It is very steep but covered in lush, rich, dark trees that cover the expanse of it. There are a few meadows in some flat areas and the very tips are covered in snow all year long.

"Hurry up, Gerdi, or I you won't get dinner." he called after him, strolling through a trail with a slightly beaten path in the lush grass. Haneul stopped and tilted his head up, colored ribbon falling around him as he inhaled the clear scent of the mountains. Peace....It was nice, borderline boring, but that's why he had her with him. A groan behind him snapped the trance and her long, thin fingers clutched his shoulder for support. The Trapper looked back and blinked lazily, staring at a breathless Pirate.
Gerdi glared at him as best she could, hunching and leaning on the Korean for support. ******** the air up here was hell thin! Nothing....Nothing like sailing....Holy crap. She forced a smile, taking in deep and uneven breaths.
"W-We almost there Hanny? I won't last much longer."

A dark, shadowy figure lurked through the thick forest. Filthy humans were coming here again to destroy his home...
His stomach rumbled slightly at the thought of eating again. It had been four months since he had last had anything to eat and it had been some fat couple that didn't believe in things like him. They held him over for a while but...they were frankly disgusting. He shivered at the thought of the taste. Not even his mother forest liked it. The blood was disgusting and the fat made him sick.
These two seemed like they wanted something though. They looked like hunters of some sort. His body now shook in anger. How DARE they come here to kill his beloved family.

Haneul pried her hand off his shoulder and rolled his eyes, dragging her along. He smelled something. Maybe some wires were needed...He glanced back, deep brown eyes meeting Gerdi's bright green. This girl always seemed to have sun on her, or some kind of light coming off of her. It was most odd indeed. He turned back and fixed his hand, making sure it kept the weather from damaging his fair complexion.
"We're almost there, but be quieter. We're easy enough to pick out because of our smell, the last thing I need is you announcing us."
She rolled her eyes and tied the long blonde locks into a low ponytail, fastening it with one of the multiple ribbons on her wrists. If Hanny said to hush, she should, his weird little senses were never wrong. Trappers were cool like that. So perceptive, pretty good when it came to creativity and ingenuity, but god did the man suck at fighting.
"Gotcha Hanny."

The massive beast followed the through the forest. He was going to destroy all the humans in this world if he had to. he dared them to make the first move. He dared them!
One of them looked like they were useless in battle. He would take out that one first.

"Gerdi, perk up, I'm going to set some initial stuff....But we're being watched." Closely. They were being watched very closely. The man could feel the intense stare, and the blood lust was almost suffocating. His eyes narrowed slightly towards a crowd of trees, reaching into his shirt slowly, pulling thin and virtually invisible wire from a spool tucked away. The Korean started threading a few knives, working them into strange patterns while muttering to himself. Gerdi looked around and attempted to see what Haneul saw, and gave up quickly, laying a hand on her flintlock and the other on her rapier.
"How big you think it is?" she mused, eyes darting around the equally green surrounding.

Dima almost made a noise of indigence. How dare they speak of him as if he were a pet. Or an item. He wanted to go over there and tear out his throats. He circled around the clearing. His teeth were bared and his claws out.

Haneul spread out the weapons, tightening them with the flick of his wrist and tweaked them, moved them, and tested their manipulation with each finger. Everything was working just fine, and a soft nod to Gerdi alerted her to the upcoming attack. She pulled her flintlock from a belt around her waist and smirked, looking around.
"C'mon out, Hanny knows you're there. If y'don't come out, he'll force ya." she sang out, itching to get this fight started. The Korean sat down and tugged on a few strings, watching in an almost bored fashion as trees were cut down so easily.

Dima howled in pain and rage, "YOU FILTHY!" He roared. He wasn't that stupid though...he skirted around the edge of the clearing and came out behind them. His tail raised. "You human's destroy everything you touch!"

"Behind, Gerdi!" he snapped. The pirate flipped around and stared, smiling ridiculously large and aimed the gun at him. She chuckled darkly and clicked the safety off, eyes glinting in the sunlight. Haneul waited for an opportune moment to slice down a few more trees, past experiences knowing how that could tilt a battle, and also....
"Hanny, he's bigger than you thought he'd be, huh?" she called back, sizing up the much larger being. Kay, bombs would be a good bet, swordplay might be a little iffy unless....Her eyes strayed up to the pointed tail and narrowed Unless that was faster than it looked.
"Shut up and pay attention, it'd be too hard to find a replacement."

Dima let another sound of pain escape his lips. They were hurting her...his poor mother. She did not deserve this treatment.
His tail twitched side to side in anger. The tip of the tail looked slightly wet now...covered in a thin layer of black gunk that looked an awful lot like tar. "You won't have to worry about finding a replacement. I'll spare you the trouble and kill you too!"
He dug a hoof into the ground and prepared to charge at the one who obviously knew how to fight. The would capture the other and eat the dead one in front of him.

Gerdi's eyes flickered again, muscles tensing to respond at the first sight of movement. She'd take out those legs if possible since he wouldn't be worth as much dead. Her other hand rested on the sword, watching the tail carefully. That was some deadly looking poison he had there...No doubt Hanny's antidotes wouldn't work on it.
"Can't kill Hanny, I won't letcha." she snarled through bared teeth. The Korean stood up slowly, pulling a few more strings and taking down two more trees.

The poor beast clutched at the sides of his head. He could feel the mountain become sad. And he could feel the trees dying. It was an unbearable sadness.
No one had really come up here to log or cut down trees. The wood was too dense to do that much with it. Before they were using it for fuel...before he was around...
Now people were after him?
Before he knew it...
He was on his knees. Tears streaming down his face. The pain was unbearable. "Stop!" He cried out.

Gerdi clicked her tongue and put the gun away, resting both hands on her hips and looking back at the trapper. She looked as bored as he normally did. The two looked at each other, then at the sobbing monster, and then back at each other, wondering what to do now. The pirate nodded the Haneul, who walked over slowly and kept his eyes on the giant. He kept th strings in his hand taunt, ready to slice more trees if something went wrong. Gerdi could only do so much physical damage, attacking internally was pretty convenient too.
"Will you come quietly, or shall I continue? I warn you, Gerdi is merciless in killing, and I will not hesitate to harm the forest more...." The Korean muttered.

Dima didn't know what to do. The only reason this forest was still here was because of him...if he left it would die. But if he stayed more of it would get hurt. "I can't do that. The forest needs me. You humans are all so selfish!" He snapped. His tail flicked around wildly.
