Mel walked in with her stuff and set it down next to the bed, i guess i could get used to the quiet here, there's no way ill be obvious anymore at least. she thought, she began to unpack and settle in, she sighed softly.

Yuki walks in and looks around. She goes over to an empty bed on the other side of the room than Mel's, and puts her stuff under it. She makes the bed with her sheets, quilt, etc. She lies down and pulls out a book. She begins to read while singing, Paranoid Butterfly softly as she waits for Mel. ((Paranoid Butterfly is a vocaloid song. I like it a lot.))

Yuki keeps reading for a second, then notices Mel. "Huh? Oh..." She went back to her book. She was so attached to it that it was typically highly difficult to get it away from her even in her sleep. It was one of the few things she had from home, and still made her think of her father...

Aishu, a little hesitant at first, entered what was now going to be her new room. As she walked by the rooms, she noticed two other girls. Not being much of a people person, she continued on into the last empty room. She walked inside and sighed.
It's not like you had much of a choice.
She needed this school, especially being what she was. She needed to learn how to control her powers, which seemed to be connected to her emotions, and become stronger if she really wanted to survive on her own.
She placed her suitcase on her bed along with her backpack and began unpacking.

Yuki read until she fell asleep. While she slept, she dreamed of her home, the city of Hollow Bastion, being raided and destroyed by The Hunters, a clan of death demons, soul eaters, humans gone mad with false powers given to them by illusions, and... and what else she did not know. The last thing she dreamed before she drifted into a black, silent sleep, was the high tower being destroyed in a blast of soulless energy and the most terrible creature ever to live being released from it's supposedly eternal prison.

Aishu's eyes widened a bit as she clenched her chest. That was the thing about her Empathy power...she never had any control over it. The person the emotions belonged to seemed close.
"What is this?" she asked herself. "Sadness...fear?"
She dropped her things and walked out of the room.
"They hurt.." she thought. "whoever is feeling this...they hurt."
She continued down until she came across another room with a two sleeping girls inside. One seemed to be fine, while the other...
She could see this girls face from where she was standing, and the look said she was having a restless sleep.
"She's having a bad dream..."
Although hesitant, she eventually walked in and over to the sleeping girl. She placed her hands on the girls shoulder.
"Um...wake up..."

Yuki woke up. She put her hand on her head and felt her eyes slowly turning black. Ah! She thought as she felt her neck. She looked around on the floor frantically. She saw her necklace and welt for it. She quickly put it on and her eyes snapped back to blue. She sighed and held the crystal around her neck.

Mel woke up from the commotion and automatically turned into a fox with 5 tails and dissolved into her bed till she was under it, hiding in the shadows poised

Aishu jumped back and watched as the girl frantically looked for something. Once the girl calmed down, she spoke.
"I'm-I'm sorry!" she said quickly. She felt really bad for intruding. "I didn't mean to wake you..i mean..i did because you were having a bad dream, but..i'm sorry!"

"It's fine." Yuki said, calmly. "Just next time you see me or another shadow demon with solid black eyes, you should run. Or you might end up dead." She turned into a wolf and curled up on her bed, and gave Aishu a look like she should leave.

Aishu cocked her head to the side a little bit.
"That's odd...I have seen a few shadow demons in the past..but..you don't seem like them."
Her empathy ability had kicked in and she could feel what emotions Yuki had been emitting.
"There's fear.." she thought to herself. "She seems afraid of a few things...but..she's..afraid of herself?"
Aishu walked over and placed her hand on Yuki's arm, causing the emotions inside Yuki to flow more freely inside Aishu.
"Ne...you don't feel like a bad person...so..I'm not afraid of you. I don't think I ever would be."
She saw the look Yuki had given her and quickly backed off.
"I'm sorry for intruding. I'll leave you be."
She turned and started walking away.
"Hinamori." she said as she did. "Aishu Hinamori."

"Not all shadow demons act as if their title suggests." Yuki said, stopping Aishu. "The ones you've met were probably shadow demons that were turned into death demons by their own pride. Now goodbye and goodnight." She burrowed herself under her blanket then stuck her nose out and fell asleep.
