This is Mock Combat for anyone who is unfamiliar on how to fight in Ace Combat. This fight will highlight how to engage/fight/and survive in Ace Combat. If you are still lost on how the system works, review the entire combat post again. If still lost, then consult one of the captains for help.
Throughout the entire combat, you'll notice that either I or Linezax777 will write in [ ] to show what exactly we're doing. This way, you can follow combat a lot easier.

Quickly accelerates to dodge backwards and sidewards to evade the attack.

Damage: 60 + 20 = 80]

This is the end of the Mock Battle. I hope that this demonstration will show how to fight in Ace Combat fights. Any questions regarding fighting can be either asked or reviewed in Rules. For Mock NPC Combat, read it in the Space sub-forum
