K, before I started working out at the gym three months ago, I weighed 107 at 5'3" and had measurements of 34-24-34. I added more protein to my diet since I felt I wasn't getting enough.
It's been three months, and I haven't hit the gym as hard as I would have liked (but, that's just me.) I've at least done 3 days a week at a one hour sessions each. And I have now just begun to decrease my sugar intake and add even more protein to my diet. I'd eat a lot of healthy fruits and greens even before I started working out, it's just the lack of protein and too much sugar, that I've been working on.
The thing is, I've gained 7 lbs and now my measurements are 32-25-34. I've lost two inches around the bust (my cup size is still the same--I've just lost two inches around), and I've gained an inch around my waist.
I've done about the same cardio I've been doing, just added a lot more weight training.. Is it possible to add an inch or two to your waist without increasing fat percentage or is there something I'm doing wrong?
Because everything actually feels more toned than it was including around my stomach. It's weird that I've gained an inch. My stomach is still flat as can be though it looks a bit less concave.
My arms, thighs, and back look awesome though. And I'm toned all over. Is this inch on my waist really increased fat? sad
