Welcome to: Information about Clinton Park:
It is a public facility for anyone to use to his or her whim. In the center of the park is a beautiful lake. It does contain wildlife, so be careful, but it is not deep, so swimming for little kids is not a problem.
It is a park, so there is a playground situated on the park, complete with swings, slides, jungle gym, and all that. A few yards from the playground is a basketball court and much more.
For the older generations that visit the park, there are paved walk areas surrounding the park with very beautiful sights. Lights illuminate the park at night, so seeing is no issue. There are dozens of places to sit and rest.
Enjoy your time here~

“Wanna play? All my other toys got broken…I hope you last longer~” ₡ᶉᴪᵽᵵ ∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝∝ The swing set creaked under the weight of the boy who placed his feet in the seat. His pale, slender fingers grasped onto the metal chains as he stood upon the seat, looking up at the sky. It was nighttime now. The crickets had long been out, serenading the air with their chirps to one another.
A slight breeze had started, making the night air crisp with the cold. The boy's breath could be seen as he breathed. The light cloud of mist floated in front of his face before dispersing and being replaced by another cloud. He looked around, seeing no one, and a sad look came across his face for a split second. He made no noise though as he pushed the swing to sway back and forth, him with it.
If someone looked closely at the child, they would see that he wasn't an ordinary person. For one, his eyes glowed a peculiar deep pink, almost red. His body looked transparent in the night and his breathing was a bit irregular. He only wore the thinnest of clothes, yet the night was cold enough to show his breath, but he didn't seem bothered by it. An eerie aura settled about him.

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… She never thought it would have worked. Of course, Keira knew she was brilliant, and that the guards were usually perverted idiots who had little but cruelty on their minds, but she never thought she’d be able to actually pull it off!
It had been simple, really, just a mixture of her pyrokinesis and manipulation into one beautiful scheme. She had simply distracted the majority of the guards, all too stupid to read her file, and blown up another which was on the other side of the shop. She grabbed the keys from the last guard to turn and look, and then simply opened the cage door as they all rushed over to their co-worker to see what the hell had happened. From there it was as simple as jumping the front desk, grabbing her switchblade, and booking it out the back doors; the ones that were always open, because that’s where they delivered the slaves to.
Finally arriving at the park she breathed out, running her fingers through her hair before she broke out in a grin. She began to laugh, although it may have been described more accurately as a maniacal cackle, until she fell back onto a slide. It took her a while, a long while to compose herself, but soon she was sitting with a coy smirk, her face resting on the tops of her hands, which were propped up on her knees. ”Humans are such idiotic, horrible, loveable creatures.” she mused to herself leaning back and pulling out her switchblade, flicking it open and grinning at the fanatical expression which was reflected back on her from the blade, ”This is why I love, Love, LOVE humans!” she sang out, beginning to laugh once again.
Again she calmed herself before she turned to look around the green area. She shouldn't be so reckless; who knew who was watching?
Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!

A slow smirk appeared on his face, one that was more murderous than teasing. He vanished from the swing set and hoovered above the park, waiting and watching out for whomever it was who entered his area.
He caught sight of her immediately, a girl. She began to go into a fit of laughter, one that made the boy want to laugh with her as well. She seemed fun to him and that peaked his interest in other ways. Even her maniacal laughter was to his tastes and that smile...wonderful.
Bored from hoovering and wanting to see the girl up close, he plopped down on the top of the slide, crouching there and looking down at her. He was rather close to her, and if he reached a hand down, he was likely to touch her coat. But he didn't. He just gave her one of his own wicked smiles, even though she wasn't facing him. Too bad that his reflection didn't show in that switchblade of hers.
"I agree. I love humans as well. Delicious creatures, like yourself." His voice came out as a low whisper and was followed by a crazed chuckle. There was a spark in his eyes, one that wanted her to see him and lash out.

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… Her eyes darkened but the smile remained, as she became aware of the guest she suspected was there. I knew I was right! Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean there aren't demon people watching you! she thought with a demented pride as she pushed her palms against the slide and leaned back, staring at the man from an upside-down view point. Her blade was still in her hand, shimmering in the night light as she clenched it tightly.
"Well hello there!" she said, her tone gleeful but on edge. She didn't like being snuck up on. It was her job to sneak up on others, not the other way around. "Delicious isn't the word I would use, intriguing, deluded, entertaining... there are so many better words!" she exclaimed, before she pushed her weight to the side in a lazy way, going quite fast despite her rather lethargic movements. She twisted towards the ground, catching her feet under herself and twisting under the slide. She appeared on the opposite side, half skipping half dancing backwards with her switchblade held up.
Her eyes gleaned with a sadistic pleasure and a wide smile found it's way back to her face. She held the switchblade up, angling it down slightly in an almost mocking manner; it seemed as though she were urging him to come forward. "So, what do we have here?~" she sang out, inspecting the man curiously.
Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!

It was rather cute though, the way she looked when upside down. He could even see how uncomfortable she was that he was there in the first place. It brought an even more wicked smile to his face. "I would. Humans are good eating. I like the ones who show lots of fear. That tastes best, but people like you are fine too."
Crypt watched her move away from him, skipping and watching him back. His smile turned to one of childish fun as he slid down the slide, disappearing before he reached the bottom and appeared crouched looking up at her and her blade. That smile still on his face. His pink eyes looked at her blade with curiosity then to her. "Crypt. It's my name. Funny name, but I like it. What's your name...wait. I know. It's Keira. Right?" After taking her name from her mind, he gave her his best friendly smile, but it still looked a bit insane. Crypt chuckled playfully before standing up, holding his hand out for them to shake hands. "Nice to meet you, Keira."

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… She made an expression of almost drunken surprise when he knew her name. Then again, it was smarter to just not assume. "A pleasure." she half sang watching his hand with a curious glean. The friendly smile was mirrored by her own, and she immediately liked this person, even if he seemed to devour her favorite sport.
"Ah, it's nice that you know my name~" she mused, turning sharply and ignoring the hand, curious to see how he would react. Taking a few lazy steps forward and away from Crypt, before she turned sharply again to face him, she grinned leaning forward slightly to inspect him from a lower angle. "So, Mr.Crypt, interesting disappearing act you had there." she mused, gesturing to the slide with a slight tip of her head, "must make hide and go seek fun." she added, a side note which seemed irrelevant. Unfortunately, everything was relevant with Keira.
Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!

It wasn't an important thing though she was luck she hadn't taken it. He usually would have dug his nails into her skin then licked her blood from under them. He had poor manners as it was.
"Crypt. Just Crypt. It wasn't a disappearing act either." He gave her a half smile as he did it again, disappearing right from her sight. It was fun doing this to people, honestly it was. Most freaked out, some clapped, and some even wanted to know how he did it. Ha! Fools. He never told them, just laughed it off as he went in for the kill. But, with her, he didn't want to kill her.
Suddenly, he popped up back on the swing set that he had vacated earlier, swinging once again, but looking at Keira. "I like hide-n-seek. Fun game, but the people I play with are too scared and loud. I find them so easily. It's a bore." He appeared behind her suddenly, head tilted to the side and a small pout on his face. "I don't suppose you want to play, eh, Keira?" Now, he looked like a solemn little child. The smile of his was no where to be seen.

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… Keira wasn't afraid. Hell, she was far from it! Excitement flowed through her veins, and she turned her head slowly to smile widely at Crypt. He's either really fast, or he can teleport either way, this will be fun. she thought as she closed her eyes and suppressed a chuckle. Something about the glow to his pink eyes gave her chills, and for some reason she liked it. It wasn't normal for her to get even remotely close to fearing somebody.
This first was turning out to be really entertaining. She questioned silently if it was fear or anticipation which made her want to laugh out, to scream, to run, to lash out; the rush was amazing! "I wonder if on top of magic tricks," Keira mused, pausing as she turned around, not flinching with her face so close to his own. She continued in a whisper, like a child telling a secret, "I wonder if maybe you can read minds too?" she grinned, dancing back again with a squealing cackle which lasted much shorter than the previous. "Because that was just what was on my mind." she mused. Stalking slowly, deliberately, over to a swing and sitting back on it. Kicking her legs back and forth to gain momentum. "Of course, games aren't fun without the stakes being raised. Then people just don't take it seriously." she mused, her face falling into a childish pout. "I wonder, I wonder, what should I choose." she sang out as she continued to kick back and forth, her coat and hair flying around her as she swang back and forth.
Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!

She seriously thought that he was using magic tricks and he wasn't. It slightly annoyed him, but he didn't say anything about it as she wondered if he could read minds. He could, but he wasn't going to admit that little fact to her. They had just met and he was still considering her as food and a play thing.
He watcher her, silently, as she headed over to the swings that he vacated twice today. She started swinging on one as he walked over normally to sit down on the grass as she pumped her legs. At her word choice, he chuckled, falling back on to his back. Then he started making a snow angel, though here was no snow and he was far from being an angel. "Stakes are sharp and painful. I don't much like them. Not the best toys around. People always want to hurt me with them."
He sighed as he sat up. The pout that had been on his face, disappeared to a blank look. "So you wanna play or not? I kinda just wanna talk with you. You're fun. I haven't meet a fun person like you in a while. I also know you just escaped from a slave shop to come here and I wanna know why, how, and what you're gonna do next. Heh, I like questions." He stared at her, smiling that wicked smile once again.

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… Keira kicked her heals into the ground, stopping the swing harshly. Watching the boy with a smile. "That's too bad." she mused, getting off the swing to lean against the pole which held it up, "I like to keep people guessing."
Her dark tone contrasted the happy expression which flitted across her eyes, but she was entirely serious. After a pause she chuckled again, shaking her head at some unspoken joke before she looked to him, pocketing her blade. "Yea, I'll play. Running around was boring anyways." she mused pushing off the poll as she took large, emphasized steps across the grass. "Not too many places to hide, though." she grinned, shrugging it off, "Do I get something if I win?" she asked, the playful smile growing as she eyed the boy.
It would be fun to... cut him, she decided. She would get him, and teach him that humans were hers to play with. He seemed fun, sure, but he thought he knew it all. Her grin split to an almost insane point as she shoved her hand in the pocket of her coat and fingered the switchblade subconsciously.
Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!

She was strange and didn't seem to be able to stay still when she was around him. It made him jitter with excitement. She would make a very good play thing. Maybe he wouldn't kill her as long as she remained a constant fun thing to toy with.
Though she had moved, he hadn't. He stayed sitting down and was now plucking out grass blades and throwing them into the air to be scattered. When she said she'd play but if she's win something, he looked at her as he thought about it. "How about...I don't eat you and you can hid out at my place? My place is wicked cool. So much to do and its really fun when people come over, though not all the time. I like it." That smiled spread over his face again.
"I changed the game. If you can cut me with your blade, then you can come with me and I wont eat you. You seemed to really want to do that. " He eyed her hand then looked into her eyes, a playful gleam in his own. "I'll give you a ten second start."

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… She grinned, and instantly her blade was drawn. She was tempted to lunge, but decided not to. A) It could be a trap. And B) if it wasn't the game would end quickly and that would be boring.
Instead she pressed the blade to her tip of her thumb, pushed slightly, then pulled sharply to the side. A faint slice appeared, blood slowly forming on the surface. "One." she said, a joyous smile creeping onto her face. She continued until she had gone through all five fingertips; on both thumbs and fingers, on both hands. "Ten." she concluded, her smile stretching. "Ten seconds are up, now it's time to play for real." her eyes glinted in the moonlight, her shallow breaths coming in clouds as she danced forwards, twisting around the prey and aiming to clip him from the back. She would get him, she wouldn't allow it to end any other way.
Her feet padded softly on the ground, the light black boots giving her firm grip on the smooth grass. The crisp air stung her eyes, but that was nothing, nothing at all. She wished, however, that she had the intelligence to carry a hairtie; her the dark strands of her thick hair dancing into her face and imposing on her peripheral vision. She was prepared to turn sharply, not expecting him to just stand still. In fact, she expected him to be gone by the time the blade was supposed to meet his neck. She knew that it would be likely that he appeared behind her, or off to her blindside, where he could catch her off guard.
Something that she might do.
He enjoyed games, it seemed, playing with people, toying with them and putting them into the worst of situations, much like Keira did, although Keira only cared for the reactions. If they weren't interesting, then it was a waist of time. Crypt seemed like her, in that sense, so it would be wise to act as though she were fighting herself. Her grin spread, and she struggled not to laugh.
Oh what fun. Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!

There was now the smell of blood in the air, something that attracted him more than games. He could feel his canines itching to be extended, but unlike most vamps, he could control that little reaction.
Crypt didn't move immediately when Keira came at him. He wanted to smell her blood a little longer and as she drew closer, the smell because thicker and sweeter. She was coming at him fast too, only he tilted his head, the breeze sweeping his white hair into his pink eyes.
She got closer, enough to slice his neck, but it was then that he moved. A blur for a moment and he appeared in front of her, catching her blade hand and her other one. His smile toned down to a smirk before he raised her hand to his mouth, brushing her fingers against his lips. "Your blood smells heavenly." Then he was gone, above the swingset and walking it like a tightrope.
"You'll never get me if I use my speed,so how about I raise the 'stakes' as you called it. I'll go at human speed. No tricks." He jumped down and landed in a crouch, smiling over to her as he stood up. He touched his neck, no cut, no blood. Nothing. Ha.

Ring around the roses, a pocket full of posies… Keira would be lying if she said she hadn't been caught off guard by the sudden intimate touch. She shuddered again, a curious thing for her. Her redish-brown eyes glinted with a new feeling, not fear, not yet, but she was more serious now. The game was a lot pore personal. She couldn't quite place the adrenaline rush, but she imagined her own prey felt much like this, most the time.
Now that bothered her.
She was the predator, not the prey. The smile rose to her lips again, a little more insane than before, and she couldn't hold back the maniacal laughter, this time. By the time she had finally managed to calm down she was heaving for breath. Of course, she had dealt with non-humans before, but a vampire? Now that was a first. "You're really an odd one, now aren't ya." she mused fondly, chuckles still breaking through in her speech as she tilted back, almost drunkenly, before she took a calculated step forwards, towards the swing."I thought you had this figured by now. I'm not just some normal human. I'm faster, I'm smarter." her grin spread as she tapped the tip of her blade to her head, not breaking the skin but adding emphasis, "If you underestimate me I'll get mad, and I'll get you good."
It was something about this boy that intrigued her. Anybody in their right mind, not that Keira was anyways, would have been running back to the safety of their cage by now. Her curiosity and pride weren't even the whole issue. Something felt right about this scenario. Not that Keira believed in fate, that would involve admitting she wasn't in total control, but even she couldn't deny that it was almost like this was supposed to happen. She could only hope she was supposed to win. She didn't really feel like being eaten. Hush-a, Hush-a, you all fall down!
