It appears that Angelica was not lying to Jack when he left her on the island twenty years ago. She had kept the fact that she was with child well hidden and gave birth shortly after she got rescued. After the rescue, she gave up being a pirate and spent her time raising her son. Jack met his son a few times but his mother made sure he stayed on dry land and never went out with the pirates. He grew up into a fine young man and ended up working at the blacksmith. He does share similar personality traits with his father and acts similar to him. However, since his father was a well-known pirate he ended up taking his mother's last name as his own and never told anyone he was Jack Sparrow's son.

Twenty-one years ago, William Turner left his wife, Elizabeth, behind to serve as captain of the Flying Dutchman. A year after her husband's departure, Elizabeth gave birth to their daughter and raised her in Port Royal. She raised her daughter on her own and watched her become the mirror image of her father. Her daughter never met her father until she was almost eleven, when Will was allowed to join them on land. Due to the fact that her husband was a pirate, Elizabeth kept her name Swann and did the same for her daughter, yet they both knew they were really Turners. Now a young lady, their daughter spends her day around the house or with her friends since women don't normally work. Many expect her to marry soon yet she sees no use in marriage. She never knew her mother was a pirate until her death yet always dreamed of sailing.

It appears that James Norrington did get over Elizabeth and ended up having a son with another woman. His son grew up in Port Royal with his mother while his father was fighting in the navy. Although, due to the fact that his father died when he was young, he doesn't have much memory of his father. When he was older, his mother told him that pirates killed his father, causing their son to hate all pirates. He joined the navy and worked his way up the ranks until he was made commodore recently. He is well respected by his men and wants to one day have a world free of pirates, for his hatred for them only grew as he did. His personality is very similar to that of his father.

Born to a poor woman, she never had the easiest of life and worked hard to help her mother. She came to Port Royal a few years ago and transformed from a lowly farm girl into a rich lady. No one knows where she got the money to become so rich but it actually came from her father, who had just learned of her existence. She became a well-respected woman and loved her life. She never had to work and life for her was good. Her mother never told her who her real father was so she simply assumes that her step-father is actually her father. She has no idea that she actually the daughter of Captain Barbossa due to the fact that she never met him nor carries his name.

Tia Dalma lived a secluded life after the death of Davy Jones and returned to her human form to raise her son. He was raised by the sea and learned to sail at a young age. When he was twelve years old, his mother put him on a ship to Port Royal and left him behind, becoming her true form once again. He arrived at Port Royal and got a job working at the docks at a young age. He started by repairing ships and watching over them when their captains left. As he grew older, he began to help with the fishermen but was never off shore for more than a day. He lives on his own by the shore, keeping to himself a lot due to his quiet personality, and wonders where his mother disappeared to, since he hasn't seen her since she left nine years ago.

Born in high society of England, she lived most of her life with her mother since her father perished before her death. She moved to Port Royal when she was young and lived most of her life there. She, like most people, hates pirates and wish they were all dead. She is a fine lady and spends most of her day socializing with other ladies in Port Royal. She hates to work, not that she has ever had to. Her family has been very well off since her father was a rich man. She wishes to marry soon since most of her friends are going to be married soon. She sees no joy in sailing and doesn't understand why men would want to spend time on a silly boat, unless they go to serve the king, and then it is worth it. However, she has no wishes to ever set sail on a boat off on some mission.
