the positive side. Much easier said than done, but apparently it IS easy for him. =_=;;

Oh God, I know EXACTLY how that feels. Things with my first love have been crazy and on and off, but we've always come back together again. There've been so many complications and weird stuff..eh, I can't explain it. But somehow, we always end up together. I like to call it gravitation love. wink In any case, I don't think I could ever ever get over her. I tried subconsciously for three years, even while we were saying that we loved each other. But the paralyzing fear that we'd be apart one day always told me, "Be prepared, get ready, it could die any minute. Try and detach yourself, to save yourself the pain." I never really could. I hope to be with her a long time before things finally crash down. The inbetween times that I was away from her gave me the deepest depression as well. =\ So I know almost exactly how you feel. And you can't just 'get over it'. uu; :: hugs :: I sincerely hope you feel better soon, because unrequitted love is one of the worst feelings in the world..

:hugs: I know how you feel. I've had days where I just wanted to crawl out of my skin and scream at the top of my lungs, just so people would pay attention and at least try to be sympathetic to what I was feeling. Almost cut my hair off the other day, lol, glad I didn't follow through blaugh
